I'm so confused by Matt and Anastasia's wedding. Of course, she didn't know how cheap he was and that he spent a HUGE amount of money on himself and his friends, which she and her friends got massages and nothing else. Oh, and he had TWO parties!! He had the wedding on a boat knowing full well how seasick she gets. He's one of the closest grooms I've seen on here with a personality bordering on sociopathic. Then he books the reception in that hideous, ugly, barren warehouse with ugly, ugly peeling paint that totally detracted from the pretty decorations. And she praised him and told him everything was beautiful and wonderful! Why?? There are so many red flags with that man. I think he's very unattractive and he and his friend give me the creeps. And why did her parents wander off for coffee and not return?? This is one of the strangest weddings and worst grooms I've seen.
I'm pretty sure she has to at least pretend to be happy for the show and go through with it because I believe they have to pay the show back if they don't. If I were her I'd play along until the camera's turn off and then get an annulment. But this is one of the worst weddings I've seen, right up next to the groom who planned a hot tub wedding where most of the tubs didn't work and his bride is allergic to chlorine.
There have been some who planned really good, fun hen dos for their brides, but far too often they send the girls to something they hate, like ziplining, paint ball, or something where they get dirty, wet, and cold. I've also seen them send the girls to a pub and they get one or two drinks but no food, and the girls each have to pay themselves. Meanwhile, the guys plan fun things for themselves, like going abroad for an entire weekend, or planning two big events for them and their guy friends. The WORST was the groom who went to Las Vegas with his best friend for a WEEK. Then he flew her and her parents there, but no one else! They married in some cheap Vegas wedding chapel. He spent about $10,000 on him and his friend and just a few thousand on his bride. For some bizarre reason, she made excuses for him and married him anyway!!
First time I've heard someone else dislike Flowers for the same reason as me. I would rather see a Field full of Cabbages than a Field full of Flowers.
It breaks my heart, I revisited this episode and read the comments to see, I've already watched this before while my mother was sick..She died and I found her. Breaks my heart. Both parents are dead..They will never see my brother or myself get married. So sad.

I've only seen a dozen or so episodes of this show. Matt is the first time I've seen a groom actually lay out a game plan and budget.
Have to wonder how many divorces after the show comes out and the women see all the money spent on the guys and minimum on the hens.
