I'm sorry my hair stood on end when she read the descriptions WHY ARE THEY SO POWERFUL. These artworks really did resonate with me. Every single one of them. Please please never stop making art. You were born to create beautiful things. And you, too, are beautiful, inside and out. I know that self love can sometimes seem like a cheap facade of self convincing and insincere flattery, unattainable. It feels like lying to oneself. I always say love yourself to others, but I find it so incredibly hard to love myself. I interpret your artworks differently, according to my own personal experiences. For example, the artwork emerge. I see it as myself, and my relationship with self love. I would emerge into the light, the light being the crowd, public or other people and I would be an absolute light and motivation to others, telling them that we are beautiful and should love ourselves. Ive always been very confident when im with people and i radiate self love and confidence. But when I turn back into the darkness, alone with myself, and only myself, my bright facade fades into the same darkness and I struggle to practice what I preach in the light, I struggle to see good in myself. Mirror mirror also particularly speaks to me. I do struggle with body image and its something very real to me. I'm no where near overweight, nor do i have any disorders, I'm just unhappy with how I look. I scrutinize every part of myself and dissect everything about me under a microscope. I hold myself to standards so generalised by our society, but less so attainable or healthy. I know comparing myself to others will only hurt me and bring no benefits, but it's something I willingly put myself through every single day. I look in the mirror and I see imperfection, I see unsatisfaction, I see someone that's not enough, I see everything but what is actually there, its my reflection, its me. Even to myself, I become nothing more than a sculpture, an imperfect one that needs to be fixed. I fear instability, I fear the ugliness of truth, I fear death, I fear the unknown, I fear standards, I fear loss, I fear pain, I fear the very reason of my existence, I fear disappointment, I fear trust, I fear endings, I fear regrets, I fear. Yet I love. I love light, I love little things in life, I love imperfect perfections, I love friendship, I love the grand idea that we're all here for a reason, I love people, I love nature, I love animals, I love poetry, I love books, I love stars, I love art, I love words, I love beauty, I love birth, I love beginnings, I love skies, I love peace, I love kindness, I love hope, I love life. Its ok to be scared, lonely, scarred, honest, bare, ugly, fallen, weird, different, broken, we're all like that, because we have so much in us that makes up for all those. We all have light and dark in us, its which side we choose to act on that matters. Its what we leave behind that matters. Its what we do while were still here that matters. Our everyday choices in life lead us to where we were, where we are, and where we'll be, they matter. We matter. You matter. I matter.

Wow. All of your paragraphs were written wonderfully and have such powerful messages, but I found your last paragraph to be really beautiful and it really resonated with me. And I just wanted to let you know that :) Thanks for sharing that wonderful insight with me, and others, about our juxtaposed struggles and happiness. And how we have fear, pain, loneliness, and differences yet we also are beautiful, wonderfully created, smart, unique, and meaningful people and we can choose to focus on the goodness of life rather than the negativities that can sometimes distract, and act on the happiness of this life, even despite the hardships we will face. I will remember that as I go throughout my life, so thank you ✨💛
I haven't drawn in a long time, but when I get back into it I always go straight to drawing hands because they're easy. You can pose them anyway you want, you can keep still and it doesn't matter whether there are wrinkles or not. I'm trying to get back into my drawing. I am almost 60 years old. Very tired but motivated by youngsters like you.
Late reply but never in my life have I thought that I'll ever see the sentence "drawing hands because they're easy." Hands are nightmare for many people lmao
I could argue that I'm not a fan of describing visual work. Especially for the artist. But the only thing that matter is that she painted very sensible piece, and she got accepted at the school she wanted to go ! What a legend.
@@Soul-o4v I didn’t find it to be too wordy though she was using some “fancier” words. Which, in reality, are just more precise words. I am NOT invalidating, or saying it is untrue your comment! I’m just sharing my thoughts to give the opinions here more variety
Your use of words and emotion behind each painting gives so much purpose and life. I know you may not understand why you were accepted but you deserve this accomplishment!! Congratulations💕
9:54 my mouth dropped open when you explained the piece with the 5 hands that symbolize the 5 stages of grief. That is so thoughtful and creative! I love how all of your pieces have deep or hidden meanings :)
All I can say is WOW. At 17, I definitely had deep thoughts but could never know how to explain it so beautifully like you did. The work is incredible and deserves to be in museums all over the world!!!
