At $ 6.88 a gallon for gas here in California I cannot afford to fish anywhere but under the local bridges. This is the first year in a decade the local creek has not dried up during the summer and I am catching a lot of Bluegill and Catfish. There are a lot of Mullet too, Hundreds of Mullet. LOL.
Only you could catch a fish out of what seems to be nothing.😁😁 Really like the end of the video. Need to do more of your little fire side chats. Great content and tips for all ages. 👍👍👍

Good stuff John. I keep trying to get out. I've got one employee out on maternity leave and one out with a broken ankle. I had to absorb the work so I'm having to live vicariously through your channel for the time being. Can't wait to get back out but enjoying watching you reel em in until then. God bless brother.
Parting is such sweet sorrow. I fished my favorite shallow creek today. One tiny largemouth, one tiny smallmouth, and a beast of an 18" on a zman craw. Boy I had to work for them
Last place you caught the green sunfish I thought you were fishing on dry land that's a pretty good trick there. Nice video John! Got to appreciate effort that it takes to go some places.
Great video brother, seemed like a very organic Creek Fishing Adventures type. Yes this is the potluck dinner time of the year. We fished a river yesterday and pulled smallies and walleye from the same areas. Could have been catfish and pike floating a shiner minnow on a dead stick but not this time. Always keeps you on your toes. Blessings John
Been watching Joh's videos since some time in 2019. They are always enjoyable. His success couldn't have heppened to a better guy. He hasn't change a bit.

Very true. I've been fishing at a large local pond - alongside a highway here in Bixby OK. The temperature only hit 75 degrees this Friday. I only caught 3 small largemouth in 2.5 hours. They just aren't that active due to the colder weather. I'll probably put my fishing equipment up until next spring. Bummer!
Personally I think I'm going to go for sauger or go a bit north and go for trout I wanna keep fishing all year so if I have to go for other fish then bass I will
Watch your shows all the time. Lived all my life in Middle Georgia and Atlanta. Caught large mouth bass all my life with a PB of 8lb 4oz. Going to be in Pigon Forge on Oct 10th through 13th on the Little Pigon River and looking forward to landing my first small mouth. Keep up the good work you are doing.
Nice work out there! Fall fishing always becomes a different beast. Mostly small bluegills up here in NJ, though managed a small rock bass and small largemouth in a mill creek yesterday.
You need some extra tough boots I fish creeks here in Kentucky and they are great this time of year you can get through that shallow cold water without getting the feet wet also good for boats and kayaks love the videos. If you are ever in eastern Kentucky lmk I have some secret creek spots with nice smallies and spotted bass!!
I live in the area and have traveled those roads all my life. I've never thought about fishing the roadway creeks. Great video, enjoyed it. Congrats on 125k subs...
Certainly noticing it here in Ontario, Canada the creek fishing has slowed down a lot here. And many now have a closed season to protect the trout. Time to shift gears over to bottom feeders, walleye and steelhead for me. And hopefully a musky before it's too cold. Great video as always, looking forward to the next one!
Nice catches for cooling water, I was thinking that the Green Sunfish were shutting down. Time to pursue crappies. This is the time to use large minnows in search of PB Largemouth, but that is not exactly your style. However, with cooling, the trout might be turning on a little. Thanks John for sharing your adventures, I always enjoy your trials and tribulations. Stay Blessed.

go giant carp fishing - they are around - or do some fishing with live bluegill/big live baits - you never know what you will catch - go to those types of spots - the big floats are productive but you need the right river, and timing and weather etc - you will still catch some pb this fall - with some species - pick your spots

It's always a shame when the creeks shut down! It gets super slow around here starting the second week in October. Hey John, been a while since I've left a comment. My bad . This style of fishing is so much fun to watch. This was what you were doing when I first started following your videos.
