- 🌳🎥 270FT JUMP // TRAVERSE || Climbing HYPERION TALLEST TREE ON EARTH 380FT🌎 || Tree Surgeon / Arborist Adventure FILM
Discover how a group of tree climbers come together to climb the tallest trees on earth!! The highs and lows form friendships and bonds like no other. A film to inspire and ignite love for the mighty old growth forests of California, 10% are sadly being destroyed yearly by climate change.
No products seen in this film, where filmed with the intent to sell products!! All products seen are products given to the Canopy Climbing Collective for no monetary gain. and not limited to this specific project but for ongoing projects aswell. If brands want to repost images and videos taken by canopy climbing collective they do this on there won behalf, not for monetary gain but for creation purposes only.
The Canopy Climbing Collective are not a business entity or group and consist of a group of friends who love and enjoy climbing, the group is not run by anyone singley but collectively decisions are made, the content produced may seem high level and professional but the images and videos taken are purely to capture the fun and excitement the group have on holidays.
Since the filming of this project the area to Hyperion has since been closed. The compendium was dated back in March but wasn't enforced until the end of June. Yes the canopy climbing collective visited this tree in may but no signs or enforcement was in place at this time due to the early stages of this compendium. We may have been one of the last to see this tree. From the film you can see the area around Hyperion is dense and full of Vegetation and the specimen and tree around it are thriving contrary to the many articles claiming that the tree is suffering due to foot traffic.
Enjoy the film!!

These guys man 🥷🔥😈🙏
Extremely well done. Inspirational and educational. You've done the international industry proud in my opinion.
Im glad you think so 😊
as a tree climber this is amazing. I'd love to see the footy of the legendry throwball toss he did. Drinking some tea in the top of a tree .....what else is there to want. The love they feel for trees is not lost on me. I love trees and the brother/sisterhood that comes with it. Great job team :)
This surly has to be the best upload of 2022 on this platform. Well done totally enjoyable. I would like to venture into this kind of work however I’m aging at 47. Thank you for sharing this.
Huge respect. Amazing video. Loved it. I’m 51 now and climbed the tallest tree in the U.K. so I know some of what was involved. Keep it up.

Cheers frome Denmark, the country of short and fat trees! (mostly)
Looks like you had a blast and a fuckload of toys to play with, like the scenic, and gear shots!
What a epic Produktion. Real craftsmanship in two worlds. 💪
Magnificent! Well done
Cheers mates👍🪵🍄
Great stuff, great job! Thank you.
FANTASTIC video, boys!
Awesome watch nice work guys been looking forward to watching this and blown away expectations
When the tree still has life it will be processed further for lumber or firewood which is always great as it’s never wasted!
Brilliant film 👏🏽👏🏽
Will watch this later, it looks great.
Awesome
What an amazing looking journey!!
Some criticism about the film itself: I would've hoped a little more breathing room from the shooting and editing by longer and more stable shots and by letting people speak their thing without playing random music on top and cutting away in the middle. Also, the constantly moving camera, all the crossfades to black and the lack of clear focus made it feel like an endless trailer of a film with no storyline. I think it would've made a better series, where you could really concentrate on the topics, rather than cruise from drone shot to drone shot.
Please don't get me wrong, I watched it till the end and will watch the next one also. But with just a little bit more thought in the process would make the next film a lot better. Anyway, thanks for sharing all the cool shots of the big trees and the rigging and cheers from Finland!
Cheers for the criticism were run and gun and don't plan any shots tbh. Always looking to improve !!
Classy stuff Sim! Credit to you lads for making this happen through all your hard work and passion for this mad industry 🤙🏻

Blessings to you all from us tree climbers here in NC,USA!
Thank you very much mate!
Very cool! Thanks for the knowledge as to why you do what you do! I’ve been contemplating for a while now as to why there is a need for people to cut trees down and what not. Sometimes it’s for a pool or new shed. Most of the time it’s for the environment to grow stronger trees
Wow this was really cool and unexpected. Amazing cinematography! As someone who is just getting started making adventure films this is a really cool example of how to do it well. Thank you!
As someone just starting my journey in the industry this is so motivational. Amazing job!
Enjoyed that, thanks boys

fucking awesome!!!!!
Cracking film, looks a fun time. Great effort lads!
Cheers bro 👊
I need one of those shits. I usually don't get excited about clothes (I just grab whatever has the least amount of holes in it from my wardrobe) but this shit looks super sick. If there's no store or anything just sell me the files to print one.
Yip
Ces mecs sont trop forts
Trees? Yeah, they are ... plants. It's strange to think of them as "plants," as are the grass, cactus, and poison oak. But they are, after all, just ... "plants." We impute words like "majestic" to some, and unspeakable words about acres of Himalayan Blackberries or Devil's Club. but they are just "plants', such as you'd find growing on your Chia Pet.
Awesome vid! Curious what your dog leash set up for big saws connected from saddle to chainsaw at 1:17 in the video
Hi Jason, the chainsaw lanyard I use is an Australian product called the ‘Dale Jury’ lanyard. I’ve used one nearly every day for 6 years and hasn’t lost its shape. Amazing quality lanyard
Is the tree you guys climbed at 28:43 called Helios the 2nd tallest tree? Because the form of the tree matches the discription of Helios..
Nice! I'd love to be involved!
Where can I buy that shirt?
Nice one JJ you throwline legend!!! Good effort lads, quality video and what a journey! Thanks!
Will Honey Brothers ship to the United States? Seen some Stihl pants i wanted but realized i was looking at site that was across the pond.
Yes they do mate 👍🏽 might be worth getting in touch with them to find out about import duty etc, it’s different for each country
Absolutely amazing, I can't put it in words, This is what a dream adventure looks like!
And by the way, Can you please tell me what title of the music at 31:36
Music from Artlist and it’s by Sémø called Earth & Heavens.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus”
Romans 3:23-24
Fucking nice!
