I got ratchet and Lifeline for about $80 with shipping. Ironhide is going for $100 or more on his own, and the 2 pack is going for $200 to $300 at least.
Just got these sets for my Earthrise Ironhide and Ratchet. These are definite must have upgrades. But, instead of taking off the side panels on Ratchet and Ironhide's legs for the sled, I used their original feet I replaced. I also managed a way to mount all the accessories in Robot Mode if you have limited shelf space.
Are you going to pick up the cannon and pistol sets for Ironhide and Ratchet that go with these? They came out right before the feet kits and are awesome. There was also a Ratchet red hand set but that is only if you want him with G1 colored hands.
The feet and "sheild" break it for me, the shoulder, Ironhide broken window and the lack of paint. The mold could've been master peice levels of good it just falls alittle short
Nonnef had also posted a tweet saying that they had been delaying the foot set for plastic color matching purposes, but there have been plastic shortages so he decided to release them anyway. Personally I'm okay with that, these feet actually look nice.
People will complain about the color matching for Ironhide as if the original figure doesn't have like 4 different colors of red on him. Hasbro couldn't even be arsed to do proper color matching for him.
@@ShinGallon I am aware. But I keep seeing people mentioning the colors not matching without also mentioning the fact that nonnef could not get the plastic necessary
So another upgrade i think youd be interested in is for kingdom tracks. Jrc design made parts to keep his leg panels in place. Ive bought some stuff from him and they all work well, and are very cheap. Just thought id let you know, since that issue on tracks really bugged you
@@marshmello2019-m6c well, remember seeing the Upcoming Studio Series 86 Coronation Starscream? He’s a repaint and slight remold of the Earthrise Starscream. So I’m hoping Hasbro can do that again with these guys.

A pity the tail lights had to be glued, I had the idea watching this that they were a bit hard to see and maybe a silver marker to color the red plastic behind them would make them pop a bit better.
Hasbro couldn't even be bothered to color-match Ironhide, why should I sweat an upgrade kit not? So I may need to order these, I can live without the sled parts but the wheels and feet are definite improvements. EDIT Yeah I went ahead and ordered the tires and feet upgrades for both. Between those and the red hand upgrades for Ratchet I also got from Nonnef they're both becoming quite expensive figures : P
Hey to however buys the upgrade kit for the feet watch when you attach the bumpers on the back of the feet. The hole they go in can Crack. It happened to the one I bought for Ratchet. My ironhide version seems to be OK so far though.
Forgive me if youve been asked this a billion times already but have you seen alienattacks crowbar, crankcase, and hound? They look absolutely incredible. I know you'll be getting them and cant wait for your review.
Siege Ratchet was at Walgreens; ER Ratchet was an Amazon on-set exclusive with an Arcee recolor as a Paradron medic named Lifeline. And ER Ironhide was another Amazon exclusive paired with ER Prowl.
I don't know how the packaging for those figures work but you might have accidentally missed the roofs in the packaging and threw them away, you might be able to contact Hasbro or something and see if you can buy roofs separately
Why do the hubs on these wheel kits look like crap? I love Nonnef's stuff but I've seen this on other Ratchet/Ironhide earth mode kits. Even if the hub has to be flat, you can at least sculpt a shallow hubcap and not what looks like a solid piece of sheet metal.
Surprises me how many upgrades there are for these guys considering nobody can get a hold of them.
There are probably more upgrade kits made than the actual figures itself

The feet fix is so easy, it's embarrassing that hasbro couldn't make new feet for the earthrise line.
They already remolded so much, it could of been a budget thing. They only get so much money to work with. Especially these days.

Ironhide is probably my second favorite character and Hasbro really did an injustice to him for Earthrise

for the cut marks try a transparent sharpie pen like on the read to mask the white spite .. you can also do it on the black part :D just use black :D

Tons of upgrades for the ironhide mold but no figures available anywhere.
A basic x-acto knife would really make your life much easier when you have to trim off little bits of plastic, or remove things from sprues.
I use nippers, an x-acto and a nail file to sand down sprue nubs. But then I put together model kits fairly often, so...
