Your album truly helped me to understand this process and to be able to forgive that person but to never get back with her. She even tried to reach out to me but I never replied. I am happy again finally and I found the love of my life in the process just because of this album that really helped me a lot. From the bottom of my heart, thank you 🤍

Man, I got put on to you in the All American era via a Jake & Amir video. Ended up seeing you live a few times through HS and college - the first show (Party With Your Friends Tour I think) the crowd was vibing and you must’ve performed every single song in your disco up to that point. Genuinely the best money:length show I have ever been to. All that to say, it’s not often that an artist goes through a sound/genre transition well. This album is a TIGHTLY produced, written, and performed pop album from front to back. It’s a testament to your talent my guy, I’m genuinely glad you decided to lean hard into pop. Your earlier rap albums will always be an important part of my teenage years, but it’s absolutely sick to see you fully embracing a genre that’s been at the edge of a lot of your stuff for a long time and successfully take it to a mature place. It doesn’t feel pandering, it’s long enough to feel whole but not so long that it’s meandering, sonically a ton of fun.

I remember wanting a Hoodie Allen t shit so bad, I went to one of those print shops on the Wildwood boardwalk and had them custom print your HA logo for me to wear! Great album here. You know what it reminds me of? One of my favorite albums "A Real Good Kid" by Mike Posner. Not necessarily in the sound, but how it makes me feel. Mike Posner became one of my favorite artists when that album dropped. I never really heard of him until I stumbled upon it in new releases. Not a type of artist or music id listen to... but that whole album is such a fantastic work when played in a single sitting. I feel similarly to this album here. When your singles released, I gave them a listen. It was a shocking change in tone, and at most I thought, "Oh good for Hoodie." But as a complete work here, I really do enjoy this album. Maybe those singles primed my ears, or maybe it's my filmmaker roots loving a whole completed work, but I listened to this whole thing just now. And you know what!? I shared the link with old friends I haven't talked to since high school who I listened to you with. So maybe it'll reignite some relationships.
