Looks like Texas is going to have a really nice, mildly cold winter. So far, it's been a very calm fall with a little rain and beautiful days in the mid 80's with nights in the low 60's to high 50's. Steady moderate to heavy rain , and it’s an even better when it’s a several day event. Next to a massive , several day snowstorm/blizzard it’s the best possible weather .

Anything is possible with November coastal storms. In 2012, a couple of weeks after Sandy hit Long Island, That same area received 5 to 6 inches of snow. So I wouldn’t write off another storm like this. Unusual, yes but given the time of year, it can happen.

Seems outlandish but in 2018 southern NJ was predicted to have “flurries” a week before Thanksgiving… we got 5 inches of snow and it was freezing! So many people got into car accidents bc of of it (including me)
In Northeast PA today was our first rainy day in about a month if not longer. Happy we gotsomething, but it wasnt alot very light rain most of the time. We had a wildfire just 30mins away in blue mountain last week.

I don't mind winter as long as the temperatures are above zero and no snow. Growing up I loved the snow but now that I am older I can't take a chance of falling and breaking a bone.
Overall our Winter's will have much warmer than normal temperatures since this is the new normal. But every so often we will get a real blast of very cold air that will be just brief before it will warm up again.

I'll believe it when I feel and see it. In my 'hood, 6 weeks of 15-20 degrees above normal and no rain. Probably the most warmest fall in my lifetime.

Super Storm Sandy was shocking!!!!! Models in that same range predicted that storm but everyone ignored it until 48 hours out.

in my area in mass it was forcasted to be a rain storm but it was a huge ice storm that we had to have the army to help
