Just as I was looking at your eye look you had used the four shades on, I had thought to myself that they should have released a Quad instead. You then stated the same. These Single Shadows sell for AUD$90.00, which would make a Quad $360.00! That's for only 10gm of product! The Byredo Remembrance Palette weighs a massive 30gm and sold for only AUD$163.00 when I purchased. YSL's (full-sized) Couture Clutch Palettes sell for AUD$165.00. It will be quite sometime before this Collection reaches Australia and who knows what the price will be then? I'm only going by the single shadows from their regular line. If I purchased these from SpaceNK in London, they cost AUD$95.00! They have increased their prices even more than our sole retailer here. It makes no sense that Chantecaille refuse to sell directly to those of us in Australia and New Zealand. They have a roaring trade going in China, which they are putting much work into. The brand has been taken over by a German based multi-national, so no-one can tell me that this brand is "still small and developing". This is what I was told when I reached out to ask why they weren't supplying us. At these prices, and whilst being ignored by the brand itself, I certainly won't be supporting them. I've tried enough of their products to form an opinion and to be honest, they aren't worth the trouble. I'm happier to deal with brands that actually know we exist.🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨

I'm at a place where if I can't get hold of what I'm after, it's not the end of the world if I miss out. I'm not interested in shipping from Selfridges etc. as I personally believe that's absurd for so many individuals to do. Instead, we should be supplied just like everyone else. I occasionally order from Lethal Cosmetics for items not coming to Australia and have ordered from Oden's Eye and Réphr a few times each. Everything else I wait impatiently for. Just like the Prada release that may not arrive until next year! With the amount of make-up I own, I'm never going to be needing anything! It's only a want - many times over!💖
Haha kicking myself for purchasing TF Tropical Dusk palette for $164 when I would have purchased the Remembrance palette. I am crazy. Love Jen, I really dislike Chantecaille quality and prices. A very meh brand.
The look you created Jennifer is lovely, but these shadows are a no for me. I'm sure I can easily replicate this look when many other eyeshadows & the cost is crazy. Cute packaging but not enough to tempt me!
The price has become wildly out of control with these single shadows..The reason they didn’t put them into a quad is because they can make more $$$ selling them in singles..But I would have been so happy to purchase this as a quad… I ordered 2 to try from Nordstroms because I love the cause and love horses- but if I’m not truly in love with them, I won’t be keeping them. I appreciate the review❤ I wish the lip veils or chics, would have been different in tone/color. Both pinks-one light, one deeper.
@@exomake_mehorololo I think I read somewhere that it was a few dollars from each sale but it might be dependent on which charity it’s for also. Also, I’m not sure if it Hass to be bought directly from Chantecaille for the discount to be applicable or not.
It’s like $2 & change per $56 single eyeshadow. Something to note, that amount only goes to horses if it’s purchased in the US. I’d be more impressed if chantecaille just announced they were donating 50k or whatever instead of making US responsible for how much the charity receives.
This collection blew me away. It looks so basic but I love the look every time I use it. I’m addictive to the shade Bay, Pinto and lip chic Laurel. Thanks for the great video ❤
Love the packaging and the shadows. I bought all but Pinto, lol. I was looking for clean quality shadows that I could wear every day and this fits the bill. Yes, price tag was definitely higher than I wanted but, it's a great cause and I love horses.
Love these!! And I wish I had your red hair...so pretty!! I have them and think they are so pretty....my first Chantecaille eyeshadows...as I am a horse fan. Just FYI...because I have heard other people say it the same way...i Roan is 'row- n"...as in a long 'o'...not 'rowan', like a rowan tree. But that is just me being picky about horse colors. A roan colored horse is a light brown with noted white /silver flecking to the hair.
I love this look on you. If they had made this a quad, I might have purchased it. But I never use single shadows. They just go into a drawer to die. Too bad. And I love the look of the lip veils, but they only stay on my lips for about 5 minutes. So I'll stick with my Future Skin and Skin Tint from this brand. Plus the Rose Tint is great for no makeup days. Thanks for the video!💚

I bought a few items during the sale but, being very honest, I just don't think these products in particular are worth the asking price. I mean, three of the shadows equals one PML Mothership palette plus a lip liner!!! Also, the (now) standard compact with an animal picture is really boring. Pat Mcgrath is much better eyeshadow quality... I usually swatch eye shadows against others to see what is comparable. Hardly anything is unique and usually available at multiple brands for multiple price points. The labs never just sell to 1 brand

Nevada too. They are across the west. Some are feral-wild and in herds. Some are dumped and are unable to join herds because they are not accepted into the herd.

I went with the Pinto, which to me is more taupe than mauve. It’s a taupe with a tiny bit of mauve to my eye. I also got the darkest lip veil, Wild Berry. I figure that I could use any good light beige and dark brown shadows in my collection and just put the Pinto on top, which I did, and it was gorgeous!😅
I probably am in a minority, but I haven’t been over impressed with Chantecaille ever… Packaging is always has a cheap feeling to me, regardless their attempt to put a cute picture on top of it, and their eyeshadows are nice, but nothing special to me. Love their complexion products, that’s when they shine , at least to me, but eyeshadows? Nope… Especially after recent YSL, CDP and Chanel it’s a very easy pass for me. As always, your honest opinion is so appreciated!
This is very pretty but an extremely steep price tag and shades that are already in my collection make this a big no. I have very similar shades from many beloved quality palettes such as Chanel, Tom Ford, YSL, etc. and even the Burberry single shadows of yore (which I still have and am working through my backups of Pale Barley and Rosewood 🤫) I think Chanetcaille would have had a winner if they had made this a palette at their usual price point rather than disrespecting the consumer during a say it/don't say it recession.

If you were a medium, light, rosy, olive complexion with brown leaning hazel eyes and wanted to only purchase from one brand (I know impossible) which collection would you suggest? I'm also thinking that Chanel Le Beiges D'Ombres A Paupieres Naturelles may have a similar dark brown matte. Regarding lippies, I often have to use a brown lip liner for pink lip shades in many t collections to tone it down or use a pink liner in the neutral collections to cool it off. First world problems, yes, but make up is fun. I'm turning 60 next week and want to splurge a little. Thanks again and love your videos as most collections look great on you.
I’m voting with my dollars, and I vote NO on $56 single shadows. And double NO on $350 for 4 singles and 2 lip balms. I’m sure they are fab, but I still vote no. Meanwhile, I put in my preorder for both eye and cheek Suqqu palettes!

The giraffe is my favorite eyeshadow quad I own, hummingbird is second. I am tempted in these but just as you suggested I would have preferred a quad.