Isn't art school supposed to be where you learn art? You look like you already graduated art school with a Masters just for your admission portfolio. Isn't that a bit fucked up? You already need to be almost a pro just to get a chance for art school
Yeah… I feel like the school focus more on other things than teaching you to paint. My university only have one required painting class for the studio art major… only 2 drawing classes, 1 sculpture, 1 ceramic, and 1 3D design course. You need to basically master all the basics and skills before coming in. Pretty disappointing but that’s reality. So I didn’t choose the fine art major. There’s no point.
No, art school is not meant to teach you how to hold a brush and learn what paint is. That's what high school is for. You need to learn more advanced techniques by yourself, or take a course early on. Anatomy can be studied from books, courses, photos of yourself, exhibitions like Body World as mentioned in the video, UA-cam channels etc. etc. etc. Art school is there to teach you concepts, different ways of thinking, history, advanced techniques directly from people in the industry, how to determine your audience and connect with them and more. You will then proceed to put these to use in the real world by working together with businesses and combining your skills with people from other backgrounds (like 3D, sculpters, videographers and photographers, designers).
@@RacingPepe I'm sorry I can understand you shouldn't be a complete beginner at art. But this girl's art literally looks like she's already an established painter that has a career selling her work in upstate NY for 10+ years. That's literally her level. If this is the entry level for an art degree, that's ridiculous. You have to agree with that.
@Laaiba Again, getting straight A's for a master's isn't the same as already being an established artist when entering art school. You must be good, sure, but this girl literally doesn't need to go to art school anymore. That's her level. Idk man just be happy with your overly competitive society in the US but it's ridiculous. In my country (the Netherlands) ALL the universities in our country we have here are Ivy League level (top 100 world univiersity) and it costs us barely anything to study and we don't have that ridiculous competitive society bullshit. You're getting played by your capitalist system thinking you're "good enough" by ruining your mental life trying to belong to the 1% percentile and paying your ass off while really not getting enough returns later in your life.
@@BuzziMuzzi Her work is almost exclusively realism. Sure it's good, but she even stated herself it's not well rounded and learning more styles is something art school teaches. Art institutes are again, not about teaching you how to paint. You should be really decent at painting/drawing/whatever medium you're wanting to major in. It also shows in your work how much time you dedicate to the craft and how serious you are about it. Art school is just to fine tune your craft, help you branch out in concepts and mediums, and to get you connected with making a name for yourself if you haven't already. She also stated she's doing a double major, with something not even related to art. Lots of schools accept much less than this.
the way she presents it was pure, like genuine and authentic she doesn't try to flex or do in a subtle way Idk. I like how she analyse her artworks and everything is non questionably .... undescribable
Choosing hands as your concentration displays your boldness and your willingness to tackle any challenge. You went for hands before they went for you and I admire that choice. I’m 36 and still try to avoid painting hands if I can.
“Feel” should be in an art exhibit. Stunning. Beautifully executed and the description made it all the better. If I were wondering through an art gallery, as someone with no knowledge of art whatsoever, this one would be the one that I stare at for 20 minutes, contemplating the meaning of life.
Girl, you should make this into a book!!. I'd buy it and I'm sure many others woud too. The paintings AND descriptions are really beautiful, no wonder you got accepted. AWESOME
honestly i don't think it matters if you "bs'ed" the descriptions because you still came up with them in the context of the paintings that you made. they're still your thoughts even though the paintings may not have been created with them in mind.
