XG is a 7 member Japanese global girl group aged currently 18-22 formed by XGALX. They do Hip Hop/R&B and Pop.
XG is completely fluent in Korean and Japanese but they choose to sing/rap in English because they are a Global Girl Group.
They want to reach as many people as possible. This is why they sing in English even though they could sing in Korean or Japanese.
Fandom is called ALPHAZ because the leader of a pack of wolves is called the Alpha. They have a Wolves/Alien concept.

Whew, there’s a lot to say here, so I’ll just brief you with some details while other Alphaz can fill in other info.
XG (Xtraordinary Girls) are an all-Japanese global girl group based in South Korea. They call themselves X-Pop (don’t get hung up on the label and just enjoy the music lol). 4 rappers, 3 vocalists, 7 amazing dancers who can dance their tails off. All songs in their official discography are in English. They mainly do hip hop and R&B, but they also experiment with other sounds (as you noted, they’re quite versatile, which is starting to become word of the year lol).
The girl you like is Cocona, our hip hop maknae (18). She’s also my bias 🙂
Everyone rapped in WOKE UP, including the vocalists. Then you have 3 of the 4 rappers flexing their vocals in SOMETHING AIN’T RIGHT.

XG is a 7 member group formed by XGALX who parent company is Avex. The members ages range from 18-22. All members are Japanese with 2 members being mixed one is Japanese Australian and the other Japanese Korean.

They also have a Dream team managing and producing their music and videos. Every mv and covers, XG kills it. Simon Sakai was an avex trainee while attending a music college in Japan. After that, he was active in K-POP for a short time, and was asked by avex to launch XGALX (a Korean agency) and became a PD. This is correct.

XG is not from YG. No relation ship of some sort other than they used YG facility for training only since AVEX and YG has a partnership. The name of XG's company is XGALX(based in Korea), a subsidiary of AVEX from Japan. The oldest is 22 and the youngest is 18.

Cocona is the youngest but she "acts like an Unnie" She's got hip-hop in her blood. Since she was 13 Simon knew she was a prodigy that would be something the industry hadn't seen before. You haven't even started into their dance routines yet and everyone says they're basically a competitive level dance group that also sings, and raps. Any of these girls go to any other group and they are the main dancer. Coco and Jurin stand up there with the best dancers in the industry right now. This group just gets better the further you get into their fandom.

Xg is different
After 2NEI, Kpop girl groups all started to sound and look the same to me. Always the same recycled girl crush and bubblegum cutesy concepts. XG is different, and I'm so glad I discovered them. They are Japanese and don't identify as Kpop even though they promote out of Korea and speak fluent Korean. They are more like a gloabl girl group. They are absolutely top tier - vocals, rap, dance, even their style. They have definitely elevated my musical experience. Thanks for reacting to them!
Hello! A little info on XG for you. XG is a 7 member GLOBAL girl group. They are all Japanese (Harvey is half Australian and Hinata is half Korean i believe), but their company(XGALX) is based in Korea. It's sub label of AVEX Inc. which is Japanese company. They promote like K-Pop groups, but they are NOT K-pop. All their songs are in completely English, except some of their Cyphers. They can rap/sing in English, Japanese, and Korean. 4 main rappers and 3 vocalist but as time passes with each new release, it's 7 all rounders now haha If you would like to react to more please react to their XG Tapes. If you want to have a quick check on their dance performances, apart from the dance practices, the showcases are titled XG Moves. XG MOVE #1, #3, #4 are group performances while XG MOVE #2 are divided into 7 solo performances. XG MOVE #5 is a solo performance by the leader, Jurin.
The two songs you've reacted to don't got dance practices yet, so I'd recommend dance practices when you've reacted to more.
Just do XG first. Lots of good groups but they flew to the top very quickly

The choreo is not much...Girl, u should watch their dance performances, & their Move series (each of them dancing a different style - Cocona, your bias, will surely make u loose your marbles) In my opinion they're the best new group., with dancing skills on par to Itzi (which, in my opinion, is the best dancing group in kpop, although they're not kpop by any means) & 7 vocals out of this world. As previous comments stated, all of them are wonderful vocalists & dancers, 3 of them being exceptional, singers mainly and 4 rappers(although they can sing very good), the best girl rappers I've seen, on the same lvl, in terms of performance to american girl rappers, like Doja Cat. Their choreos are smthg unmatched by other girl groups, their style - unique & keept it in mind they're not from Korea either, only trained by a korean, after kpop methods (although their relationship with Simon - Jakops - their manager/producer, is smthg akin to a father/daughters relationship.
Also, u were right, Cocona made a real statement by shaving her head in the "Woke up" M/V, after being criticized online, for culture appropriation (by some black American idiots), because she wore braids in some of her appearances & dance practice (which is simply laughable , since she has the most respect & appreciation for the hip-hop & rap culture, as u will observe, if u continue down this rabbit hole)
