I coupon heavily and over the years, have memorized the clearance codes. Dollar General and Walgreens are usually weekly stops for me especially on Saturdays for DG. I enjoy watching deals videos for DG, Walgreens, and Kroger while I walk. It has saved me thousands by watching and listening to UA-cam videos. Highly highly recommend.
I used to shop with my SIL and we would be walking through the store and she would stretch on her tiptoes and look around. I thought she was looking for a person, but when I asked, she said,”I’m looking for clearance signs!” 😁
Great tips! I love trying to find discounts and savings on all purchases. I like using browser extensions to save money online. I also try to shop items that are on sale. Aldi used to have really low prices, but now they have gotten more expensive.
Always check online prices with AND WITHOUT the cash back apps. When I rent a car, the price quoted with the Rakuten cash back applied is higher than when I check without it. Usually my final price is better when I DON'T apply the cash back option.
Dollar Tree is great for antibiotic cream, toothpaste, pre-cut parchment paper, greeting cards, gift wrap, theatre candy, frozen vegetables, disposable pans when making food for people, dog poop/cat litter bags, body wash and shampoo.
Good evening from London (UK) - Sara, you're amazing, I love your channel. I like Aldi supermarket very much, it's a shame that we don't have a Target here in the UK, I always hear great things about this store on various American channels. I wasn't brought up in the frugal way at all but circumstances are now that looking for a new job, you've helped me tremendously. You remind me of the series "Bewitched" that I used to watch back in France; You transform things and make wonders out of nothing. Thank you so much for all your hard work and the positive vibes you send out. xxxFlorence.
My find this week- a large designer brand winter tote bag ($45 ) that sells for $300plus- at a consignment home store. I had been looking for this, but wouldn’t pay those ridiculous prices. I carry books, always, in my bag.
PayPal does a monthly cash back program. I use my debit card in grocery stores and get 5% cash back. You can change it each month, so if you have a trip coming and will be dining out a lot, you can change it to restaurants. FYI; Costco, Walmart, and Target are categorized as Grocery stores
I always sort by "used" on Amazon. These are items generally not really used, but someone opened the package, didn't like it, and returned it. They ship from the Amazon warehouse. I got a very expensive Christmas tree with all the bells and whistles for $78 during the summer. It was just leftover stock. Sellers have to pay stocking fees, so they want to get rid of it.
I used to coupon a lot but then I changed my way of eating. No process foods. So, here in Canada, we don't have coupons for anything fresh, fruits, veggies, meat, fish, eggs, etc. We have coupons for anything in a box, can, packet or wrapped in plastic 3 times. I RARELY find coupons for what I need.
Have you been recently coached about body postures? Too much hand gestures, and I've seen your past videos. It stood out enough for me to write a comment (in my region/culture we do "talk with our hands").
Yikes! Your back to having to do a hand/arm/finger movement for EVERY word in your videos. So unnecessary and looks weird. Loved the video content but HATED the presentation. sorry.

Over the past few months you have really inspired me and I've begun to change my life for the better. THANK YOU for what you do ❤❤
That’s amazing! Thank you! Im so proud of you!!!

That macrame tree is bomb.💕

Start your clearance item shopping early ❤

DT shrank their precut parchment paper size. It is too short for cookie trays now. 😠
Love thrift shops for various clothing re: blazers, my son’s dress shirts, purses, etc. Found new London Fog trench coat for $20!
Great job
Keep in mind that "best buy date" is NOT an expiration date. Canned goods can last up to 10 years or longer.

Costco eye wear is great, and their in-store optometrist was excellent
Yes! Store policies are key.

Hi, I love for you to do a video on how you got your gifts for almost free.😊
Fun video! Lots of good tips.. Great job, Sara.

This. It's so frustrating!!
Cost co glasses save a lot of money! Combine with your eye insurance and their sales.
I LOVE using the perks of my credit card to get free gift cards. 😊. Sounding better 😊

❤❤❤ Sara 😮😮😮😊😊😊
I just live on my $300 food stamps.ibuy expensive food I don't spend a dime on eating out
Beware of lotions and bath products and cosmetics at the $$ stores - they usually are old and rancid!😖
Where do you get manufacture coupons these days?
Sometimes, I sign up for specific manufacturer coupons on a manufacturer website - like Perdue for chicken.
Apps for the grocery stores, Dollar General, Target, have mfg coupons on their apps. I use them all of the time
Anything new?
Thanks so much for watching!!

Most coupons are mostly for
junk food items
