I LOVE YOUR AU! It's good that you gave them realistic trauma, especially CC, since Michael was the only one who lived and grew and had the opportunity to mature and sort through his trauma it makes sense that he's more mature and how CC actually has trauma and a personality shift and isn't a soft baby is very refreshing and realistic since he was like 8 when he died, even younger when he watched his sister die, and was tormented by Michael and William's nightmare illusions for as long as he could remember. I don't HATE the stereotypes but I prefer it when people don't CREATE trauma for their favourite character(Like making Mike remember having the nightmares but they were actually his friends trope, that really grates my gears (It just makes CC seem like an irrelevant character in my opinion when it's used like Mike already has a sad enough story, why you gotta take away from other characters man)) or makes them soft UwU babies or makes William out to be the victim, some of them are good ideas but it undermines trauma and the reality of the situation and I think you captured the essence perfectly
I feel I can see something in CC’s anger and his sadness afterwards. Pain can turn into many things, and for him it turned to pure rage. Then it returned to the raw pain it started as. I see something of myself in him a little.
