I dropped a 9 pt bruiser on Stateland this morning…..thank god my buddy showed up to help me drag him out…..i felt every one of my 53 years today. My biggest buck to date and on public made me even more excited. But you young guys and this channel keeps me going.
I bought one of those backpack sling's. You wear it like a backpack and it has a adjustable rope and d-ring. Makes dragging a little easier, especially if you don't drag against the grain of the deer's hair.
You guys are who got me into public land hunting 3 years ago and so far to date I've killed my biggest buck last year 140 inch 9 point and this year I shot 120 inch 8 point all public land deer and it's all thanks to you guys!!
They have really built a well rounded group of dudes at this point. They're all pretty great at their craft and each tote their own quirks and uniqueness. It's been pretty neat to watch them grow over the years and be able to live out their dreams.
Glad to see y’all back in my neck of the woods. That was close Aaron, and a good buck. You played it right, but maybe a little too close for trying to grunt at it. Tough luck, you’ll get him next time. Good luck!
Never clicked so fast. Love having you hear in the Natural state. If you haven't looked at it yet White River NWR is known for giants and I have seen several taken this year alone down there
After hunting Arkansas for 40 + years the one thing I know for sure is our Deer are high pressured. You take the average buck killer from Arkansas and let him hunt the Midwest giants he will do just fine . I bow hunted Adair county Mo. for several years and it was soooooo much easier to kill a goodern.
Glad you still have a boat! During the quick hookup in the rain you never did lock the latch down on the receiver for the boat. Damn Warb, you can not catch a break on these dandy bucks this season. Your time is coming and soon!🦌
I feel your pain buddy! Found a pretty good spot here in northeast Arkansas last week while scouting decided to do a ground set using a felled tree was set up to shoot in the direction I thought they would come from then had an 11 point come and sneak up about 10-15 yards from me coming from the opposite direction and spooked him when I tried to make a shot. Glad to see y’all back in Arkansas and I wish y’all the best of luck!
Awesome video man. The crp and tree fields hold the bucks during the rut. I live in Arkansas and our public land bucks sure get spooky when trying to grunt stop them. Are rut can trickle and last well into December in certain places. Glad to see y’all made it back to Arkansas and the weather sure gave y’all the welcome.
“That’s why we ain’t out there right now… that’s exactly why we ain’t out there” *goes out there* 😂 Just discovered this channel and I can’t get enough of it!
From an ole boy from Arkansas, I’m glad y’all made it to Arkansas again! I enjoyed an episode that I can relate to. Keep your head up Aaron, awesome video and that was a great buck! you’ll get you a nice buck one of these times, guaranteed!
Always an entertaining, educational video by THP. Warb, it takes a good ethical hunter not take a bad shot. You did the right thing and will be rewarded for it 👍👍
That buck was moving pretty slow, I’ve seen warb take straight on shots which is a far more unethical shot… he should have just let it go when he cleared not an unethical shot.. you can’t grunt at them that close on the ground they pick you immediately and they bounce especially later in the season.. like he said in a tree it wouldn’t see what was making the sound.. Im sure he knows it after he’s just not going to say that lol
Glad to see the thumbnail match what happed in the video but I wish it wasn't 2 separate pictures cropped together. Tough hunt bud. I hate it when everything in a hunt goes right until it doesn't!
Watching y'all hunt my home state swamp donkeys sure was fun. They get a lot more pressure than y'all think. Should have popped him as soon as he stepped out! Good luck next time guys. Thanks for the great footage.
Darn.... you are correct, that one did sting. That sting radiated right threw my screen and numbed me out to. Kick ass plan tho my dude, that was top 5 THP hunts for me. That Buck was a Dandy for sure
Hindsight is always 20/20. He did stop for a micro second in the shooting lane when you were drawn back. Ugh. So close. I understand that the camera angle and the shot angle are different but dang was that close!!! Looks like there might have been a branch in the way also. Wish you had the opportunity for a do over. I am pretty sure that buck would’ve been dead at the end of a short blood trail. Awesome over the shoulder footage. Thanks, keep the videos coming.😃🦌😃🦌
I love to watch y’all since 2017 I think I’m not bow hunter but always wanted to Learn how but 35 with 3 kids I stay busy. We hog hunt and bear hunt with dogs and I picked up hunting deer in pass time killed my first buck 6 point in 2018 cause y’all got me in the woods. Love to meet y’all ever bored and around east TN holler at me
After those failed attempts of getting in trees. I thought your setup was amazing, thought you blended in great. Can't believe he picked you up like that. Great episode!
