- The loser must submit to the victor...
Here, this ubiquitous truth
is a basic principle
and eternal standard.

Welcome to the extra stage... now the stage itself honestly isn't too hard once you get it down, and that bit's not too hard to pull off either. This stage reminds a lot of Touhou 2s Extra Stage in that all the enemies come in very distinct phases and said phases are noteworthy enemy patterns you've fought in the previous stages. You still have to be extremely careful and do things very specifically (especially playing as Tsubakura) but at the very least you know ahead of time to a certain degree what you're getting into.
Apparently after getting his ass handed to him by “Tsubakura” and Yabusame, Clause finally learned how to better use his gravity powers. He may only use three spell cards here but they're all much tougher and WAY different than how he used gravity as a final boss.
Now... Tsurubami... She's not hard... rather she's just a huge pain in the ass... Simply put Tsurubami's not difficult like a normal hard boss would be, she's just cheap. She doesn't have some special ability that she loves to flaunt like all the other characters, but if I had to say something that stands out is that she loves to make her bullets hard to see and even invisible at times. The shit is just bullshit in a shooter game like this...

Man, seeing Tsurubami and EE again makes me realize just how much Len'en's plot has changed, especially with BpoHc. Imagine how Tsurubami would react if she actually saw the shenanigans happening in that game.
"Tsubakura, why don't you just...... idk, go right after beating Kokoro? You won't have to deal with the rest of them if you beat them all up in one go"
I always wondered why Tsubakura's Extra stage theme sounds so melancholic and restrained, with such a depressing title as Old Stifled Memories. But seeing the game's lore and just what they had to go through, I kinda feel that it's a premonition of Tsubakura's life in Mugenri.
Having the ability to look for fun, and enjoying what is enjoyable, is probably why they managed to survive in such a world. Even if the wiki said they intentionally never used this ability; it's more like it's baked into their aloof personality. More like 'the ability to look for the bright side of things despite the situation'.
So anyway, I grew to like Tsuba as a character thinking about all this, and Yabu being their oddball yet grounded friend that kept them sane
22:04 - there's actually one gameplay explanation to this. Never wondered why at the Power of 3.00 all your strong shots and little, but still much needed horizontal support just vanished to give place for a thing laser? The thing is, this laser have a certain gimmick: the FARTHER you are from the enemy, THE MORE damage this laser deals. Ideally, you always want to be as far from your enemies as possible, because if you're not - you'll definetely going to have at least *some* amount of trouble surviving through patterns without good ground coverage. Technically, Yabu and Tsuba are the extreme versions of Reimu's and Marisa's main philosophies of "Main objective - to survive and dodge" and "Main objective - destroy as fast as possible, before enemy becomes a threat". This gimmick, while a bit nerfed, exist in all other Len'en games too!
1:12 That description..... Is kinda fantastic in my opinion, mainly due to how self-aware it sounds.
I think Tsurubami is supposed to be the equivalent of Okina Matara (Or the other way around since Tsuru came out first), at least their abilities are similar, drawing out potential of a person vs blessing power upon someone by opening backdoors. Then Tenkai = Yukari because the power of border.
Cha cha real smooth
21:24 Although, visually boring looks is something quite a lot of Windows Extra Stage suffer from due to them mostly being recolors of past stages (usually Stage 5 and sometimes 4)...
Looking at you, PCB Staircase.
I have officially beaten this extra stage. For the longest time, I was wondering how this is even possible. Most touhou extra stages I can't even reach the boss, and I've never even gotten close to a normal 1cc of anything. But it seems Suzumi is really, really overpowered. Deals way too much damage, the knife release can hit everything, and 5 bombs per life. The bombs also just skip to the next attack, although this of course doesn't apply to the extra stage. I think some of you might be rubbing off on me, I cleared with 0/0. Although I did of course play an updated version of the game that might be easier. I think I'll try for a normal 1cc with Suzumi as well.
Tsurubami where in the fuck are you
Mugenri's a mess
9:55 Curse of Vlad Tepesch
12:07 Orin’s 3rd non-spell
...Hold up, that doesn't look anything _like_ Orin's 3rd non-spell, hell I wish her attack was as easy as this one.
Rin's firing projectiles again and again that spread out. This is a series of straight-line bullets that rotate around Tsurubami. I don't see the similarities.
MegamanOmega I thought the bullets had a straight pattern to begin and will spread out overtime... Just like Orin’s 3rd non...
@@jadeng.s.2549 No. Biggest difference is Orin isn't firing a constant stream of bullets, rather she'll keep firing out spirits all around her randomly that fire straight ahead. Those spirits then fire multiple random bursts of bullets around _them_ but are angled in such a way that they will then fall and move at the same trajectory the and speed the spirits themselves are moving. Causing a sort of ever expanding wave.
Here Tsurubami's firing multiple, but constant streams of talismans in a straight line that fork into two lines at set points and all the while rotating the pattern back and forth. Making it so you can just find a gap and hang out in it as it rotates around. Orin you need to hug the bottom and aim for the largest gap in the blast aimed in your general direction and all the while hope to hell you're not gonna get blindsided by one of the ghosts off to your side still exploding more bullets.
Feels no flash bomb dude
Eternal Dance Engine rhymes with Eternal Shrine Maiden (not really though).
Isn't it the last word in a sentence that makes is rhyme?
Monochrome
Extra lives aren't as big of a problem, because you don't actually get them every 10 million points. You only get them at 10, 20, 30, 50, and 100 million points.
Tsurubami's fight is super easy tho
Also did JynX increase the amount of damage Tusbakura does in the update or something? For both "Blood that Cannot Escape from Advancing Age" and "Spiral Galaxy Barrier" I can just sit at the bottom middle of the screen and the spell will end before anything reaches me.
Probably. Across the board he made the game easier in the update.
Else you don't know about Omega..... is the first time you play as tsubakura is not the real one it's tsurubami disguised as tsubaku but the real tsubakura appears in extra stage
He mentioned that in an annotation
"the clock that doesn't tell time"
(throws in the trash) SSneaky: USELESS *^#*
SSneaky And Friends *Muda
Por que hablo en español ?
Why she/he speak on spanish ?
I mentioned it in an annotation shortly after she started doing that. It's cause in the original, for those lines she's speaking full English as opposed to the Japanese for everything else. So to maintain what's going they translated it as Tsurubami speaking Spanish at choice moments as opposed to English throughout the conversation.
SSneaky: I hate people that disguise as me too.
SSneaky: F78783 Prehistoric shape-shifters
a Prehistoric shape-shifter mind you that can also directly copy your abilities.
SSneaky: even harder to find, even more of a pain 💢
Wtf is this?
