When dad taught me to drive a rig, back in '63, one of the things he drummed into my brain was, there's no excuse for a chargeable accident. Guess that's why I never had one. Thanks, dad! -Scorpio

When your road companion has four legs & fur,you always cater to them first lol. They may not be the best conversationalist, but they’ll always be at your side and you sir between that smart handsome fella & first class and a beautiful family waiting for you back home have the most a man can ask for! Stay safe driver & thank you for sharing your adventures.

Regarding hamburgers for your dog. Check the ingredients and make sure the burger you are giving him does not contain onion powder. Onions will destroy a dogs kidneys. Garlic is just as bad. It can also cause anemia, lethargy.....etc.

At about 6 years of age my German Shepherd decided he wasn't all that interested in the dry food we had been giving him for all those years. We switched to Zignature Kangaroo dry food and added a ground chicken meal product called Magic Dinner Dust. My boy would try to lick the chrome off the bowl when we added that dust. He made it to 12 1/2 and was trim and active. Hope you and Opie have a very long happy life. Thanks for your great videos.

When my dad was young some guy said he was going to commit suicide to the gas station clerk. When my dad was coming through with a full load of steers he pulled out in front of him and my dad ended up on his side with cattle everywhere, people can’t just deal with themselves they have to always involve others. Sad.

31 years on Crescent Iroquois FPD Crescent City Il a small rural volunteer like so many departments around America 🇺🇸. We handled many calls on Rt-24 plus lots of Chicago traffic on N-S Rt49.
We were there to help on people’s worse day ❤️
We did stop rerouting traffic especially since lots of drivers are not use to or trained to drive on rural roads and causing more accidents. Sadly major incidents are a shutdown of the road for 4-6 hours
    Be Safe out there Opie

Back in the 80's I sold Peterbilts. My spec's were used by the dealership to finally come into the MODERN AGE. Through my ability to spec TOP-OF-THE-LINE ROAD TRACTORS we stocked long-nose 359's with 60 inch sleepers (BIG back in those days ! ). Tractors had ALL THE CHROME I could find including dual air cleaners and FOUR large air horns ! * ! * ! You've WON MY OVER to Kenworth's LUV your rig. Keep up the GOOD WORK. JimInCincy.....

yep some dogs have a preference of what type of food and won't eat other types for quite awhile, which makes one go ahead and feed them what they prefer due to seeing them not eat for awhile. example, doggo does'nt like the ''wet'' type of food , yet you give him the same in a different type of form, (packed and just slides out with a lot more scent to it,that is a winner.) well anyways that was different seeing your truck on the backroads.. you and opie have a good day , along with the whole family.

Do like I do 40%dry60% wet mix with a little hot water to loosen up kibble that, way he's getting the kibble unbeknownst to him, dont give in with full can just give a tinny peice of treat if he eats that tinny peice you know he's being stubborn, IDK what ur feeding but my guys love the Purina Pro plan wet/dry combo P.S. don't forget the cosaquin and omega 3's and plz give a "pre" biotic
not just a "pro"biotic for digestive health all come in tasty chew form ECCPECIALLY if he's using stairs all the time cosaquin very important, keep the shinny side up driver happy truckin...p.s.s I'm a big KW fan and I love your truck

It happens too fast and too often. My husband and I were on our way to the Tri-State Gas Engine and Tractor show in Portland, IN and got hit. We were pulled well off of the road with our show trailer and old camper rig (the old high rise) when a guy in a pickup ran a stop sign at the intersection behind us, crossed 4 lanes and hit an empty grain hauler. It tipped the semi over and sent the works sliding into us. It was a clear day with visibility of 4 miles each direction. If we hadn't had the larger truck, I don't know what would have happened. That was 7 years ago and it still affects me. Please stay safe and God bless.

O-H-I-O Porter greetings.🇺🇸 This is one I hadn’t seen yet. Getting caught up. Don’t you just love those dusty gravel roads!? 😵‍💫 Most of the time they’re mainly one lane roads & the people behind you get tired of your dust & try to pass you!😠 Oh, the. The dust can catch up with you. You had a better shot of the wreck than we did, not that we really wanted to see it. I hate when a truck is involved in any crash. It usually tends to make me shiver a bit.😵‍💫 It’s good when they treat you with respect & just let you know what the situation is, but don’t forget to show them respect as well. I learned from my big brother to take it slow & easy as much as possible & not get into a rush. That kind of driving can save you a lot of headaches!🧐 Glad you guys are OK! 🥰🤩✌️

Hi Kurt & Opie, hope you are both well. My brothers dog had an issue with dried food and the vet told us it because it absorbs a lot of moisture once it enters the body. They told us to try putting the food into a bowl and adding a small amount of Luke warm water to it 10 mins before feeding the dog. It just softens the food before eating. Seems to have work as they’ve had no further problems. Hope this helps.

My dad taught me how to drive a truck and how to look ahead and watch the people down the road 🫣gives you a whole new outlook I would dang near brake at every cross road until I got used to it 🙈people run up on stops at full speed scares you to death. Learning things like at red lights the don’t walk will start flashing at the intersection before it goes yellow then red gives you something to watch giving you a few extra seconds to judge your plan 👍😎😎Rickster
