How are the electors selected? Is it also by election?
If an elector says that they will vote for Kamala but then on Dec 17, can they vote for Trump.

The electoral college is about population . Parts of the country have different intrest . For example Texas is a large state that cares about oil. West Virginia is small they care about coal .
This way it is more fair to everyone.
