I just got this ship today. Oh, and i deleted a cruiser with 1 salvo earlier. The guy never fired his gun. The match started. He turned. I deleted him. I actually felt kinda bad about it lol. He probably emailed wargaming about nerfing the jean bart lol.

My grandfather was an officer on the HMS Belfast for most of the war and it's a sentimental favourite.
If you're a cruiser player...you will love it, great for farming damage

I got this ship in the Super Santa crate earlier today, and I watched this video before playing it. That ship dishes out a lot of damage! In one battle, I killed the Scharnhorst B, and in another, a Atlanta B popped out from behind an island just 3 km away. I then shot a full salvo, and got 6 citadels! But then someone stole the kill as I went to finish him off.

You can visit the real HMS Belfast in London.
And World of Warships has a video tour of it on their channel ( Wows legends ) for those of us who can't get there. I recommend it.

Belfast is currently a museum ship and the sister ship the Edinburgh was sunk in battle carrying a large shipment of gold!.....gold was recovered and shown on the discovery channel a few years ago
Would you recommend getting the Hood when it's out by itself?
Yes I enjoy the hood but gotta be careful not to give too much of a side to battleships

Meet the Belfast? I used to be CPS Union health & safety officer responsible for the Belfast.
I'm a solo player but I have no problem taking on BBs in these cruisers. I've been getting krakens pretty consistently with them. AP shreds the destroyers as well.
Then you're far luckier than I am. Everytime a BB looks at me I get Citadeled hard

This ship is the wet dream of every Atlanta user. High rate of fire plus smoke equals camping in smoke for ages and spamming HE at the nearest BB you can find, and nearly 95% of the games with Tier VI ships, there is at least two in the game. Wargaming is doing all they possibly can to make BB's more difficult to play. HE spamming CL's and CA's bad sneaky torp spamming DD's makes the life of a BB captain tricky.

My biggest problem with the new British line is the fact that you cannot afford to take a hit. There are only so many times you can hide in smoke or behind an island, one you get hit, it is devastating.

I love her and the FiJi , use Ms Bel on Belfast and FiJi and maybe Edinburgh, I’ll have to test that more but the Edinburgh has 30mm Bow Armor and she’s the only CA in the game with that! As I was telling you and it’s not against our NDA but we tried that and to many was against it! Now that she’s out (Edinburgh) the health heals aren’t enough specially after a BB can delete you almost even Bow Tanking! We’re trying and hopefully Wargaming does something now? Use Captain Bruce Fraser on everything else

Why the Belfast has no torpedoes? She got torpedoes after her modernization in 1942 if I'm not mistaken? Balancing purposes I suppose.
Hardly balancing issues. Bismark keeps its torps as do the german heavy cruisers with their much higher calibre gins. Atlanta probably gets torps too, and its RoF is utterly insane.
They gave her the HE so torps were likely left out for balance

Tennant best captain for Belfast, Frazer for tech tree.

10:37-10:42 Yes destroyers need to be spotting and capturing objectives, but i think a destroyers main job including these two points is to search out other destroyers. If the enemy team does not have any destroyers its a cake walk.
Don't get me wrong DDs can definitely hunt other DDs and I often do in the lightning but it's better for cruisers to engage DDs as their health pool and better guns make it an easy win.
Does anyone know when you can buy The Belfast straight up with doublons?
Anytime.... it is available in the campaign you purchase the Admiralty backing for 2500 and then skip all the way to the end and press X I believe on Xbox to skip all remaining levels and unlock the ship. depending on how much you've completed it will be cheaper

The British have no heavy cruisers??,that's why I use the Japanese or German at least they have heavy cruisers..

I think there HAS to be something wrong with their code for these British ships. They are SO squishy. Hell a fletcher could take on a Belfast and come out ahead using AP. These British cruisers are another kind of monster when it comes to the typical playstyle of the community. Need to think outside the box to be successful.
A fletcher has great armor piercing but still if this thing is firing HE no DD has a chance
They need to remove the smoke generator on this ship. Hate how players just sit there and spam you with HE
The Leander Ms Bel only gets one Smoke and with Bruce u get 3 Hooah!

AP on destroyers is not a bad choice because you will do more damage with the AP , all cruisers are support ships so that’s why we see less cruisers lol
Considering that HE shells cause more serious incapacitations, it would be more rewarding to use them since, in addition to being very advantageous to immobilize a destroyer, it is satisfactory...

This ship is great for playing like a big fire starting destroyer. Have your team spot, sit in smoke or behind cover, and light others on fire. Respect BBs, they'll delete you at will if you aren't smart positionally. Great for earning silver, put a 3x booster and you're looking at 500k/match pretty regularly
6:21, as a cruiser/battleship player, this is fax.
My wife got me a allete series2 controller. Dude I recomend you invest in one! Spendy but nice, and has 3 setting saves! Fully programmable and adjustable. No batterys. rechargeable internal battery
Spartan I just found out now when I got my Iowa! If you aim directylty in front of u or, directly behind u your ranege is increeced by+-1half km and for ich little rectical you move it lowers your range and highers the dispersion so that's why your ofen unluckey!

I feel like it should have torpedoes to defend against a battleship. Also, I hope its AP gets buffed. Seems I get a lot of over pens too.

What is the difference between the radar and the sonar? Thx
Sonar is Long Duration, sees torps from much further, and detects ships at short range only extending spotting by very little or through objects like islands or smoke.
Radar is short duration lasts up to 30 seconds but can detect ships at long ranges even through objects such as islands and smoke. My Balti radar can detect ships out to 9km even if they are in smoke. However it doesn't detect torps from very far compared to the Sonar or Hydro Accoustic Search. (Same Thing)
However the sonar can only detect ships at like 4.5km but lasts 2 minutes I believe and detects torps out to a range of 3.5 to 4km instead of the 1-1.5 km by eyesight alone

What's the difference between world of warships and world of warships legends?
Legends has less tiers so far capping out at tier 7 but brings in certain tier 7 8 and 9 ships from PC.
Armor profiles are the same, guns are same, ranges have been reduced.
9v9 rather than 12v12
@@SpartanElite43 will they be adding carriers and higher tiers?
@@dantecruz9463 currently they are considering adding a legendary tier with Yamato and other tier 10s from pc supposed to come out in spring I believe.
As for carriers they are saying by end of 2020 if at all depending on what pc does to balance them. If balancing does not work on PC they will not bring carriers to console

I used Belfast on my Belfast, I get 16.5 km range and a reload of 6 seconds.
I think it doesn't pay to invest so much in the ship's range since the projectiles start to have a very weak ballistics after 15km, 14km down would be more suitable, which is not a problem as the concealment of the ship is excellent
At least you have good ships and i have had the game since the game preview and i have no good ships at all because it takes years to level up one ship
