I did the same thing when he came out in a private server.

Here are some tips and tricks for king: if you look at him he gets mad, if you whistle you get the death sentence, if you build he gets attracted, if you jump or run basically your dead. :)

My building tips:
-Don't leave holes big enough for employees too slip in!
-Use a slide door, small employees can get through crouch doors!
-Make a roof! Its really important for blood night, since the employees are insane, and they might climb up.
-Go to shelves. As someone else mentioned, this is a great place to find abandined bases.
-Build it near food and medkits. This is very important!
-Light it up! You need light if you want to be able to see at night!
A slide door is great but just something a small employee can also glitch in so I like crouch doors but I make it thin also, because the small ones are also wide and Ben is also there and all he has is legs soo

i remember a place i built in scp 3008.....
it was like a modernized place, basement was built of entire glass tables.
i had a sort of fnaf like game room, i made it of pallets and tables, chairs and pizza was on each. we made up a fnaf like game, where the night guard would look into the hallways, and if they see one of the animatronics move, they go back, kinda like sly fox.

If you dont know what the king does in blood nights the kings velocity increases by 2.5x and he can break floors the mor e pushes the king has makes the head spin faster that increases the kings stats also when the king turns yellow a message will appear that says “KING” and then the king starts to break down bases made by players

you can whistle to stun the king, but it buffs him for a few seconds after you do it.

Helpful tips for people in 3008:
* If you are in a private server and can color items don't use the color black especially if you're making a pillar base, you won't see the floor or walls in the night
* adding to much items in your base is definitely not okay, instead find pallet shelves and make a pallet base
* DON'T MAKE A TRIANGLE ROOF!!! It's ugly and hard to finish and will just annoy you

Facts about king to leave you know
King: can jump 100 studs high, pushing him 3-5 times makes him destroy he will turn yellow and if you replay the scream backwards he says "STOP HITTING MEEEEE" and at five hits he destroys the nearest pillar and will make a screaching noise and will turn everything red in about 200 meters and he will become a wrecking ball after that and he will jump 300 studs high then and becomes faster and can one shot you in a single hit at full health and will say" KING DOESN'T LIKE THATT" to hear him say that he says it backwards it and he says" STOOOOOOOOOOOP" don't try hitting him or staring at him cause he doesn't like it hope these facts help
Also Idea you should make a players vs king where the player build the bunker not underground on top and hav it be blood night love the work

My building tips are
-making uh tiny house with uh side ways door slider
-upgrading the tiny house with uh hole so if the staff's with no body get's in i will go to the hole with uh door slider so the staff wont get in
