Never heard this song before, so after listening to Nikki I had to go and watch ONJ's version. I have to say that you have smashed this out of the park, and for me, it is by no means an easy feat to better the original. You should be touring your native Australia and further afield with your tribute to the great ONJ. I don't know of anyone here in the UK who performs such a tribute. 👌

I agree deeply with all the positive comments about Nikki’s work to deliver ONJ as few others can. I also appreciate the commercial aspects and promotional value of a highly produced and professional video such as this. I would be less than candid, however, were I NOT to say that Nikki moves me best when she’s “live live,” as with Darren and company, whether she’s singing lead or backup. Nikki commands the tune and owns the screen - every time. Please don’t let my remarks hold you back (they won’t, you’re a pro) I simply want to emphasize that your live performances move this old musician like few can. Brava!!

I had all her movies on VHS including this one.
All though it was not my favorite movie of hers, this song is a smash beyond belief.
I am still a super ONJ fan all these years later she was just magic and beauty all in one.

Honestly, I wasn't sure about hearing a cover of ONJ, but you really are better than I expect, every time I hear you. I like this as much as the original, and I don't say that easily.
EDIT: Listened to this like 15 times. This is radio-worthy. People release thin and synthetic remakes of stuff all the time. Why can't something this good get to the radio?
