i think you guys need to bench pirate since he is the primary enchanter and raids are very risky, it might be to risky for him as he is too important, actually bench him from all dungeons thats probably too risky too, he is the primary enchanter of the guild after all

To be fair, they're highlighting an extremely toxic trait. The dude put himself on a pedestal, couldn't handle the gravity, and then gaslight / blamed everyone else for the crash. If this wasn't on a marquis, I'd honestly be a little concerned.

Thor absolutely has ego problems, consider him refusing to discuss "Stop Killing Games" with Ross Scott and calling him a greasy used car salesman.
That said, in this context it seemed he saw his team fuck up and call run, and he didn't want to accept any personal level of risk to bail them out. This Yamato guy was calling people back in, after calling run, to save the tank. Healer trusted him/the team and died for it, Thor didn't trust them and lived. If Thor had put himself at some risk and played well, he could have probably saved the healer imo. Tank was a goner, but because Yamato felt bad about that he got another person killed.
Not a big deal, its just a silly game drama. But when the loudest voices calling for Thor to "take accountability" fucked up to an even greater degree with worse consequences, they're hard to take seriously.
Problem at this point has nothing to do with anything that happened in the game and instead the toxic and egotistical way he's been handling it. It took until after the fact for him to admit any level of wrong doing and only then he still kept qunatifiying it with other peoples mistakes.
However, him having a big head and taking too long to admit wrong doing are hardly crucifiable offences. There's a camp of people here who always jump at the chance to take someone who is seen as wholesome down a peg.

The key difference between the example clip and Pirate’s clip is that the latter group had no effective shot calling and completely lacked team coordination. Every PUG in HC I’ve been in has been better than that shit show b/c we had group cohesion.
If you join a group that seems questionable, leave immediately. The warning signs were there before anyone died, yet they persisted.

ESH. It's hardcore WoW, you die you restart. Every single person there is to blame for not knowing the dungeon/their class inside out etc. There were so many mistakes made up to that point which were easily preventable.
I've seeing a lot of povs of this drama and all of those I can understand there is so little focus on the "who's fault" but more on "pirate has the biggest ego". But upon watching a lot of clips I can't see how yamato's ego isn't way way above Pirates. He's desperately making everything else blow out of proportion even to the point of people wanting to cancel pirate and send death threats? Like he's the guy who killed his parents or something and chase him to the ends of the earth for the sake of admitting "accountability", over a video game btw.

The craziest part is Pirate getting gkicked without warning and not cheating. Pilav was kinda expected at this point, he was warned multiple times. People cheating - pretty obvious. No. Trying to justify blaming the mage in this situation is amazing, when the whole situation was not created by himz, and of course, after looking at things, it's as the saying goes, after the battle everyone is a general... Everything Pirate did up until the moment he leaves the instance is perfectly reasonable. Not ideal, but fine, people are people.
Everything Pirate said after leaving that dungeon was holier than thou bullshit from someone who has no empathy for the suffering of others, yet somehow still thinks they deserve the compassion they are incapable of showing towards others.
And that is a much bigger mistake than anything he possibly could've done gameplay wise.

I think they first blamed him for the deaths, then blamed him for roaching, then blamed him for ego, then blamed him for poor response, etc, etc, etc and the whole situation got blown into something completely ridiculous. I agree that what he said after is far from ideal, but I also can see that what they did to him is far from ideal. He was backed into multiple corners and lashed out, again, saying thinks he shouldn't have said, but I understand why he did it. One can look into this from the others perspective which is what I feel people are not doing. Imagine a situation that happened, that is not your fault, and almost everyone one gang bangs on you. Yama had in my opinion the shitiest attitude in the the dungeon making calls when he should've been quiet, and then reverting those calls and immediately shifted blame and attention to Pirate, who in fact and without a doubt roached. Ozy screwed the whole pull and then some... And in the mist of all this, people are focusing on one person, because as I mention, first was because of the roach, then the deaths, them the ego and bla bla bla bla. The ego one is funny too me because people acuse pirate of having an ego, which is true, but everyone else filling entitled to an apology and criticizing him left and right about what he could've (and should've) done as if they're all high and mighty, they don't have an ego... this is what bothers me in the whole situation, it's how one sided this whole thing is for the sake of drama.

Bad communication, mixed messages and straight up panic brain. You don't tell people to run and then start giving call outs to stay and fight and then to flee in the matter of 30 seconds. Could the mage have tried to help more, well of course he could have but it doesn't change the mistakes everyone repeatedly were making up to that very last attempted blind at the end. For so many "pros" that was sure a shit show of a pull.
Now that he’s gkicked and the streamer discord call is on UA-cam, it’s pretty obvious how all of them were dog piling him, looking for someone to hate and milk content. Some of the things said in that discord call prove exactly that pirate was right in his reaction.
EVERYONE made a video, the whole SERVER was dogpiling him for 2 days straight. EVERYONE escalated the situation and you expect him to be all zen about it.