Excuse me but your portfolio is a masterpiece. I'm an anime artist so I'm never into paintings and you're the first one to introduce me to the term of "visual arts". Your descriptions are captivating it's almost addictive to listen to and the art accompanying it so mesmerizing. They're so unique and captivating I find myself guessing what it's about and making my own interpretations. This whole vid is so informative, addictive and mind-blowing. I can't.
ngl u can call me dramatic or something but i cried watching this lmaoooo, it just hits me how art can actually speak a lot of language with no barrier in it. The way you describe it, the way you chose your wording and lines, and strokes of paint, it just touched me. Im in an artblock rn and idk if its totally ok for me to continue on this path. Your portofolio blew my mind, you are amazing.
I can’t believe you hate the piece “mother”. It captures a feeling I’ve never seen visually presented before. It was the most impacted I’ve ever felt by a piece of art
As you explain the meaning and emotions behind each painting, my admiration of them increases tenfold. Understanding the artist behind the painting is as important as the painting itself. btw I'm sure I don't need to tell you how talented you are ;)
I'm not an artist nor a high school student, I just stumbled upon your video, but wow. I don't often hear (visual?) artists talking about their own pieces and it was really fascinating to hear about what you wanted to portray in your art and see how you achieved it. Amazing work!!
First of all, congratulations on all of your hard work. You definitely are deserving of all of the awards and achievement you have received, but you actually deserve so much more beyond titles like these. In line with your own words, I hope you yourself are proud of what you have done. Before you even shared about your struggles with perfectionism, I could sense that you struggled with this, just with how you negated and criticized your work at every turn. I know this is also to not come across as too full of yourself; we are conditioned to be humble and really degrade ourselves, but it's perhaps also so you genuinely don't make it seem like you think you are better than others. But still, I could sense that these are likely the kinds of voices in your own head. To anyone struggling with this, like her, like me, this is just another reminder to be kind to yourself. Yes, it is easier said than done, and I know you already know this. But perhaps hearing it from others will encourage it just a little. Yes, descriptions, and essays to colleges you didn't even intend on attending do require bullshitting, but it is evident that you have invested into your pieces a great deal of thought, and that consciously or unconsciously, they are products, representations of your introspection and thought. In other words, it isn't just fluff! I see that, others see that, whether people connect to it by seeing your pieces or by hearing your articulate words. Rather than negating yourself by saying it is bullshit, rather than setting up even more roadblocks for yourself, let's be more open and encouraging to these vulnerable thoughts, they are really valuable! The words capture the thoughtful insights at the core of your works, and these are so pricelessly precious. Even if you don't like the pieces now, they are a valuable display of your progress as an artist and a human. This is directed toward Jackie, and maybe really toward myself, but to anyone identifying with this, it's really ok to feel good about yourself for a few moments, at any stage you are at :-)
I feel like it's a shame you hate all those paintings when so many people feel amazed and inspired by them. Maybe if you try to view them through our eyes, as not just a result of your efforts, but as a piece of art - it could help you accept them? And don't be afraid to be sincere. Even if you think your descriptions are bs or extra, you can scroll down and see that many people were moved by them; I personally think they added a lot to the paintings. I love your art and I hope you can love it as well.
I think many artists dislike their drawings because theyre tired of looking at them, since the process takes so long I love this artist's paintings (: her analysis on her own work was also very insightful
A lot of artists get used to their pieces while they create them and end up normalising them, and when they're done end up either hating it or change things because its not the "extraordinary piece" they initially wanted to create
Thank you for the art Exhibition. I honestly feel like needed to pay for it. To be honest, the paintings look very beautiful. But the description was just breath taking. The depth of emotions display how unique each painting is and that they are truly yours.
Not only is your art absolutely gorgeous, but the way you can put meaning behind it using the most unoticeable at first glance details is amazing. You have such a way of words, so much for me to envy.
Another thing I noticed is I love how your swooshy voidy strokes don't look like smudged brush strokes. They look like swirls that I thought could only be achieved by digital art.
i was expecting great art, but this highly exceeded my expectations. you've inspired me to take a step further with my own art. also, the meaning and descriptions behind them make them all the more powerful and personal. just wow.