I know hindsight is better but if you just would have shot instead of making a noise that buck would have been yours. He was barely moving when he first saw you and that was the time to shoot. Oh well, better luck next time. Appreciate all the effort to entertain us I feel like I am hunting with you. Thanks for all you do!
"What do you know?", "I came out here not because I have anything to offer, I just didn't want to be the only one not standing in the rain.", and " He's a beaute Clark." LMAO!!! I would pay to watch Nick just get hammered and shoot the shit with the rest of them...lol. My favorite THP MEMBER ever!
Well I’ll tell ya, the deer in SW Ark. (zone 14) we’re rutting harder than I’ve ever seen Nov.11-17, then they slowed down a bit. I was able to get two nice bucks, the second one is the biggest I’ve ever gotten. Also the first time I was able to get two bucks in one season. Also shot a doe and a hog in the same week. Then caught some crappie after that!
Hunted north MS my entire life - just across the river from AR. First, there is no concentrated rut down here. Of course there's a rut, but it's spread out and you don't see the flurry of activity seen in other regions of the country. We often say that rut in MS isn't a time but rather a place - and that place is wherever a doe is in estrus. I've seen chasing in early Nov, and I've seen it in late Jan. The best time to be in the woods in my area is from about Dec 8-10 until New Years. The best buck I've ever taken was chasing a doe on Christmas Eve morning.
Aaron the buck definitely stopped, but I think the thought to grunt and actual grunt was already in process. I believe had you not grunted you’d have a buck in your hands brother. One of those things…..hindesight is 20/20! Keep on y’all!
I love the battle with the trees. 😂 Was thinking about it a few times this week during my drawn hunt in coastal south Texas. Tiny trunks high stem count stuff I was really hoping to get up in. Found one hackberry that worked.
I harvested a ni e heave horned old buck the Friday before Thanksgiving week. Glad to see some out of state success of seeing a good buck and getting the word out about some of Arkansas great hunting.
Man, that sucks 0.5 seconds from being the Arkansas King of Camp, stay on em Warb. Greg's camera work is sick af, half the time I'm saying how is he getting that shot!
Awe man, so close, it’ll come together cause y’all are in the pocket. Good luck guys and stay at it, it’s bound to happen soon! Warb if you’d been up in a tree, you’d be above the scrub trees and y’all would’ve had it on ice and eating backstraps! Enjoyed this episode!
I hunt swamp bucks on our duck lease Its always a challenge ONe year i hunted a buck 13 days straight without ever seeing him But new he was there by his giant track ended up killing him in the last 5 minutes of light on the last day was my biggest buck for ten years I was waiting on a jungle edge next to an agriculture field Figured he bedded in the thick jungle Nope last half hour he rose up from a little low spot out in the middle of that agriculture Never thought that such light cover would hold him But he could see 360 degrees and was in the middle of probably 300 acres That low spot was all the security he needed Great 8 point dark horned with mass to boot LOVE your videos keep on grinding
I know it happened fast, but when you watch the video, he has already stopped when you bleated at him. That's what scared him, that he had already noticed you and stopped, then you bleated. Deer walking that slow you just shoot them. You might be off an inch or two but it doesn't matter.
Married life has a way of sanding down the edge. Which is usually good and needed. Trade offs. And Jimmy - brining the blues! Love it! 🎸GoPro your composing for these! 👍🏻
Maybe 40 years ago but not today with 60%+ divorce rates, 80% initiated by the woman who is rewarded with cash and custody 90% of the time. Just a way to get emotionally and financially wrecked. Pretty sure Warb got a single mom too which typically is a very bad choice.
I dropped a 9 pt bruiser on Stateland this morning…..thank god my buddy showed up to help me drag him out…..i felt every one of my 53 years today. My biggest buck to date and on public made me even more excited. But you young guys and this channel keeps me going.
Congrats man I’m hoping to get my hunters safety done in the end of this month and hope to hunt next year in Massachusetts
Congratulations
Congratulations. Also got a 9 on PA public. 2.5 hr drag still feeling it but worth the memory!!!!
Good job man. Hammer em
I bought one of those backpack sling's. You wear it like a backpack and it has a adjustable rope and d-ring. Makes dragging a little easier, especially if you don't drag against the grain of the deer's hair.
So glad y’all hunted arkansas, the natural state is highly slept on
Y'all better keep nick on fulltime as part of the crew!!!! He completes the channel hands down!!!!
