I wish we could get another fortified light armor, I've been running that same set since it released lmao, the only thing is I switch the helmet to the other green light armor helmet.
The legionaire armor is extremely fun for bot missions. Just throwing an airstrike 75 meters into some spcialists lap before blowing their base sky high. Personally, i ended up using that armor with the JAR as primary, AC as support, and all 3 orbital barrages. 120/380/walking. With all the orbital upgrades you just become the bane of detector towers and heavy bases. The passive makes it so that you can throw them safer when working with randos, since you can toss them at range before they commit to a fight only to get nuked.
I mean, I haven’t really tried making them longer. More so, what would I even do for content wise when most were one sentence long. Most people aren’t here for the music or guide videos- definitely not for gameplay. So I am not sure

Other than Bot and Squid nades, I dont think the Fortified passive really does much. Most fired explosives outside rocket striders and barrage tanks do most their damage as ballistic damage instead of explosive for some god forsaken reason. Though if you use the ballistic/directional shield stratagems and tank a direct explosive shot with them, fortified will get much better milage since those shields filter out the ballistic damage part of the equation.
My guy, I don’t thing you understand how useful that light armor is on difficulty 10. I’ve seen people in the big margmellow fortified commando die faster than a man in that explosive resistant light armor on the automaton front. As long as you know how to dodge bullets, you are damn near as tanks as heavy armor if not more, while you get no downside.
Reskins with perks that are not perks but things that solve 1 problem at the time. You want to reduce recoil? Here. Ow, HMG ergonomics is too bad? Here! What? You want both? Don't be crazy. We don't do quality of life in this game What next? You will ask for scout armor to increase your *SPEED?* Jeez, some people...amirite?

The white armor looks better than 90% of other armors, it may not be practical but it looks good so i give it a pass for not being good
If you get even slightly bloody, the armour glitches and doesn't even look white anymore

I use the tan scout armor for one reason only
It works with the noxious ranger helmet (my beloved)

i love light armors, they are great for running really really fast from bots, and if you do need to stand your ground, bring the ballistic shield.

The Green scout lets you mouse scan for POIs
Hasnt been that way for a while, at the very least it has had its range outward from the user heavily reduced.
You can do that no matter the armour. Just doesnt work on the first mission per session for whatever reason