I have no actual understanding of art, except that it looks beautiful and makes me feel things I haven't felt before. but the description for each piece? incredible. you said that its not that deep, and that it was you being extra, but genuinely, each explanation was so well crafted. I loved listening to them.
im a first year art student this year, seeing your works have inspired me even more in improving my own style and giving more of my creativity in every art i make. i admire you so much and i love all of your works!
I don’t consider myself super well-versed in art at all but every single one of your pieces was so profoundly beautiful. And every one of your descriptions made me fall even more in love with it in a way that doesn’t seem like a big sudden leap to make it seem more profound, but simply contextualise it in reference to your life and experiences. You are so talented and I’m so glad that this video popped up on my timeline. Limbo is a painting that will stay with me for a long time!
I love how she can self reflect and express it through her amazing art. While I can't even figure out the source of my self issues, most especially expressing it beautifully through deep art.
This video single-handedly gave me the motivation to work on my college portfolio that I’ve been putting of for months. Your work is stunning. Thank you :)
You’re like a total genius artist. I love your presentation in description for all your art. That’s impressive. Your work speaks for itself if I may add.
I think your work is strong, especially for the age you did this. I have seen FAR worse portfolios get students accepted into for-profit art schools. (Myself included) I know it probably feels impossible to see your old work as “good”, but that just means you’re improving. While your work is strong, I can’t disagree with a lot of your criticism of your work. There are some technical issues (mostly with perspective or anatomy, not that I’m a master or anything, that stuff is just hard), but they’re honestly pretty minor looking at how successful the pieces are over-all. I think the reason these were accepted has less to do with your technical artistic proficiency, and more to do with EVERYTHING else about your art. There’s so much intention and meaning behind these, I was genuinely impressed by basically every piece, and how moving each one is. The hidden meanings are so juicy once you discover them. Love the stages of anger expressed through hands btw, I might try that :) See, THAT is what’s special about your art, you have the ability to move people. With continued practice over time, your ability will keep getting better and better, and be able to articulate, capture, and express even more complex, intangible feelings through art. (Not that you need it lol, seriously your old work is already great!) Godspeed!
Your paintings are so beautiful. I feel like what makes you stand out even more though is those descriptions. I get that art is subjective, I should see it in my own eyes, but hearing how you describe each piece is fascinating!!
Wow, the way you write your art descriptions is really impressive and amazing. I'm kinda envious since I was literally in awe when I heard your descriptions. I always strive to get better with words and your writing stlye is a prime example of what I want to achieve someday. And, the artworks were amazing as well! I was impressed by each and every one of them. Great job!
The assignment part written response literally made me pause the video and bawl. I cannot comprehend what just happened. Also, your paintings are fucking beautiful, all this hard work really paid off, I am so proud of you internet stranger.
All of your paintings are stunning, but I can't get past the 'mother' piece. I saw it on tik tok a while ago and never looked further into it. It is such a beautiful piece.
This helped a lot! I really enjoyed learning about your experiences and thought process and most of all, I enjoyed the artwork!! There isn't a lot of information out there to help people go though the process of making an art portfolio or try out for schools, which is exactly what I was looking for. Your videos are really good quality, and help me know what to expect. Thanks so much for posting!!
Wow, those descriptions did not feel forced or bs at all! First off , I didn’t know a senior in HS could have such a massive vocabulary! The description gave so much insight into your personal understanding of the social , psychological and emotional themes in your art. It’s a special talent to be able to convey sociological or emotional themes in art and do the “holding up a mirror to society” thing. It’s an entirely different kind of talent to be able to describe that theme in the way you did ! Your paintings and written word are equally works of art! 👏🏽 👏🏽👏🏽 I especially love how your “Fox eye” and “enemy” pieces were not meant to go together but together they look like a distorted face and the hand in both fit together perfectly ,
I love each and every one of your pieces, because not only are they created beautifully (technically and uniquely) but because each has a message and/or story to tell. I think a lot of artists get to caught up in making their pieces 'overly' rendered- focusing only on their technical skills rather than their creative skills. Of course, that doesn't mean you shouldn't include works that exemplify your technical skills! Just don't make 'technical skills' the central idea of your portfolio, if that makes sense!
