Thanks...great information!!!
It’s hard to find a job. Have a tier 1 & Tier 3 cert but no fish…
Hey! Can a SCA be considered as a permanent full time role for most companies? Or is this a temporary role? It seems like jobs are hiring full time positions, but I’m not too sure.
Hi. A SCA is a full-time role because companies have many new systems that need to be asseessed and once assessments are completed, the SCA still needs to assess the new and existing systems during the continuous monitoring phase
@@cyberfirstsolutions thanks for responding! Do we need to be certified first to break into this role, or have you seen people break into SCA with no certs/in the process of getting one?
@pheonixjones3800 it depends on the organization. Some might hire you contingent on you getting a cybersecurity certification within 6 months or so but it is very common for certs to be a requirement
@@cyberfirstsolutions good to know. Can we start off with the sec+(that’s what I’m currently studying for)? And does this also apply to someone looking into an GRC analyst role?
@pheonixjones3800 the Security+ is a good certification that gives yiu general cybersecurity knowledge, but it does not give you that specialized knowledge. Enployers will still want you to have GRC knowledge and skills
Do you still offer this training?
It still seems so hard to find a job..I just don't know what to think
Hi. There are a bunch of jobs posted daily on indeed.com, glassdoor, dice and splyhired. Just enter ISSO or Security Control Assessor or Grc Analyst
@@cyberfirstsolutions Hello, I’m there everyday and still nothing. It’s exhausting
@@moni92 Do you mean that you are not seeing any job postings or that you are not getting called for interviews?
@@cyberfirstsolutions not getting called. And that they want certs that I don’t have.
@moni92 have you signed up for course: ISSO Training? I have a resume template that you can use, and it also includes theCGRC cert bootcamp