BUTTTTTTTT when Pirate did blizzard how come 4 of them was chilling there standing around instead of running? mobs got slowed. plenty of time to run. then 'salvageable' got called and got the healer killed when its definitely not salvageable. the amphy clip look how far they already when they called run,they RAN 1 room ahead.

Run was called. Druid had aggro, rouge was safe and stayed calling for heals on druid aggro. This was all after roachware casted blizzard for half a second and scurried off.

because u can clearly see the tank getting slowed by the pack of mobs behind him because thats how wow works, u get hit from the back u get dazed. thats why the 3 of them tried to stay with the tank so they can heal/peel whatever - people who say „but the call was to run“ have never actually played wow and dont know basic mechanics.
if people actually started running all for themselves the tank would never come out alive in such situations since he has all the aggro on himself.
But how long have you guys been grouping (Tyler/Ahmpydown/The rest)? You guys trusted each other to do your jobs.
How long had Pirate been running with those guys? Yam kept changing his mind "Run/Recover/Run" and Pirate could not trust those guys to do their job when the call was made, because of that.
Yam made the correct call in the beginning, to run. He fucked up when he said it was recoverable, if they all just ran instead of trying to recover, maybe only the tank would have died, so 1 v 4. If he tried to recover with them, like the healer pulled Agro from the tank and got ate by dogs, Pirate would have pulled agro, gotten killed, then the healer would have gotten agro from healing, died, then probably the druid trying to pick up healing for the dead healer would have died (like he did here) then Yam would have just run and the tank probably would have died.
so instead of a 2 v 3 like it was, it might have ended up a 3 v 2 or a 4 v 1 in terms of Dead/Survived. It's not only Yams fault, but he absolutely should take blame for flip-floping on calls when they just kept pulling adds. This is why i always cleared areas to pull shit to JUST for this reason, trying to thread the needle with patrols is fucking stupid in normal classic and its worse in HC.

Honestly the situation was mostly the shotcallers fault if you call "run run run, RUN" and someone runs as fast as they can then they are not wrong. Also the druid broke the camels back by jumping back into to a third camp if I remember correctly.

I dont think asmongold was rage baiting at all. Think its one of those times he was 100% right and just got to yamato cause yamato knows its his fault, he could have vanished and distracted the boss to prevent the pull. He called out the boss was coming so they saw the boss. Yamato should not be leading a group. He is the one that panicked and got people killed. In fact while they were running to the door, yamato was running agead of the group too. Maybe if he had stayed back and helped maybe kill a few mastiffs while they were running out? Maybe dont get mad at pirate for doing the exact same thing you did just with less distance between you and the group?
Totally different circumstances. The other boss was CC immune and all the trash mobs were behind said boss too.

If the boss isn't aggro'd on the Mage, it's irrelevant that the trash mobs were behind the boss. There's no threat on the Mage if he steps up to Blizzard the mobs. It's fine if he just wants to run, but to claim "there's nothing I could have done" is completely false - and every single experienced Mage streamer I've seen has said he could have done more

When they wanted to salvage it was too late. Druid jumped and pulled a 3rd pack on ramp, and if they stayed ANOTHER patrol was also coming.
More people would have died if they tried to salvage.
Healer was just caught between the 2nd and 3rd pack pulled. So when the agro was off druid when he died, she died next.
Tbh, only one that deserved a character delete was the druid for the horrible play.
@@AddictedApple I disagree, I think if played better it's totally possible to save someone - but regardless, I also think that in a guild group you should at least try, instead of claiming you have no mana (when we can clearly see Mana Gem & Robes of the Archmage up). And even if you disagree with both of those, at least have some humility after the fact and display some sympathy for the people that died instead of lying about having no mana and ditching the call - and I think that's where a lot of the animosity comes from for people

They were all saved and home free after they go down the ramp except for maybe the druid, I dont remember seeing where he was rn.
After the tank comes down the first ramp he's not being attacked from what I remember yesterday they can all just run out now, but big brain Yamato called for them to stay and fight right when they get to the top of the 2nd ramp and he says "Pirate why are you walking" for whatever big brain reason and they stay and fight, then die.
Watch it from Yamato's POV, they were all safe at top of 2nd ramp
@@knes167 Sure, that's fair and could be true. But both things can be true at once: other people fucked up, AND Pirate fucked up. It wasn't all his fault, he could have done more, but so could other people, I agree. The problem is that Pirate was initially denying all responsibility and making false claims about his mana, which is why the focus is on him. If he just said "My bad" or "I just wanted to save myself" it'd make sense, but he initially tried to deny any wrongdoing and showed no remorse for the 2 dead party members and left the call which annoyed a lot of people

