The auto throttle for Cirrus was a snag in certification and Embraer is working on an auto throttle for the Phenom 100/300. The 100 no longer is available with the G1000 and I'm not sure that the old 1000 was provisioned for auto throttle, I'd have to check that. However, Cirrus presented the Vision Jet with auto throttle from the start and thus certified it (TC) this way whereas Embraer introduced the Phenoms without AT as type certificated. Now it's just a matter of regulations for certification and keep the single pilot rating.
A major move of a factory will always have teething problems for a while, who says if Embraer have to move they do not have the same, but is a smaller company and easier to clamp down on mouthy employees. If you notice at all, Boeings are much larger planes.
The main good thing about a jet is the snob appeal because there are no propeller showing. For that money , I rather get something like a PC12 or to make some feel safer some model of King Air. The only category they will lose is in speed and not much, They will easily out haul the jet and get into fields jets cannot. There is also an advantage in PR for props, especially when you are trying to sell ideas to people like climate change , carbon emission and other BS. Recently, since so many pilots had been "vaccinated" I made it a habit I will not get into any single pilot planes unless I get a front seat.
the King air 350 that was posted on this channel recently posted takeoff distance of 3300’ and landing distance of 2600’. This phenom takes off with 3200’ and landing with 2500’. They can land and takeoff from the same airports. This jet is also 4 million cheaper than the 350. Seriously man, based on your lack of attention and research you should probably keep your “vaccine” opinions to yourself.
