But many Indian Nationalists' narratives don not present the real picture behind the war of 1857, and why Punjab and its people, especially Sikhs supported their normally perceived archnemesis The British Empire just after 8 Years of Annexation of Punjab

Purbiya soldiers, mostly Hindus, in East India company formed the bulk of their army. They also helped British defeat marathas and Mysore and conquer India and Rajputs helped moghuls conquer India but they only call us Sikhs anti-national.
Yes true! In those days all armies were mercenaries. Maharaja Ranjit Singh armies had mainly Sikhs, Muslims and some from UP who were considered good soldiers! Also Nabha, Kapurthala Patiala were with Brits vs Ranjit Singh! Some of them supplied soldiers to Brits! There are allmkind of conspiracy theories popular to blame each other! I had written lot!

Good break down of the reasons behind Punjab's opposition to the 1857 mutiny. It is also worth mentioning that the Bombay army and Madras army stayed loyal to the Brits, only Bengal army mutinied (you did of course mention that the mutiny was confined to the cow belt).

Once the Sikhs lost to the British East India company they used their same playbook they used in colonies in Africa, North America etc of removing all chances of uprising by removing Sikh leaders which just left factions who chose based on their own accords. The Brits should have been dealt with as they touched Indian soil, India would have surpassed China and the USA by now

The muslim uprising wasn't only by kharals of jatki bar. Rather some kharal were traitors against the rebels and the fighters included many other clans like chadhars, siyals(mardana, faryana etc.), sipras, vehniwal, etc...

I am not sure if you watch the video properly. He talks about the hippocratic nature of all Indian soldiers religions and regions. Indian soldiers helped the EIC to take over Punjabi and then they wanted to take down the EIC and wanted Punjabi to help. Also mutiny was only in 3 states all other states were standing by the English.