if Yamato was "better" he would have distracted the boss and that overpull would have been completely fine nobody would have had to run it would have been just a messy pull. you can't say "it wasn't Yamato's fault" when Yamato is literally the ONLY person who could have prevented the boss from patrolling to the group. he's also one of the people who could have interrupted the ogre's cast- so he failed at EVERY opportunity. he then calls for everyone to run, and spends 30 seconds doing ZERO damage, building ZERO combo points, doing no kidneys, gouges, blinds or peeling aggro off the healer even though he has evasion up and vanish
pirate decided not to help and then made excuses for it to justify him securing his character's safety. that's one thing. Yamato decided not to help, but pretended to, and then blamed Pirate for everything going wrong.
yamato took blame for his poor gameplay. He called pirate out for not even trying to help them run (as a frost mage should always do).

There wasn't a BOSS mob immune to slow in that pack though was there? So it isn't a fair comparison, sometimes just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean that you should. If piratesoftware did this 1-1, he would have pulled aggro and died to the boss. I had to break this awful echo chamber.
If you watch Yamato's pov, from the moment he calls run, he spends 40 seconds doing nothing, not even basic attacks. He only has time to blame Pirate for roaching and calls Sara back in to heal Ozy and Snupy. He stands there, in the middle of nowhere, doing nothing, while saying "c'mon this is salvageable"
No meanwhile he tried to blind the boss.
Which is why he apologizes to those who lost their characters and admits that he could have done much better.

people need to watch the pirate clip, they call run, so they all run except for the tank, when they are slowed he just stands there and attacks.. then when he notices they all left, he starts running, they stop to see where they are at (pirate included) and then some one says Run again... so they all start running, yes he used the wrong blizzard.. its not on him for the group saying "we can take this" and then 2 people dying.. its actually the toxic league mentality of blaming others that is happening there, nothing else.

@ But you're reading in that there were huge mistakes on his part. He didn't see the 'mistakes' and many don't. The run was fucked. And there is some expectation for him to be humble and concern for others when they are actively going at him and telling him its his fault.
Yamato was yelling at him while people were running and was a hot head after. I dont think he has any responsibility to react like a dog with his tail between his legs. The truth of the matter is that it was a terrible pull by all accounts and Yamato made several bad calls.
If you want humility, you can look for Yamato to have it because he shouldn't have blamed a single other person in that run when he was shouting bad calls. Yamato could have said sorry and let it be that. But instead he freaked the fuck out and found a reason to be upset with Pirate. even hours later.

@ I don't care if he apologized or not, it's extremely obvious he wasn't the main cause of the bad pull. His only time to cone of cold/frost nova was when they pulled the first pack. Any time after he would have instantly died because threat was all over the place. Speaking of threat, are you aware that mana generating items generate a large amount of threat? Are you aware the boss has a charge? Are you aware the sorcerers can one shot frostbolt mages? Are you aware rogue should have been using his evasion to tank before asking the mage to risk his character? Do you know how much damage rogue did in that fight? He could have saved everyone if he was a much better player, but he wouldn't be in that situation if he was with better players to begin with.

Tbh the tank should’ve been the one at fault and worst case scenario should’ve been the only death. Tanks are the group leaders, decide the routes, and do the call-outs. The biggest reason why they fell apart was due to never LOSing the packs causing more to be pulled.

The people who think a nova would save this group are nuts. Yamato was asking everyone to stand in that doorway, which caused 2 more fail pulls while he was calling it salvageable.. but regardless of that at no point in the tape is there more than 1 mastiff in front of Fengis. He would have had to go around the boss and nova 2 fail pulls he didnt know happened (because they shouldnt have and wouldnt have if everyone kept running like he did, wisely). The boss extends the range, I dont know if Yamato didnt know that but thats not a savalgable place to fight 3-4 adds and boss given the start and resources. I cant see anything but a mage sacrifice if Pirate goes past fengis to get the nova everyone think could have saved that healer or druid. I think yall are crazy.

Everyone in that group was making plays that you would maybe see from new players in heroic dungeons.

How are all you ppl falling for this? The rogue got those players killed with a lot of help from the druid. If the rogue was the shot caller watching out for the boss is his job. Calling run when pulling 2 packs and a boss is fine but you cannot stop running halfway. If they had just kept running they would have lived. Also the druid isn't standing on the ramp and doesn't pull the 3rd pack if he doesn't hesitate. Also notice that when the call to fight goes out the rogue, who can actually stun the boss, still does nothing to help either. The "accountability" this rogue keeps demanding is "everyone did something wrong so its not his fault."
This is the boss at work who screws and now wants to share blame so he doesn't actually have to take accountability. Every time he vaguely references "I could've played better" he immediately tries to claim everyone else could've played better. This is literally shifting the blame.
