Your Traditional Chinese New Year Shopping/ Oldest Dried Seafood Market video showed the sea cucumbers, abalone, ho see, fat choy and everything else. You are very thorough which is very good.

Your family must be eating good tonight for CNY Eve with all your purchase. For me shopping last day of any celebration. is a no no . If I must, always bring partner to carry things. So many meanings and reasoning to purchase everything in this market. Are there any vegs or seafoods not good for buying/eating for Chinese Lunar New Year?

Shopping on the last day is always the busiest 😛😛😛 and you need to wake up so early such that you can get what you want.

Hotpot was not a traditional Chinese New Year's Eve for Toisan and Cantonese people. Poon Choy was not traditional Chinese New Year's Eve dinner either. I guess hotpot and poon choy is popular today. Poon Choy is awesome with abalone, sea cucumbers and other seafood. Ho see is a traditional Chinese food for the New Year. However dried oysters ho see and fat choy taste awful!!! Hotpot is too good since everything is boiled, and you have to dip the food in different kinds of sauces. However, the food don't taste as good as sauteed food or poon choy. Abalone, sea cucumber, conch, razor clams, scallops and other seafood are delicious for the Chinese New Year's Eve dinner that you call reunion dinner. Chinese New Year celebrations goes on for 2 weeks. You can still have a awesome poon choy dinner with your family. I am fluent in Cantonese too. I am in the USA, and it's awesome to see your video on the big market. Also you speak very good English. There is a error in one of the above sentence that says Hotpot is too good!!! It should be Hotpot is Not good!!!! I am too lazy to delete all the comments, and start over.

The Chinese new year isn't a great year because it's like celebrating Happy Pandemic's Day.
