A 3 year old couldn't play like that though so they had right marketings salesmen show the way it works to the best of the guitars ability
@@Raydio6 yes as the middle one will be perfect size to learn power chords and even with the 9th added onto the powerchords and so they can practice rythm, if you only practice melodies your going to get nowhere
@zacc Llewellyn Still seems like a waste of $ to me to buy a kid a toy they can't play with correctly. I get that some of the parents that buy these for thier kids might play guitar themselves but at $80/$90 to up to $230 I'd just as soon let my kid play with one of my shitty guitars.

While i think this would be cool, the strings might be a bit heavy for a three year old kid. I bet if they made one they would try to make it a two string which would be very limited.
Probably is possible to turn a 3 string into one by reinforcing the Neck, reaming out the tuning pegs and the bridge or replace the bridge with a custom built one, slap a Duncan SJB-3 J Bass pickup and use baritone strings that best suit the fingers and you're good to go
If their guitar has 3 strings, the bass would have 1 🤔

I don't understand the comments about these guitars being too expensive. They are nothing but fair. The mini loog is under $100. And it comes with a learning app. I bought a Cordoba Mini for my 6-year-old and it works pretty well. It cost $200. He still plays it in his lap because of the size. I'm considering buying a Mini Loog because I think it'll be more comfortable for him.
The Pro Acoustic Guitars (along w/ their new 6 String version called Pro VI) are designed to feel like Electric Guitars because they have Extra Light Gauge Acoustic Strings on them to emulate an Electric Guitar feel.
Paul Gilbert’s Get Out of My Yard can be played on these with the right tunings.
Not quite, because you’d still need to either have a human capo, do some pedal dancing with multiple whammy pedals or some multi-string tapping.
Plus, you’d have to file the nut so that way you can make room for thicker gauge strings to get E5, E4 and E3 tuned strings.
GOOMY does go from fret 3 to fret 21, which is 18 frets. There are 18 frets on it, so that’s at least works… if you’ll change the tuning to G5 G4 G3.
I still really like the idea of a three-string guitar being used for that song.

The Loog Guitar Why not update the Acoustic models into Acoustic-Electrics by adding a Piezo Pickup to them. The built in amp is fantastic just like on those Vox Apache Guitars complete with an On/Off Switch.
The Built in amplifier makes these Electric Guitars even easier for beginners "Flip the Switch and Play".
They even have adjustable bridges. Just in case your 4-year-old is a sticker for perfect intonation 😂.

I bought my kid one and after 3 weeks he wanted to give a concert so I set him up

Yes, our 6-string models have a truss rod and our 3-string models don't.

No, because it's the first 3 strings of a normal 6 string guitar.They basically start by learning triads chord progressions.

They are the treble strings; strings 1, 2 and 3 of a regular guitar, you could play some metal songs and maybe even "solo" a lil bit 🤘

Anywhere from $100 -$200. Not bad considering they come with learning programs (At least, I'm assuming they do) Honestly, I haven't researched it. Even though it would only take 1 minute of a Google search to find out. I'm only going off what I've read in these comments.

Not gunna lie. This may seem cool but this makes actually learing guitar seem much harder
Hey! It is actually easier for most kids. Our 3 strings are made for kids as young as 3 y/o, so when they first come in contact with the instrument they'll focus on the bottom strings first, making easy triad chords. Since we use the same first three strings -and tuning- of a six-string guitar, everything you learn on a Loog can later be applied on a standard guitar. The transition is natural and seamless. It provides a more approachable experience; more suitable for kids and beginners :)

Si, son lindas y simpáticas, pero suenan como juguete.
So when the little ones get older and get a full size they won't have a clue how to play 6 strings only 3 . Headstock is gross.
Most guitars for kids are simply cheap, scaled-down replicas of a standard guitar. And because they have six strings anyway, the neck is still too wide for a child to play comfortably - let alone easily.
The learning process with a Loog guitar is not solely about graduating to a six-string guitar; it is about enjoying the journey of learning and playing music. The good thing is that once they decide to move to a six-string guitar, anything they had learnt will stay the same. The transition is super easy! :)
Why… just learn on an ukulele
Ukuleles are great - if what you want is a ukulele. The problem is that many people end up buying a ukulele because what they want is a small, portable, easy-to-play guitar. And if that’s what you want, we think a Loog is better suited for you. You see, a ukulele is an entirely different instrument: it has its own strings, its own tuning and its own sound. Loog Guitars are really just 3-string guitars: they use regular guitar strings, they tune like a guitar, they play like a guitar, and they sound like a guitar. So if you want to get a ukulele, you should definitely get one (they are actually fun to play along with the Loog!). But if what you really want is a small, fun guitar, we humbly propose that you consider a Loog.

Real guitars are too big for kids’ hands. Small company. Quality and sound are very good. So is app/educational component. Real guitar too big for kid’s hands. And other kids instruments are mostly junk. I’ve tried many.
@@misteress3840 Read the reviews of these overpriced toys. The build quality is hit or miss and most people complain they smell like chemicals. I 've tried a couple and can agree they smell like lacquer and not all are built with the same care. The price is $99 to $199 on sale for Loog kid's electric guitar Justify that price to me.
@@stephenhancock2580 I have played and taught with them for years. They work well. Sound good and fun to play. Boutique product by small company so not cheap. I had one that smelled funny and needed to sit out a couple days. That’s the tiny acoustic ones. Don’t recommend the smallest ones.
There always on Kickstarter looking for money. And how can you justify the price if the kids are that young start on a Ukulele can get them cheap and better quality.
