When I met her - when I asked her why she didn't have them longer she said I fix things myself; I play classical piano; I walks my dog; and I cook... She also said she couldn't type more than 50 words an hour with longer nails. She can type over 100 words per minute when she has her natural nails. lol I married her a year later and we're married for three years and things are going well...

A tiny bit of truth to it, you can to some extent tell what kind of person she might be. Especially the sharp ones I've observed that it is pretty common that she subconciously is carrying a metaphorical weapon to protect her emotional health. Not always, but I've seen it enough times to notice it. I've seen women that prefer using red often that has been "my way or the highway" type of girl with very sturdy opinions and ideas. I've seen muted colors on introverts such as myself with a personality that doesn't like attracting too much attention. I've seen girls that love bling that go all out artwork on her nails which kind of shows a lot of creativity in her life. I'm a tomboy so my nails are short and guy-like as well as unpainted and if I do wear color it is often earth tones or cool tones because I like nature and calm. Of course, like hair color it's just the flavor of the moment but personality does affect the decision so there is a speck of info you can get from nail choice.
