I for one did NOT think you got the last game wrong as that 4th quarter rocked. In my defense, this MSU game was a Peacock subscription game so I belatedly discovered its greatness. What else I think this shows is how often these Iowa women withstood the other teams best shot. Whether it was Nebraska or MSU or Colorado or whoever- they usually rose to the occasion. And also got revenge when they did stumble (Ohio State, Indiana). Love, love, love your reactions. You've seen these women against good teams; if you want to see them go crazy against a bad team look up at Minnesota. Even the bench players were draining 3's. Rock on.
If you love Hannah you could watch the game against penn state, she got over 40 points. Honestly the college announcers were always huge fans of Caitlin, no problems til the w. Also this was their first conference game of the season I think their defense got better as the season went on

I see you noticed that about the loyal Iowa fanbase. They are definitely one of the most loyal bases in the country. They are also the biggest traveling fan base as well. Their football team gets invited to bowl games, that they would normally not be invited to, simply because the venues know that the fans are going to travel. Also check out the fans at the Fever vs Lynx game in Minnesota. Majority of those fans at that packed arena, were Hawkeye fans paying well over $500 per ticket just to see a Caitlin Clark game. Those people are crazy travelers, and just a great fan base in general

Caitlin averaged 4.5 turnovers in college. That’s why the announcers are riding her. Not uncommon. She has a high usage rate and sometimes the passes get mishandled or she gets surprised by a double team. But the ones who’ve been watching her a while, that’s why her WNBA turnover average wasn’t eyebrow rising. She’s always committed her share as a high usage primary ball handler. Most of those types have a 3-5 tpg average. But you talk like a coach so you probably know that. 😂
Imo risk puts pressure on the defense, it's like Kobe taking difficult shots, even if it misses you're still wearing out the defense. CC's passes are high risk but the high skill behind makes it viable. Magic averaged 4 tos and he's still the universal goat at the 1.

That’s the one thing I had to acclimate to watching the women’s BB, they’re traveling and not getting called on by the refs and that’s straight across the board. It took me awhile to accept that but it still bends my brain and feel wrong. Instead of getting on them and forcing them to step up and play right, they over look it. It’s obviously agreed upon by the higher ups.

You know, this is about as good a place to talk about what I have to say as. In the entertainment field and in sports, there are certainly quite a few women who are leaders. But here is The crucial point. How many of these women are clear leaders of teams? Very few. Society has finally evolved that it can accept women being independent of men and shining on their own. But still, acceptance of a woman being a commander is really very rare. Read your history books and see how often men are identified as geniuses. But how many times do you see women with that same label. Almost none. There seems to be an unspoken agreement that women should be part of groups, nurturing, togetherness, etc etc etc. But you see few examples of women being praised as geniuses, of being natural leaders to lead armies. Well, of course there was Joan of Arc, and you remember what happened to her!
