A court of silver flames is BY FAR my favorite of the series. It eas the only book by sjm that kept me hooked from the beginning till the end. It’s a lott more romance and character focused than the other books. You will connect so much with nesta it made me cry SO MUCH. Please read it! Silver Flames was the only ACOTAR book I gave 5 stars, Nesta is an incredibly complicated an interesting character and reading her character arc was amazing. Mainly because I relate to her so much compared to anyone else. But you should 100% read it, it's a literal work of art 🥰

Your thoughts crack me up! I started ACOWAR earlier this year and in the first few chapters I said “I bet this is my favorite book of the whole series!” And then quickly it turned into a miserable experience that put me in a slump and I dreaded finishing 😂 the beginning of that book is so deceiving. I am currently now 6+ months later reading Silver Flames!
Omg the last one is sooo goood!! It’s a little different to get into at first but it’s so good - character development is phenomenal and a few new characters that are just so iconic!! Also Nesta and Cassian 💓

I completely understand you preferring ACOWAR. I think as a whole, I prefer Mist and Fury - but when I reflect on what my favourite parts of the series are, a big chunk of them are in Wings and Ruin. Like Cassian & Azriel landing on the ice, and the High-Lords meetings, and everything with Miryam, Drakon and Julian. Ugh I love!! Justice for ACOWAR!!
I'm so glad I'm not alone with how I felt about Tamlin! I was so upset Feyre was gonna end up with Rhysand, but honestly I felt so much better after finishing ACOMAF, his actions and behavior don't make up for being lonely and protective!! I'm also waiting for a possible vlog for the last book, I'm debating whether or not to read it!🤭

If you liked the full circle moment in ACOMAF with Feyre and Rhys you NEED to read Throne of Glass!! The first couple books are just okay but then it’s so phenomenal and things come full circle from book 1 in ways you couldn’t even imagine and it’s soooo epic! ❤

I literally just finished ACOSF today and wow, Nesta’s story is so worthwhile reading!! Her character development is amazing, i honestly couldn’t stand her for the first four books and wow I really like her now. She’s such a flawed character, but so so interesting! Cassian is also just the very best and the spice in that book is ✨✨✨✨ I think you’ll really like it, since we have veryy similar opinions on the rest of the books.
You have to read the last one. It is truly one of the best I loved it sm and the novella sets up the last book pretty well so that’s what I liked abt it
in truth, lucien was as much as a tamlin victim as feyre was, he was literally homeless/exiled/heartbroken before tamlin so it was hard for him to think rhysand was up FOR feyre and not playing her when he thought for 50 years that rhys was the enemyI think he literally thought he was doing the right thing 😢

I really hope you read A Court of Silver Flames some day! I hated Nesta and SF was definitely disappointing. When I first read it I gave it 4.5 stars just because the character development is good and I was happy to be back into the world, but looking back I’d change it to be 3.5. Will never be a Nesta lover, I can’t forgive her for what she’s done. That’s just me. When I reread the books I won’t read SF with it. Was just happy to see Feyre and Rhys again❤

I think he's the better option, and this series give off Twilight, and Vampire Diaries vibes.
I sort of feel like after SJM wrote/delved more into Rowan's character in the throne of glass series, she fell in love with his type of character and decided to make Rhysand the main focus/love interest. It might've just felt so prominent to me because I read these books as they were released so I jumped from Heir of Fire to ACOTAR to Queen of Shadows to ACOMAF though. She easily could have planned the romance from the beginning but the way that Tamlin's character did a complete 180 in ACOMAF and was barely in the story just felt a bit messy to me lol, especially since the first book spent so much time building his character (+ it was a beauty and the beast retelling ft. Tamlin as the beast).
you have to read the third book, lucien is back in there and its great to see him in some serious action! I literally yelled and cried at the end of the second one, but the third one was my favorite, probably… 😊
I would give a court of sliver flames a try, im still in the middle of it cuz its hard to wrap my head around nestas pov! Just because i love rhysand and feyres story so much! So its still hard for me to read it! But cassians pov is great so far
