Ah I feel your pain with the impulse buying. I tend to do a click and collect order to avoid the impulses and it works pretty well. I also don’t enjoy wandering the supermarket, so I will happily spend a fiver on click and collect from my own budget (doesn’t come out of our food budget, it’s me paying for a service so I don’t have to do the thing) but it saves us money in the long run. Loved the honesty of this video, we’ve all been there. Is there anything in particular that you’re looking to learn to make from scratch? (Apart from the sourdough and sausage rolls!)
Thank you. On my channel I just want to keep it real and be honest with you all. I love the thought of making lots of things lol. I would LOVE to live on a homestead and grow and make alot of our own foods but due to multiple reasons it's never going to happen so the best I can do is try and make things from scratch. I really want to make my own tortilla wraps and crumpets lol they are on my to try list lol x

Hannah you need blinkers on when you go into a shop for 1 thing and end up spending all that amount 🤣🤣🤣 I think with everything that’s going on with your house anything that can cheer you up is a good thing, and I quite understand you buying processed foods when you yourself are poorly and your children need all the extra love you give them with their special needs, have you ever ordered from Ocado? I’ve just signed up with them got 20% off my first order, free delivery for 3 months, and they’ve given me vouchers to use on my next 4 orders totalling £45! The quality of the fruit and veg is well impressive compared to Asda who I’ve had home deliveries off for ages, so I think it’s bye bye Asda, I too love the smell of hyacinths, will you plant them outside in pots for next year? at least you could take them with you when you move.
I love a trip 2 Sainsburys i regard it as slightly more lux than asda or tesco so not a regular however i get side tracked in their home section i love mugs bowls plates etc and they have the habitat range which i love. Have you tried your local charity shops for recipe books thats where i get all my books . Great haul px
I haven't and to be truthfull iv never shopped in a charity shop. Iv donated tones to the shops just never shopped there. I don't know why tho. I'll have to have a look next time I go down town xx

Thank you. Not good I'm afraid. The drains that were fitted need to be taken out and more work to be done and the roofer said he fixed leak but happend even worse 2 days ago so now new roofer coming to look what needs doing. Xx

Did you buy the fruit and veg on another day ? Sorry, but to quote you, you absolutely did waste your money ! So much processed crap items, so many spur-of-the moment unnecessary buys like books, plants, Valentine stuff. You need to go shopping with a money savvy, no nonsense, kitchenwise person, who'd never buy stuff like processed pasties and pancake mixes in a box. And try going online for recipes or to the library for free cook books. You'll save so much money !
