    Woaha! Nice condition too!
@2:08 Sums up pretty much the expression and feeling of EVERYONE who ever drove one! Love it! 😆

    Owned many of these cars - 1st was a 79 gun metal gray/saddle interior 5 sp that hooked me on 928's...next was another 79 5 sp brown/brown that I repainted gold...then a rougher 81 auto, a beautiful white on white 82 auto, a several black 83's, a wonderful 85 black/saddle auto, solid 85 aqua/saddle auto, an 86 champagne/burgundy 5 speed, a red/black S4 auto and an 88 black S4 auto. Loved them all..
In the 80's-90's when I was buying & selling cars they were somewhat hard to find but so very inexpensive -- each had less than 70k miles and needed only minor repairs or maintenance...I enjoyed driving each for a number of months and then sold them for more than I had into them. I ran a sales/service/parts website named "928 Porsche" until Porsche threatened me with trademark/copy-write infringement lawsuits.

    Congrats with a very nice 928 😃
I have one myself and it's really fun to drive.

Absolute blast. My intention was to buy, fix up and flip in the next year or two but we'll see. 🙂I just love it. I thought my 1992 Volkswagen Cabriolet was fun until I got into this thing!

Congratulations! My -81 S (Euro) looks like it belongs in a scrapyard in comparison, but then again it's quite a bit more track-focused. Oh, the 4.7's are actually still non-interference, as long as they were the old 16-valve ones. The 32-valve ones however are not.

Thanks for the correction! I'm actually relieved that the early engines were non-interference. Makes them a lot less stressful in my opinion! I've already got a new timing belt on hand thought that I'll swap out in the next little while. $1,200+ for a water pump though. Yikes!
