so happy and excited to see you trying filipino treats & snacks! i'm half filipino and the shrimp chips were my fave as a kid 🥰 hopefully you can try ube ice cream one day - it's delicious! sometimes artificially flavored ube foods aren't the best, but the ice cream is the best!

Asian sweets that are purple are almost always either Taro or Plum. I would guess that cake is Taro flavor.

If you/re going to try Filipino food, you really need to try and go all out. Lumpia, Pancit and Chicken Adobo. It is so good. I don't have any idea how you'd find it where you are, but it would be worth it.

hi, I'm fluent in mandarin and the skyflakes indeed were not garlic flavour haha they must've sent the wrong flavour! the garlic version is actually really good it's a shame you couldn't try them
