this definitely looks fun but what happens once you get the questions more than once, this definitely has the potential to be better than chameleon for sure but just that dreaded limit to play, there should be an expansion!
We've actually found that we have not recalled the all the answers to the questions after lots of play, especially when playing it with different groups :)
Only thing I’ve noticed is the answer cards. In this video it looks like all the humans had 3 cards A,B and C and the snakes had 4 answer cards A, B, C and the snake card. Wouldn’t it be a big give away then to the humans who the snakes are?
In a 4 player game, wouldn't everyone except the mongoose know who the snakes are? The human knows that the other 2 non-mongoose players are snakes, and the snakes know who the other snakes are.
Yeah, but it works! The human knows who the snakes are, and knows the snakes know the correct answer so it’s the snakes job to trick both the human and the mongoose. If the human gives away who the snakes are, they’re also giving points away. It makes it very strategic!
I love Big Potato Games, so please take this as purely a question. What is the point of the Mongoose? I assume it's to do with reducing the risk of a snake, but then why not just reduce the number of snakes? This seems to have similarities with Werewolf with characters to make the game more complex.
It's someone who you know isn't lying or has a secret agenda, kind of an anchor point to help the humans judge if they feel other players are lying or not.
So you don't vote the Snakesss out perse, but you can definitely call them out and warn the other players not to trust them! You get points based on how you answer the trivia questions - so if you get the answer right, and don't get tricked by the snakes, you score points. Hope this helps!
This game can’t have much replay ability. After a few games you will start seeing the same questions again and it makes the game pointless. I will Pass thanks.
We're sorry you feel that way. We've found that we've not recalled the questions after lots of play, especially when playing it with different groups :)
This looks fun I'm just worried about getting through the deck to quick.
The deck is pretty huge its like the size of 3 or 4 regular sized decks of cards
You could probably make your own questions to be honest

@@BigPotato makes sense lol, cool stuff
@@BigPotato I agree about that expansion, like at least a couple more 120 card decks, would make it suuuper replay-able and a lot more fun

You're supposed to give the humans a snake answer tile. They just can't play the snake answer tile.
In a 4 player game, wouldn't everyone except the mongoose know who the snakes are? The human knows that the other 2 non-mongoose players are snakes, and the snakes know who the other snakes are.
Yeah I'm confused about this but I think it works either without the mongoose or with one snake
I assume the amount of snakes changes depending on the amount of people playing
When I played with 4 people I did 3 ordinary humans and 1 snake

Can't WAIT!!
B+ video. Great game guys and gals! Maybe add more cameras and more graphs to video. Best wishes!
This looks so fun!!!
Thank you
My older brother got me this for my 17th birthday this year
The replay is to a limit after going through the Same question a few times, will there be an expansion pack for this in the future?
Thanks for the feedback, we'll pass your extension request on to the team!
Yah totally and even maybe blank cards to put our own truths or something like that
If I know someone is a Snake, what do I do? Can I vote them out? Call them out? If I'm wrong, do I lose points? If I'm right, do I get double?

I am slowly building my collection!
That's so exiting to hear!
got it for christmas and im sure I'll be the moderator. Wish me luck!
Just played it with some kids. they had a blast
@@GeeklingNo1 so glad to hear that!
Will this game ever be available in Europe?
(Italy, to be precise)
I can mail you one from america
I honestly don't get the point of the Mongoose of Truth. Wouldn't the game be more intense if no one at all knew who was trustworthy?
You can play without the mongoose if you like!
What happens when you know all the answers?
You can give your game to a friend who doesn't have such an amazing memory!
@@BigPotato 😂
So cool
Thank you!
But the moderator can’t actually play if they’re a human, right? Because they will know the right answer. 🤔
They flip the card with their eyes closed too
Big Potato Games are normally very good at original ideas, but this seems rather unoriginal.
We're sure you'll have lots of fun if you give it a try :)
