When I bought my house, there was some stuff left in the attic. One was a box of very old records - 40's, 50's. Maybe even earlier, some of them. Went out and bought a very cheap, crappy player that could run 78's and have been giving them a listen. It's weird, I don't think anyone has listened to these things since the 60's at the latest but here I am. Listening to music 40 or 50 years older than my old self.
As you listen you can just imagine life in the 40s..the glitz and glamours of Hollywood, the pin up girl, Betty grable, the big band sounds of dorsey, Cole, Miller..great movies with bette Davis, myrna loy, James Stewart, bogart..I was born in the 60s, but my parents played the music and watched the show..and I been hooked ever since ❤️ 🎶✨️☺️
Thanks for creating these wonderful videos and nostalgic soundtracks. The music reminds me of my Grandmother's kitchen. She always played the radio with songs from earlier days. Bless you!
I’m just a 1-year-old tucked under my nanny’s quilt, and this soothing music is drifting up from downstairs. 🎶💤 It’s like a lullaby for my little world. 🥰
It's 5am in New York. Waaaaay past my bed time. Here I am enjoying and reminiscing. In my minds eye... I am a young girl watching my mother in her robe putting pin curls and wave clips in her hair. The bobby pins are in a fancy glass holder set in a gold filigree base with a glass top. It sits on a mirrored tray on her dresser. She is pleasantly humming along. I am looking at her black velvet pumps with peek a boo toes. They are below her black party dress. Her jewlery box that kept her rhinestone necklace and earrings smelled of her perfume. Her clutch hand bag held her fancy powder compact, gold metal tube of victory red lipstick, comb, hanky and a few party mints. Every now and then she'd say " that's such a nice number". Priceless memories that will always be locked in my heart. For you mom. And through a sentimental tear...I smile ~💝 Thank you for this beautiful and nostalgic content. 🎙🎶
Nowadays I wake up and play this playlist and do my morning routine of studying and reading Webtoons I just love the feeling it gives me when I hear like I'm living in that era💓 I must be getting old😂 but old is gold🤌

Whenever the family comes around, my younger cousins love to go into my vintage 1930s themed room after dinner and playing outside, and just listen to the music, which is pretty much similar to this. Vintage tunes they've never heard before playing calmly from either the radio or the record spinning in the corner. On my 19th birthday we sat in the room just talking and listening and a song called Rhythmic Dreams by Larry Gomar came on, and both of them at the same time said that they love this kind of music, asking me where to find it, and what its called. Just asking and saying so many positive things, saying "it's so calming just sitting in here", "i love your house" and "it's so cozy". When i tell you i held back tears of both joy and shock, it was so hard trying not to tear up about it. Because kids don't lie, they're blunt and very truth telling with almost anything, so to hear that about something i was made fun of for was so awesome!!! I love the fact that i'm creating these sort of memories that will be a positive part of their childhood, something so rare linked to a specific person you look up to creates a lasting memory imo! This video, i think, explains what these memories are like, their memories of playing with old nic-nacs around my room while this music plays, i reckon will last. Since my room is the only place they'll ever hear this specific kind of music. Even when i grow old i think i'll be the same, making similar memories for grandchildren that may be one day. Yk ur typical grandparent with the wacky style. I think that will be most of my generation, just wack grandparents, in a positive way i guess. Im rambling now, but making these memories just warms my heart, i just needed to say it. So thank you Lepreezy, for describing the exact feeling that my room gives off. Warm, cozy and so inviting!
How beautiful. I, too, still play this music. I grew up with it playing often in our home. Oh how I see my mother clearly in minds eye. My children especially my son must have paid attention when I didn't think they were. I told them stories and how things were during this era. Also about the great depression. My son as an adult must be an old soul. I hear him enjoying these beautiful melodies of days gone bye. * sigh*
I did at least get a chance to share stuff like this with my mom before her passing & while she could appreciate it & even tell me the original artists & sing out the lyrics to it.
I'm 17 again and it's 1987 and I'm listening to the Milkman's Matinee at WNEW AM New York. It was the overnight radio show on the greatest radio station ever. I was born an old soul and always loved this music even when it wasn't "cool!"
As I sat by the window on a rainy afternoon, the gentle BGM playing in the background created a serene atmosphere. Each note seemed to synchronize with the raindrops, transforming a simple moment into a peaceful retreat. It felt like the music was narrating the story of the rain, turning every drop into a note in a beautiful symphony."
as soon as i close my eyes while listening to this feels like medicine for lots of damaged life details and issues which can't be solved at this moment ..i do travel back to the days i was a little 3 years old kid

Just a question out of curiosity, why aren’t your older video publicly available anymore?
can you please make a video like this for billie eilish's latest album🙏🏻
Can you remove ads on some and mark them. I’m trying to fall asleep and ads keep waking me up.
