I recently turned 70, I love the grace and wisdom reflected in her face in response to the unconscious condescension of some of the judges. Patty is an inspiration to any person who does what they love and expresses their authentic self. I love her more every time I watch her.

Just saw it today I cried. I’m 55 now and still love dance since I was a kid and until now their are still many who was amazed when I danced at my age now still love to dance but my body can’t go to the flow as what I want that’s why I cried for joy for an 80 yrs old to danced as she could. Thank you

*I would like to point out,* that _all women are forgotten, passed over, and become _*_INVISIBLE_*_ past a certain age._ It starts in our late 50s and continues for the rest of our lives. Becoming more and more ignored every day.
I have made it my mission to shop during church hours where I live. That is when the 60+ population shop. Even masked it is still important to acknowledge all women (especially when their alone), smile anyway since your face shows it, and ask her how she is.
*We are your sisters, aunts, MOTHERS, grandmothers and so on.*
I am not going down without a fight or without a smile on my face!

Wow! I relate very well to what you said. I'm mid 40s. Mistaken for 20s. Single. I experience one of two things, women either mistreat me, or ignore me, because of jealousy or Envy. On the other hand, men in general are intimidated. So they dont speak to me. So usually, I'm ignored, and I'm a Loner. But I just deal with it, and ignore everything else. And laugh to myself, because I figured, the more I get hated on, it's the more I thrive. And shine bright like a diamond. Literally!
@@Weislawa You are *so right* _other women._ I as well am in my early 40's. It seems that the age group of 20-40ish are not always supportive of their fellow woman. I just kill everyone with a smile.
I like to sing and dance to the store music. *Not obnoxiously. That often get others joining me.
We have one life and I am going to live it! Once in awhile I will take my mom to run her errands. When she cannot find me, she calls out a Loon call. I respond appropriately, in Loon. I know, it's completely Loonie. :)
I _do_ have a boyfriend of almost a decade, but am always in a place of being able to just leave if I want to. Purging 4 times a year and keeping all my stuff in plastic bins.
*When we go shopping together I will dance at him and lip sync behind his back. Sometimes he catches me. He gets so embarrassed. I just want him to loosen up a little! He has no idea how fleeting life is.
I lost my Father when I was 26 and he was 52 after a 4 year battle with cancer. I grew up an only child with a single Dad. His illness and death was so profound for me, I stopped caring about what people think of me. However if you make me feel like crap, I do not need you in my life.

I did not have to be past 50 to become invisible. I feel I have been invisible most of my life. But it does not stop me from trying to be the best person and being nice to others.
Amazing, never underestimate someone or their abilities to do anything. That's what keeps her looking young. She is a an amazing example for many.

Be strong, go back to yoga, exercise, whatever. Then when we finally get out of self-quarantine, we will follow our dreams!

I'm so appalled at the judges attitude at the beginning and I'm so glad that they were shown up for their attitudes. I think that Nico has a great attitude and Paddy is a lovely lady. When I feel a bit glum, I watch this to make me feel happy :D

This 80 year old elder woke me up at 61 to take dance. She had a Susan Boyle reception and again the audience won over.

14:00 my brother and I grew up in ballroom dance and I am SO grateful to my parents for putting us in dance ... they remind me of us when we were their age and her "faces" remind me so much of my brother lol his face was always so animated when he used to perform/compete. Love it.