A perfectionist recognizes another, you criticize your work so much that make me think of my own self. You are a true artist, you can put your feelings in your drawings, you are extremely talented, I hope one day you can see your true self without the criticism, you are amazing, and there are very few artists like you out there. Edit: I searched the meaning of the word “talent” in English (not my native language), and it means someone that has born with a certain skill. At my native language “talento” means working hard and training to acquire an certain skill. Therefore, she is not talented. But has “talento”, which means she worked really hard for getting where she is.

7:42 the description ran chills down my spine, especially at the ending "hope." You're so skilled in portraying emotions, and I could only hope that one day, I, too, could create art that inspires others, just like how you inspired me with that one painting
You didn't like your painting, "control freak"??!??!?!? It was actually my most favourite and as you went on to elucidate the idea behind it, my admiration for it increased tenfold! Brilliant work! All of them were spectacular and your ideas behind them and the complexity of your thoughts and the expression of them is just splendid!!! Keep going!!!!!
i love your art style SO MUCH!!! not only that your responses are so well-articulated and thought-provoking. you totally deserved to get into those schools
You are too humble. BE PROUD! Thank you for showing me I have to work more though because I can see all the grit and thought and technicality behind every piece that is so beautiful! I want to go to RISD for graphic design and even if this is painting this showed a ton. Thank you!
Everybody here talks about how amazing her paintings are, and how talented and skilled she is, but I just want to outline how wise and observant this artist is 💙
It's so interesting how you included only paintings, prominently hands and lilac but I think your views on life itself with your commentary and intention you put into each piece is what got you in, you seem like you know exactly what you're doing and everything you do is intentional and yet you still show vulnerability and relatability. I clicked on this because of the glove hands, I thought that was such a good piece and honestly evaded this video for almost a year because I was jealous, jealous that I didn't come up with that idea and I didn't want to see your video because I made up my mind that you would just make me feel insecure in my work, but after watching this I feel empowered, inspired, reassured, all feelings I didn't think I was gonna feel, I don't do impressionism, never have, it's not my way, we aren't the same and I'm not thriving to be like you, art has so many ways, I remember my brother in law telling me "don't you think that the market is already too saturated?"he sells trucks and I wanted to do tattoos, and I asked him how many trucks he owns; as long as people have eyes, ears and skin, they will enjoy art weather they see, hear or feel it, you need just one of those thinks to enjoy art, but you need all of them and a license to drive a truck. Congrats on getting accepted!

Our everyday choices in life lead us to where we were, where we are, and where we'll be, they matter. We matter. You matter. I matter.
Just a glance it feels like a tiresome read ,but as I go through It ,I feel a little bit more essence of life in me.

Wow. All of your paragraphs were written wonderfully and have such powerful messages, but I found your last paragraph to be really beautiful and it really resonated with me. And I just wanted to let you know that :)
Thanks for sharing that wonderful insight with me, and others, about our juxtaposed struggles and happiness. I will remember that as I go throughout my life, so thank you ✨💛
If this is mediocre, my art is kindergarten level.
My art (if I ever try to draw or paint) would be fetus level then.
My art has still not been produced by the gonads.
Mine would be zygote level then
if there is level below that then thats me XD
Mine would be germ cell level then
I haven't drawn in a long time, but when I get back into it I always go straight to drawing hands because they're easy. You can pose them anyway you want, you can keep still and it doesn't matter whether there are wrinkles or not. I'm trying to get back into my drawing. I am almost 60 years old. Very tired but motivated by youngsters like you.
Keep it up!
Seeing someone say drawing hands is easy breaks my soul
Late reply but never in my life have I thought that I'll ever see the sentence "drawing hands because they're easy."
Hands are nightmare for many people lmao
@@bookbutterfly6613 right lmao 😭 I feel so...
Damn can we talk about her statement of each piece...they are so professional! And the artworks are beautiful 🤍🤍🤍
To be honest we need to congratulate the art school for getting an amazing artist like you.
