That are looking great. Getting them all out like that is a good idea for motivation 21 more to do. It’s madness I tell you 😂😂😂 Good luck Mat. The army will look bloody awesome when you get there.
They look very nice, love the horses even if they did run all the way back to Brussels telling everyone who would listen that Wellington is beaten and that Napoleon was coming, all the best Garry
war gaming with Garry thanks Garry, yes they bravely ran away shouting about how the battle was lost. I suspect they were in deep doo doo when the generals caught up with them!
good to see these guys being represented! I t is a mine field of conflicting information about them, also their were 2 batteries of artillery present at waterloo. keep adding the small details to help personalise them as non british.
Superb mate but I think your almost as crazy as myself I'm building a british and allied army so I'm dreaming of red coats I've just had a tiny break by painting some nassauers keep going mate I'm gonna get some hanovarians in the upcoming warlord sprue sale God help us in this crazy hobby
hxjay1971 haha crazy indeed 🤪 I’m also waiting to see if warlord have any british line or Hanoverians in their sale... I’m of the option that if you do something do it all 😊 so that’s me busy for the next ten years creating Waterloo in 28mm
TheDiomedef16 thanks Ian, yeah thanks for reminding me about all the other nations 😝 luckily some of them were quite small in terms of troop commitment
They look excellent, well done. Twenty odd battalions?😳 At your current rate of progress you should have them done fairly quickly. The important bit is to take a break at some point so you don't get burn out. My problem has been taking too many breaks so that my French are only now nearing completion at about 18 btns after several years😁 Do you paint a unit at a time regardless of numbers or in batches? I recently finished a second unit of 39 Prussians which nearly saw me off! Look forward to seeing more. See you at Partizan. Keith
The Enigmatic Gamer thanks 👍 I actually try and paint two units at once regardless of the number of figures and have at least two more cleaned and primed up ready. I do have other units sitting waiting so if I do get hacked off with painting red all the time I can switch over to another colour 😊 see you at partizan
Great stuff Matt. But I must admit, now I know where it could have led me, I’m very glad I avoided that cheap sprue sale Warlord did a few months ago. 😂
Mary Hinge haha yeah, thing is Warlord just had another sprue sale so I bought some more! I’ll do a show and tell video for that when they arrive. I’ve just spent this evening cleaning up some French Lancers ready for priming to break up the constant Hanoverian units so I don’t get burnt out painting red
wow they look amazing great job so far, cant believe you are going to do 28 battalions that will be some achievement if you get it done mate, cant wait to see more. how are you getting on with the French cavalry are you still working on them? best of luck with your project. great video as always
Chris Wareing thank you. I’ve neglected the French cav recently but as it happens I was just sorting out the next batch of figures for the 12th heavy division this afternoon so I’ll be doing another video on the French cav soon
They look beautiful! I love the labels.

They look really cool.
granapriego thank you
That is one huge contingent in 28mm! Then you have all the other nations too. Looking good though, especially all ranked up like that.
