I added a tiny piece of scotch on one side of the watch to hold the cover in place . It worked well . The case back popped on the watch. First time I ever used a press , your video was extremely helpful. Thanks
Thank you! Showing the video despite the initial challenge and keeping that tightening challenge in the video makes it even better for beginner diy folks like myself :)
Thanks for this tip. I was just looking through Ebay for a watch press when I saw your comment. After having the back held into my ICE watch for a week with tape, I gently applied my considerable tonnage to the back of my watch on the carpet and it snapped back in. Top comment 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
I wasnt able to do so. Same problem until i saw your comment & check back the video lool i was not using the top & bottom properly. They have to be firmly matched so that the smaller top will snap in the wider bottom. Thus eliminating room for the watch to move
This video is 4 minutes too long. Edit out all the blah blah blah and redundancies Turning the top piece in the wrong direction. Talking about the camera and other irrelevant nonsense.

Threads the cup on backwards then gets it, totally ignores the notch in the case back that clears the stem slams it home anyway
The reason why you were initially having a problem screwing in the bottom die was because you were turning it anti clockwise!
wrong way mate
😄
Actually it was the Top Die and not the Bottom. LOL
Well done and very helpful! kudos from Canada my friend in watch👍😀
What do mean turn the backing? What about the notch for the stem? If you turn it won't you risk bending or jamming the stem?
yes. this poor guy is not answering lol
Dude...you were turning the top die the wrong way the first couple of tries.
Is this an equivalent of ensuring the watch is waterproofed as the watch originally intended?
I use my heel with the watch on the carpet

Thanks Mate. Great tutorial! Charles from Down Under.....
Right tightly 😊
Thank you so much I was using a small top and was not closing. Wasn’t until I watched your video that I saw it has more or less the same size 😅

Great help! THNX!
Great video!! Thank you!!
Thank you 😀
I save money by getting good tools. A battery change isn't a big deal for me, so this sort of thing can let me keep the watch.
Oh, noooo the backplate has to be straight. I'm getting OCD watching it
thx anna
I smashed the glass 😕
Me too 😢 just bought this press off Amazon ... thought I picked the right sized dies... not sure how to guarantee not breaking it again!🤷♀️
Gwint prawy a ten kręci w lewo 😆.
