Some context behind each part:
"Memories":
Probably the one that is the most important to me individually. The two players mentioned in that part of the video are the two players i interacted with the most in my bdo time, they were a big reason why i could easily progress in the game, duo grinding with them, sharing with them updates related to bdo on a daily basis... seeing them leave the game (or in mercers case, not playing the game a lot anymore) does hurt me and my own experience with bdo. progressing becomes harder, grind becomes solo content... and the distance towards the goals i set up for myself become seemingly unreachable.
even tho i can imagine many people watching this video cant relate to this part of the video, maybe even asked themself "why is that part of the video?" - it had to be in there. when i look back on my "Fallengod Journey", i wanna also look back at the time i spent with my friends. and while i (for obvious reason) couldnt include clips of tons of memorable moments shared with them, i had to include atleast those couple ones i did had, for the sake of keeping them forever :)
"Progress":
This one is quite obvious i guess. i thought about showing off my progress from grinding through this part of the video. additionally, i wanted to make a little transition type of thing from one of my favourite grind spots (Hexe) that became a off-meta spot into the new (current) meta spots Thornwood, Ash Forest, Oluns Valley and Crypt of Resting Thoughts. i had quite a few more clips (probably 100+) that i could add in here, but it already felt stacked enough, so i just didnt bother adding any more :D
"The End":
This one obviously was the one i was looking for the most, i worked like 5 months on this goal of preordering the helmet in the end, and naturally the video editing was supposed to end up with this one big ending... and then i just get cucked. ahhhh yea idk - it kinda made me lose all my motivation to edit this video any longer and i just wanted to finish it, despite knowing that i might not meet certain peoples expectations. if i couldnt meet them, im sorry^^
"Reaction to the Labreska Preorder & other talk"
43min long video i made in the past 2 days. it is supposed to show me (and my feelings/reaction) on the morning of the labreska listing (live talk), aswell as explains everything related to why the owner of the helmet (Reddit) sold the item, if it was RMT and so on. it is supposed to let all those rumors going around disappear by showing the actual truth behind a rare listing of a obliterating labreska helmet.
it also talks about who actually ended up getting the helmet, so if u wanna hear more about that person, all i know about him is also in that video.
damn, the fact that you grinded and saved up for the pen labreska and pushed the max price to the ceiling as much as you could with as much motivation as you could muster, that's a crazy amount of dedication and commitment. You are amazing, the ending wasn't a let down or a disappointment for me, it was sad but it was a thrilling and emotional story
im happy to hear that u can accept this outcome of the video. i honestly dont know what i imagined how ppl would think about the ending. it just really disappointed myself, especially because i know how it could have looked like instead if i would have won the preorder... and that disappointment in myself probably just reflected to "what will others think about the ending now?" ... im sure i still disappoint a bunch of people with such an unsatifying ending (all that build up for nothing) - but hearing that a majority of the viewers also enjoyed it and are supportive is really nice to hear ! thanks for that :D
@@leduckbdo8042brother I think no one in their adequate mind would think of this as a negative ending. People who value their effort in anything they do will most certainly be compassionate about the outcome you had. Yes, it’s really REALLY sad you didn’t get it but for a viewer to think “goddamn I’m so disappointed (i.e. I wasn’t entertained enough” is completely toxic and inhuman. You’ve exceeded yours and everyone’s expectations.

I feel you brother, I had some guildmates leave and go to a PvP guild. Now when I log on BDO I just sit in the town for a while before logging off. The friends you make in the game are what make MMO's so special. Hoping one day I find a way to recreate that magic that had me excited to grind endless mobs again. thank you ! glad u liked it, it was my full intention to tell a little story in the video, and how much those moments actually mean to me. im a sentimental person when it comes to that and have difficult times just moving on from past (better) days, which eventually drag down my motivation to play the game. having them memorized forever in my fallengod journey videos atleast gives me the option to now move on, knowing i can always look back and pull up this video, remembering how much fun i had in the past. and if by any chance my friends decide to come back and play more again, i will take them gladly again to be part of my adventures in bdo :D

Your hard work is an inspiration, I find myself opposite of you though. I feel discouraged in group pve and found my stride min maxing solo zones. Either way the path of enhancement has more downs than up and what you have endured will be a light to keep my head up.
yea i can see that. solo content is a big part people do love in bdo. i dont expect bdo to do a 180° and make every spot party content, but i think a better ratio of party:solo content should be given. maybe 2:3 could be a good mix. many people prob dislike party content because they never experienced it and only see the obvious downsides of it compared to just minding ur own buisness and solo grinding ... but there is so much more PA could come up for party content. but then again... im just a dreamer ...

