Title is wrong please mention US in description...
Right? Feel like the Arab Spring etc... had a bit more of an impact
Rioting and looting are not protests
@@davidcarbone3385 Augusto Pinochet. You forget who owns the capital building.
@@spenceraaron6137 Like all public buildings no one in particular does particularly not a Chilean dictator nor donald sore loser trump and his foolhardy worshippers.
that is not what is depicted here, tho.

You're amazing! I'm a history teacher and I was going to do this exact thing to give my students choice. Thank you for saving me a step!!!
The Montgomery Bus Boycott played a pivotal role in the Civil Rights Movement. It'd be cool to see the History Channel dedicate a video to covering the Montgomery Bus Boycott. That protest has an amazing story and holds a very important place in American History!
BLM are sadly Paid by an Evil Cabal all over the world! Indoctrination of you children from radical Un American Teachers and professors! The list goes on and on and Freedom living hard working God Fearing Patriots are NOT GOING TO SURRENDER OUR AMERICA TO YOU AND YOUR CORRUPT CABAL😡 GOD BLESS AMERICA!
@@sharonameskamp6893 While I agree with you about BLM, American History Geek wasn’t referring to them, the Montgomery Bus Boycott was a half century earlier.
@@sharonameskamp6893 who asked?
@@RobinP556, I get it. Just thought I would say this has been a plan for decades! This movement is nothing new to history. Just rearing it ugly head again👿
@@sharonameskamp6893 just say you hate black people and be open about it instead of being sneakily racist.
What about SNCC? The Students Nonviolent Coordinating Committee.
This is happend becouse of the good peopel, 🙏
Not the bad!!!!
Be strong all of you 🙏
Please I want you to write me down any three example 2:05 s of early protest movement
From Parkland shooting till now, no change
In US
Thank you!
I am thankful for protest or social movements but we need more consensus among Citizens and we need more leaders in/out of elected office to help build our country for the best. If we want to do better for our national influence abroad we must improve the lives of local citizens first.

Hi :)
How bout AIM(american indian movement)
This is a lovely video
This is title "Historic Protest Movements in Every Decade in USA".
Your channel is worldwide if you released "Historic Protest Movements in Every Decade in the World" , will get more views.
As an American company, I think they should do a video of both. 🤔🙂 ...But yes I agree they should alter the title to specify the United States. 👍
No LGBT+ movements?
There is a dumb March every 10 years

So people are just assuming that guns kill people? And not the fact that people kill people?
People kill people. Not guns. A gun is a tool. Just like a hammer or a nail gun. They can’t kill someone if it’s not being used by someone. It’s that simple.
Also people have a right to own guns.
I bring this up because I saw signs saying protect people not guns.
I may be misunderstanding that, so feel free to help me understand that better.
Especially after what the proagitators did during the Burn Loot Murder movements in 2020 🤦, and the newly reported 2000% homicide increase in Portland, Oregon.
I hate handguns, but all for people protecting themselves. 👍
A lot of people who are participating in protests revolving around guns believe more in gun control than getting rid of the completely.
@@haydenharris1275 "Gun control" as done by the government, is ultimately only about disarming law abiding citizens.
Criminals will get weapons no matter the law, that's why they're called law-breakers. 🤨 Something Leftists don't seem to understand, or want to realize.
Agreed. I have a number of guns that I keep loaded, and not a one of them has killed anyone. And before someone brings up, “what about the kids”, I’m single, have no kids and in the event that someone comes over and brings their kids they’re fully aware that I own and keep guns out, they let me know before they get here and I put everything in the safe. I don’t allow kids around my guns.
that sign was likely a call to action in regards to gun laws. Sure, guns are a 'tool', but are deadly ones in the wrong hands.
Let's be clear, America hates protest movements.
Rewtriting History Channel
Could you provide me with what was wrong or maybe some historically right wing social movements, just curious
I believe three families.
What about January 6th and the anti-mask protests?
Jan 6 was a fascist insurrection

?
I all so believe that their is a line in the bible youtube goes something like believle in him.
The title says “By the Decade” but that’s not the context. BLM and March for Our Lives are just 2 years apart with more and more of the BLM marchers realizing that they’ve been duped and are nothing but pawns working with a violent, terrorist movement. As for March for Our Lives, it’s about as “youth led” as the US Congress. Youth do most of the speaking but that’s not where the money and organization for these events come from.
I’m an historian, degree and all, I’m extremely disappointed in the so called “History Channel”.
as a fellow historian, go touch some grass and use the critical thinking skills your degree should have given you.
@@sophiew5117 If you’d like I could correct your poor punctuation, but your comment makes less sense than Fetterman’s speeches.
