Scrape chrome, no need for epoxy, The standard, stringy, Testers is the best for melting plastic, trick to these Amt trucks is time. Glue a couple crossmembers on one rail, let that set overnight , then you can have rigid square for the rest of the frame, A cork board with rubber bands and stick pins ,will finish the ladder frame, Glue pulls as it drys, so it must restrained from doing negative things to any build