I’m REALLY REALLY looking forward for the come back. U gonna get it no worries. I really feehl u when friends quit the game it’s just not the same. My friends quit in 2020 and since then I just float around in guilds and it’s just kinda boring. Now with the removal of open world pvp and other bad changes I am just running in circles for the sake of running in circles I guess.
yea - idk how it started for me, since i kinda split off with the friends i started playing the game with in an instant (we chose diffrent paths on how to approach the game). i found my bdo-friends through the journey of progression in bdo, that of course meant from grindsessions but also from guild activities. but as u say urself, pvp is dying, in general (maybe thats just me) (pvp-)guilds these days arent as close as they used to be in the past, im having difficult times finding new people i want to enjoy my playtime with. and through pve that isnt really possible either since im already at the end of my gear journey.
maybe i join some random atoraxxion run once in a while, but then again, do i want "chaos" and a "waste of time" 9 out of the 10 times i do this, just to maybe find 1 party that i enjoy running the doungen with? i dont know. :)
for now its break time tho :D
@@leduckbdo8042 people don’t need to be close because there is nothing to be close for. Back in the days we had enemies at Kutum who will feed you till Kutum gets overweight or u needed friends for grinding high demand spots like Sausans bc if not u got spawn killed till u log off. U needed friends and ppl who can fight back with u. I also made most of my friends in game but with worse and worse pvp and less and less pvp the started to stop logging in.
That’s just my perspective. This game needs open world guild drama as this is the biggest “content” in the game. It’s PAs responsibility to balance the grind spots so people with approximately same gear levels clash Into each other. I get griefd a lot nowadays outside of arsha so I just report them bc that’s BDO pvp in 2024

Watching what you've accomplished made me realize I will never get there with the amount of time I sink into the game (2-3hrs/day) and therefore, what is the point of playing anyway?
my way of playing the game is to always try to be efficent in working towards my goals. loadingscreens, strange dailys and all of those things are things i try to avoid. in the past i was very strict with myself doing exactly that. which meant 5-6 hrs of daily playtime actually were 4.5-5.5 hrs of grindtime. nowdays im just starting to take it easy and beside activly sitting here now, i dont think i actually grind more then 2-3 hrs/day myself anymore. there are actually countless days in which i dont grind a single hour in bdo.
i can only suggest to play at ur own speed, create reasonable goals for urself and always try to have fun playing the game. if u dont enjoy the game, log off and do something else. this game doesn't have anything waiting for u in the endgame, the road towards the endgame is supposed to be the fun part. enjoy the journey :)

hmm i dont really pay attention what server i use when i click stuff... i do have my personal tinfoil of having to go onto a large failstreak first (the bigger, the better) before clicking something expensive that i actually want... but that only works half of the time (maybe because i force it to often lately haha). so yea nothing really u can do to predict a better outcome for urself

can you pls make a guide how to make alchemy stone ?
hmmm... u can either click them from polished onwards... or u buy Sharps off the market. for protection that is doable because those sit on the markt, but a yellow splendid protection costs like 400bil if u buy sharp (yellow grade) from the market, u save time tho because u dont need to click a lot. clicking from polished onwards costs much less (i think was like 130bil) but u spend an absurd amount of time clicking alchemy stones which is probably the most boring content in bdo... so yea...
the last option i personally enjoyed doing was to buy sharp protection stone on blue grade... those are much cheaper then the yellow ones and have a tiny bit higher chance to succeed. u most likely will end up on a blue grade splendid protection that way, but if u play a class like shai u probably dont care to much about the missing resistance from the stone (u do lose the cup +dp upgrade aswell tho which is painful)... but overall u wont pay to much for it on average luck, maybe 100-150bil.
no matter what u do, it would still require preordering the stones and waiting for them to fill up... its a tedious process which is not fun to work on, thats all i can say about this.

It is always random if its at maximum price. 2 orders or 1 million orders, it will be random.
what he said, and additionally to that, every item that goes into the listing queue (15minutes queue time before it pops up on the market) will always be randomized sold if there are more then 1 order on the price it got listed for.
To add even more confusion if a pearl item is listed it is also always random even if the price isn't at its maximum.
It's just RNG man :(

nope, i just spent large amount of times playing video games, bdo is my only game currently and for the past months, and i enjoy playing the game to a certain degree, which makes working for such big goals fairly easy or atleast achievable in a reasonable amount of time