Couldn't agree more... he fits in well
He's a great addition and quite hilarious!
He needs to stick around!
I love that you guy's show the up's and downs of bow hunting. And the fact that most videos y'all put out don't have a bunch of music playing !!
Greg always on point. Don’t even need to talk. He’s always a step ahead.
It makes me smile that anytime Worb catches a glimpse of a deer he says "BIG BUCK!!!". The excitement gets us all.
You guys are who got me into public land hunting 3 years ago and so far to date I've killed my biggest buck last year 140 inch 9 point and this year I shot 120 inch 8 point all public land deer and it's all thanks to you guys!!
I love that you guys do whatever it takes. I doubt there has been many guys hunting the swamps in hip boots sitting in standing water.
It's actually a pretty common tactic among bottomland and swamp lands here in Arkansas
Nick is such a cool dude. Y'all need to have him on more episodes.
Greg and warb great combo. Greg does amazing camera work. Exciting stuff!
They have really built a well rounded group of dudes at this point. They're all pretty great at their craft and each tote their own quirks and uniqueness. It's been pretty neat to watch them grow over the years and be able to live out their dreams.
I had completely forgotten about Ted's Lightning Dance. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Thank you, guys. I needed that.
Glad to see y’all back in my neck of the woods. That was close Aaron, and a good buck. You played it right, but maybe a little too close for trying to grunt at it. Tough luck, you’ll get him next time. Good luck!
Fr wondering what part they in
Why do you want more hunters in Arkansas?
Just got home with my NY state land buck. Shot with a bow on the ground at 40 yards, 4 mile drag out. Now I'm celebrating and watching some THP.
I can’t believe y’all haven’t hunted the St. Francis Sunken lands in north East Arkansas yet.
Never clicked so fast. Love having you hear in the Natural state. If you haven't looked at it yet White River NWR is known for giants and I have seen several taken this year alone down there
Nick needs to be a permanent part of this team!!
Man I love it when Greg and Warb team up. Great hunt boys.
Please tell me I’m not the only one that noticed Aaron didn’t lock the trailer to the ball when they were running from the rain glad you made it safe
Awwwww damn son!!! You’re right!!! the lock lever is still vertical on the drive off!
Well we do not know if the boat made it safely, may still be out in the woods on the side of the road in Arkansas wrapped around a tree.
Exactly. The guys that consistently shoot p&y on public in the mountains with low deer density would have a cake walk in the Midwest states.
Glad you still have a boat! During the quick hookup in the rain you never did lock the latch down on the receiver for the boat. Damn Warb, you can not catch a break on these dandy bucks this season. Your time is coming and soon!🦌
Got myself an Arkansas swamp buck back in October. There's some great public land there.
Arkansas public is probably the toughest to hunt in the whole country
I feel your pain buddy! Found a pretty good spot here in northeast Arkansas last week while scouting decided to do a ground set using a felled tree was set up to shoot in the direction I thought they would come from then had an 11 point come and sneak up about 10-15 yards from me coming from the opposite direction and spooked him when I tried to make a shot. Glad to see y’all back in Arkansas and I wish y’all the best of luck!
27:54 I bet you're kicking yourself for making that noise when he was stopping anyway!!! He was looking right at you!
Love the Hunting Public. Been following them since Midwest Whitetail.
Gotta stick some tape over those blinking red camera lights.
Put Nick on the payroll! Love it.
Thanks for re-showing Ted's lightning dance! I feel bad for laughing so much but I know he was OK. Can't see what's next.
Arkansas bucks be on point! They as hard to kill as they come! Glad y’all showing some of it! Hope y’all had some good luck!
“That’s why we ain’t out there right now… that’s exactly why we ain’t out there”
*goes out there* 😂
Just discovered this channel and I can’t get enough of it!
Love seeing y’all post these Arkansas hunts! Hope y’all get one I know how difficult it is down here
27:55...... my LORT...what a MAGNIFICENT beast...

That was tough bro but that’s what keeps you coming back 🇺🇸
Glad to see the thumbnail match what happed in the video but I wish it wasn't 2 separate pictures cropped together.
Tough hunt bud. I hate it when everything in a hunt goes right until it doesn't!
Love when y’all come here to Arkansas. Great video boys
Y’all should try the ozark and ouachita national forests next time your here!
