This footage was done around early January but we can see a tired Rommel surrounded by equally tiered troops, all signs of a defeated army yet they fought very hard to final surrender!
On the eastern front they fought stubbornly and desperately until the end. And in the western part they surrendered with fully equipped and armed combat-ready units.
There is no german weaponry. It's captured and restored french tanks from the campaign in France in 1940. Nevertheless an interesting video for modelers and persons interested in military history. 👍

This was a battalion equipped with captured French tanks only. All rebuild to be Assault guns.
