    Hi Devida, I do hope I spelt your name right. I made your breakfast sausage this morning, I have to say, yummy. I went for a walk, first in many years, I'm 72, and realised, hey I'm getting slack, do something girl or you are going to lose it. I went for an hour, and the thought of your breakfast sausage brought me home. It is endless what you could do with this recipe, my new fave. Glad I have found you. Only recently started plant based eating. I was surprised how easy it was. I suppose it is like that with everything in life, its easy if you really want it. This has been like a therapy session. Thank you darling girl, going to look at what is on the menu for tomorrows breakfast. Love and hugs comin your way. Sherie Rodrigues from Australia

    I just made a recipe I found on UA-cam for lentil patties but failed to turn out due to the binder I used which was Garbanzo & fava bean flour, However, what I ended up with was what appeared to be a cooked & browned ground beef. The deliciousness of it was astounding to me, SOOOOOOO lol I am gonna give this a try. I like the ingredients but am likely to use shitake mushrooms for the texture over the button mushrooms. If I can simulate the texture of meat & perhaps a slight resemblance of meat in flavour I will try anything so long as the ingredients are whole & doesnt have animal product in them. I am NOT vegan but I do love Vegan food. Thanks for the video, now I'm Hungry :D

    If an egg is unfertilised, is it vegan or not? My problem with veganism is how unrealistic it is - it’s a kind of middle class sorority chick cultural phenomenon. Having said that, I am vegan and as far from a sorority chick as you can get - but I am hoping you know what I mean!? Meat has always have been a luxury for common people. But eggs would have been imperative for us traditionally to survive during times of war & famine! I don’t eat eggs, but as a vegan I still feel strongly that unfertilised eggs could be acceptable!

    this seems like a stupid thing to ask but i never cooked with mushrooms until a few months ago... how the heck do you clean them???? lol i've been using a paper towel to wipe the dirt off but it takes absolutely forever so i barely buy them. there must be an easier way

    • @daretotrust6635
      @daretotrust6635  2 роки тому +1

      That's a great question 😆 I thought the same thing when I first began using them. Firstly, I ALWAYS by mushrooms organic. The texture is very soft and spongy, so pesticides will soak right in. I rinse them thoroughly with warm water making sure to get all the dirt off. One can easily mistake the skin of the mushroom to be dirty, but sometimes it's just how the skin looks. Just be sure to cook them well and you'll be fine. Then I dry lightly with a paper towel. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