I’m headed to Arkansas bow hunting next week! I can’t wait!
good luck! my home state
#THP1 real people, real hunting adventures!!! They don't get any better than this!!! 💯🔥🔥🔥
Taking my boy for his first hunt this weekend. I can't wait to get him out there.Keep em coming TNP.
That deer at the end was already stopped by the time you messed up, should of just let it fly that close. 🤷
That was a monster buck! You'll get em next time. Love the content fellas keep on keeping on
That sucks man! Hell of a buck. Glad to see y’all in Arkansas and finding bucks!
Hate to see it not work out but that was an awesome experience! So glad y’all decided to come back to Arkansas!
Nick just seems like he belongs with THP!! What a hoot!
Aaron we’re both having the same luck this year, so many close calls with big ones, you guys keep me motivated, keep up the good work!
Ya'll did a hell of a job! Just shows that just one small detail does not go right can be the difference. Its hunting in its truest form!
Dang, that was a really nice Buck!
This video really shows the extremes and difficulty public land gives you. THP keeps amazing me. Good luck! Really nice buck
Thanks, keep the videos coming.😃🦌😃🦌
always watching and watching the excitement of the video is entertaining and the audience can also feel the excitement of hunting
If I could choose I would hunt with Nick and Zach. Even if we don't see nothing we'll still have a great time
The week of Christmas to new year is prime rut time down south.
Nick brightens my day
After those failed attempts of getting in trees. I thought your setup was amazing, thought you blended in great. Can't believe he picked you up like that. Great episode!
I know hindsight is better but if you just would have shot instead of making a noise that buck would have been yours. He was barely moving when he first saw you and that was the time to shoot. Ain't no doubt can't do that on Arkansas public not like up north.
It’s July 23rd and I’m watching this cause i can’t wait for bow season to be here!!!
Man! Greg's camera work is getting EPIC
I could hear Warbs heart beating! Exciting hunt for sure!!
Loving the Warb and Greg content!
Arkansas bucks are tuff. Don't give up on the ground game, you came close. Best wishes.
Well I’ll tell ya, the deer in SW Ark. (zone 14) we’re rutting harder than I’ve ever seen Nov.11-17, then they slowed down a bit. Had 1 doe being chased by 4 bucks that way same week
Same here in SE Arkansas. That weather was unreal. Waaaay to hot now and raining every dang day. It's a mess.
@@bch5513 yeah I know that cold front started rolling in while we were on the way to camp, couldn’t have worked out any better
Looked like he stopped as you were grunting at him. Tough luck man. Better luck next time!

My state! Northeast here. And good timing. I bought some merch and it came in the mail today lol.
Love that you boys came back to AR for another go at it! Awesome hunt Warb....I've hunted these bucks my entire life, it don't get much better
That buck been stopped and shot at before. He knew what was going on!
Love seeing y’all down here in the south. Good luck fellas
I love the battle with the trees. 😂 Was thinking about it a few times this week during my drawn hunt in coastal south Texas. Tiny trunks high stem count stuff I was really hoping to get up in. Found one hackberry that worked.
Get Encounter! I enjoyed that!
I miss hunting in Arkansas. Moved up North over 30 years ago. Love hunting Illinois also. Good Luck guys.
I harvested a ni e heave horned old buck the Friday before Thanksgiving week. Glad to see some out of state success of seeing a good buck and getting the word out about some of Arkansas great hunting.
Been an action pack season, you guys keep up the good work man ,I love it
Man, that sucks 0.5 seconds from being the Arkansas King of Camp, stay on em Warb. Greg's camera work is sick af, half the time I'm saying how is he getting that shot!

Man that looks like some awesome habitat to hunt in.
Nothing like laying in a steel culvert during a lightning storm! 😳
anyone else notice you can hear the cameraman's heartbeat at 26:20? hahaha he was hyped
You guys are a joy to watch whether you arrow one or not.
Awesome!! Keep 'em coming!
Welcome back to Arkansas boys😎🇺🇸
When Aaron was up in the tiny tree with his stand I was like are you freaking kidding me 😂🤣
Its tough down in Ark! that was a good one! The highs and lows of bow hunting
Dang that was a SLOB congratulations on your deer 🦌
I DARE y’all to travel to south louisiana to make a bow hunt on public land. much much harder conditions out here😂
I'd be afraid of the lightning too! Arkansas is an often overlooked great state.
Back to back videos.. love it
The marine has a bow in his hand finally!
Awesome hunt, that’s why it’s hunting and not killing. Pulling for you Aaron
You left the the trailer hitch un latched y’all!
