1) I'm trying to implement a similar approach for a seizure detection using Bonn dataset in eeg format would I still need to make group there like you have done in the previous dataset ?
2) maybe it will be helpful if you upload also the implementation using karas

deep learning is very advance in imaging as compared to signal. so its way to utilize power of deep learning in signals

yes, its possible. once you convert it then these are images and you can easily use keras