Yes I agree
Your use of words and emotion behind each painting gives so much purpose and life. I know you may not understand why you were accepted but you deserve this accomplishment!! Congratulations💕
thank you so so much 🥺💕
9:54 my mouth dropped open when you explained the piece with the 5 hands that symbolize the 5 stages of grief. That is so thoughtful and creative! I love how all of your pieces have deep or hidden meanings :)
These are insane, even the one that you made as a 15yo
All I can say is WOW. At 17, I definitely had deep thoughts but could never know how to explain it so beautifully like you did. The work is incredible and deserves to be in museums all over the world!!!
These are absolutely incredible. You definitely deserve your admission and congrats!

Literally all her statements gave me chills
I'm not even planning to hand in a portfolio anywhere but still found this highly informative and entertaining lmao
I like how she analyse her artworks and everything is non questionably .... undescribable
in absolute awe -- u r so incredibly talented !! loved every second
HOLY SHIT I LOVE U THANK U SO MUCH
Choosing hands as your concentration displays your boldness and your willingness to tackle any challenge. You went for hands before they went for you and I admire that choice. I’m 36 and still try to avoid painting hands if I can.
I do not know why, but your work really inspires me.
that means so much to me ❤️❤️❤️
“Feel” should be in an art exhibit.
AWESOME
Truly, this whole video is just bautiful, so touching and inspiring. I'd probably keep thinking about it for a really long time.
Loved the originalitty of the 5 stages of grief painting, is really creative and conveys very well the message and emotions
honestly i don't think it matters if you "bs'ed" the descriptions because you still came up with them in the context of the paintings that you made. they're still your thoughts even though the paintings may not have been created with them in mind.
I can't.
ngl u can call me dramatic or something but i cried watching this lmaoooo,
it just hits me how art can actually speak a lot of language with no barrier in it. The way you describe it, the way you chose your wording and lines, and strokes of paint, it just touched me.
Im in an artblock rn and idk if its totally ok for me to continue on this path. Your portofolio blew my mind, you are amazing.
i dropped a few tears and got goosebumps too hahaha
i hope u continue. although art block can be stressful and terrible in general, you will get out of it.

I can’t believe you hate the piece “mother”. It captures a feeling I’ve never seen visually presented before. It was the most impacted I’ve ever felt by a piece of art
As you explain the meaning and emotions behind each painting, my admiration of them increases tenfold. Understanding the artist behind the painting is as important as the painting itself. btw I'm sure I don't need to tell you how talented you are ;)
I watch these type of vids every year as if I’ll ever go to art school.
Your art is STUNNING. As someone who is suffering from art block atm, the amount of inspiration to draw your pieces give me is insane omg-
I'm not an artist nor a high school student, I just stumbled upon your video, but wow. I don't often hear (visual?) artists talking about their own pieces and it was really fascinating to hear about what you wanted to portray in your art and see how you achieved it. Amazing work!!
:O STUNNING. the way she uses her words, colours and emotion to formulate such elegant descriptions and artworks !!!!
Literally
This is directed toward Jackie, and maybe really toward myself, but to anyone identifying with this, it's really ok to feel good about yourself for a few moments, at any stage you are at :-)
thank you so so much for this. you are truly so kind ❤️
I think many artists dislike their drawings because theyre tired of looking at them, since the process takes so long
I love this artist's paintings (: her analysis on her own work was also very insightful
A lot of artists get used to their pieces while they create them and end up normalising them, and when they're done end up either hating it or change things because its not the "extraordinary piece" they initially wanted to create
omg please don't feel shy to talk highly of your talent like this is not??? average??? at all?? SHOW IT OFF SIS YOU'RE SO GOOD THIS IS AMAZING
right??
I think you got accepted because of those descriptions!!! You’re an amazing writer, really good at composing a narrative to match your art
Thank you for the art Exhibition. I honestly feel like needed to pay for it. To be honest, the paintings look very beautiful. But the description was just breath taking. The depth of emotions display how unique each painting is and that they are truly yours.
