So, to get a full 100% table up and running I'll need XL CNC table plans; XL precut metal; XL 3d printed parts with 30$ upgrade and torch height controller? Am I missing anything minus the steel tubing? I have no previous table or equipment, as far as belts and computer components and drive motors. The stuff in the cart is around 655$
The plans and stuff should include the torch height controller Or if you mean to buy ready made stuff then yes. 650$ is nothing compared to the money you can make with the machine. Stuff you can sell etc
@jw200 according to his website the torch height controller is 160. Basically I am starting at ground zero, I have nothing. And was wondering if the plans spells out x, y, and z will have to be purchased off amazon or where ever
The plans have links to everything you need to make it all. Down to every bolt and washer. And then detailed instructions on how to build. Plus if your looking bigger than 4x4 table they have a calculator to give you exact sizes for tubing etc. I’ve got the plans and starting from scratch too
To get running you'll only need the plans. The 3D printed parts and steel plates are for if you can't make them yourself or for convenience. The drawings and files for them are in the plans.
Could you not just weld the gantry square and it would save it honing to square each time you use it?? I know if it’s not perfectly square then it possibly could bind on the runners but if you have it all together and squared it could I not just weld or well tacked in place
Looking good.
Have to start working on mine again.
I suck at handcutting.
Awesome work guys 👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome!
Is the autosquaring a function in FluidNC? Or something you guys designed?

When you made those final adjustments it was not clear what you were adjusting. Seemed like an important step to leave out.

Once it is square what would throw it out again?
Moving it. Knocking the frame. Depends how solidly it's bolted together.