15:59 is one of the most stunning art pieces i have ever laid my eyes upon.
Honestly with a talent like that, any art school is going to want this young lady.
Limbo is a painting that will stay with me for a long time!
the brush strokes are just so satisfying

19:06 portfolio recap and outro
Your understanding of color is so complicated and beautiful.
GIRL, your work is so good. I can only hope to be as skilled as you are now in the next, like ten years.
This video single-handedly gave me the motivation to work on my college portfolio that I’ve been putting of for months. Your work is stunning. Thank you :)
that means so so much to me omg 🥺 GOOD LUCK YOU GOT THIS!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Girl, This ain't mediocre at all, this is literally top quality, i loved that pentaptic Of feels, that was my favourite, you did a great job!
these statements sound so sophisticated, id listen to them for hours xD
You’re like a total genius artist. I love your presentation in description for all your art. That’s impressive. Your work speaks for itself if I may add.
She literally hated the best arts i've ever seen.💀
@Laaiba I hope that too their pieces are amazing!!
Most artist hate their work it fuels us to be better
Love the stages of anger expressed through hands btw, I might try that :)
See, THAT is what’s special about your art, you have the ability to move people. With continued practice over time, your ability will keep getting better and better, and be able to articulate, capture, and express even more complex, intangible feelings through art. (Not that you need it lol, seriously your old work is already great!)
Godspeed!
Your paintings are so beautiful. I feel like what makes you stand out even more though is those descriptions. I get that art is subjective, I should see it in my own eyes, but hearing how you describe each piece is fascinating!!
If you had an exhibit or a museum..I'd go. Especially to read those beautiful descriptions which brings new meaning and perspective to each piece!
The fox eye one was so strong and personal, I’ve never truly experienced racism but it hit so hard😭😭 girl you deserve every acceptance you got
it also just looks so incredible😭😭like the eyes look amazing
Amazing work!
Also, your paintings are fucking beautiful, all this hard work really paid off, I am so proud of you internet stranger.
this video literally is making me want to go grab my paint and get started omg I've never felt this passionate about art before.

All of your paintings are stunning, but I can't get past the 'mother' piece. I saw it on tik tok a while ago and never looked further into it. It is such a beautiful piece.
I literally don’t know how to put into words how impressed I am
these girls are like going to college showing these incredible paintings while we go to college to be able to do atleast half of what she did.
When she said I made it when I was 15 my motivation Disappeared from this world
lmao same im 15
Wow, those descriptions did not feel forced or bs at all!
First off , I didn’t know a senior in HS could have such a massive vocabulary!
The description gave so much insight into your personal understanding of the social , psychological and emotional themes in your art.
It’s a special talent to be able to convey sociological or emotional themes in art and do the “holding up a mirror to society” thing.
It’s an entirely different kind of talent to be able to describe that theme in the way you did !
Your paintings and written word are equally works of art! 👏🏽 👏🏽👏🏽
I especially love how your “Fox eye” and “enemy” pieces were not meant to go together but together they look like a distorted face and the hand in both fit together perfectly ,
I love each and every one of your pieces, because not only are they created beautifully (technically and uniquely) but because each has a message and/or story to tell.
A true artist. Your works and words are captivating and so human. They are masterpieces
This is some of the most incredible art I have ever seen, you will be a famous artist one day
*"eye of the storm"* literally gave me goosebumps just by looking at it i-
A perfectionist recognizes another, you criticize your work so much that make me think of my own self.
I dont know how I ended up here, but I'm glad I clicked on it. Amazing masterpieces and the descriptions and intentions behind it. You are amazing!

‘Mediocre’ honey if that’s mediocre then all art I’ve ever seen before is trash, don’t doubt yourself the entire portfolio is so amazing you are extremely talented
this makes me realize how I'm just a piece of plastic on the ocean, but also inspired me to practice drawing at the same time. You're amazing!

You are my inspiration, I haven’t painted in two years due to depression that caused emptiness and lack of interest...when watching your portfolio video, I was mesmerized, I think I want to hold the brush again✨
