Before watching you’re videos I enjoy to think that these are actually aliens they really live in a different world than on land habitants, to think that if we humans never came to technology and engineering we would have never seen or even think that these species existed. We as humans were never meant to see these amazing creatures, it’s why I’m so appreciated. Keep it up bro.
We were never "meant" to do anything. There is no universal mandate on what anything should do, unless you count instincts. But the universe doesn't care on way or another whether we explore the deep ocean or not. You could just as easily argue that, as the only intelligent species capable of exploring multiple extreme environments, that we *are* meant to do so. If we, as sentient life, are the universe's way of observing itself, then I think we _should_ try and see everything we can.
Honestly, we're gonna find aliens and theyre not gonna be that impressive even if theyre super bizarre. That Venus Girdle is just incredible. The fact its actually a comb jelly doesnt make it any less bizarre. Basically what should look like a glowing bag, looks like a wiggly sheet of bubble-wrap which is both coming and going and does whatever the hell that is lol. Amazing.
Looks like Jean Jacket from Nope. I've only ever seen breakdowns of tge movie and not the movie itself, but u bet they were inspired by creatures similar to that.
@@drecofaria4823you're right it did resemble Jean Jacket at least it's first form. Don't want to say anything to spoil the movie since you haven't seen it entirely
I think the fireworks jellyfish and venus girdle take the cake for me in this video, as far as some of the strangest things I've seen yet, like compared to their relatives. I've never known that ctenophores (or comb jellies) could come in ribbon shapes. I mean I guess it makes sense. These things have been evolving since at least the Cambrian period, if not longer. I'm just used to the round ones with those crazy rainbow light shows. The fireworks jellyfish looks like a living koosh ball or something. Absolutely mesmerizing. The shark swarm clip was very interesting too. Looks like the footage is from 2004? I wonder if the coordinates on the video could be helpful in tracking down where this was originally filmed. Also love the music on your vids too. Definitely love watching these vids before I head for bed. Super relaxing. The Atolla's light show is also worth a mention, and always cool to see. Just boggles my mind how all this stuff is existing at the same time and place (Earth) as us, yet it feels like some kind of fantasy, because of its distance from us (or most of us).
Ended up subscribing I spend many late nights awake in abject pain and this helps me forget watching all these creatures I would never have known about. I still have my full Jacques Cousteau encyclopedia set I’ve loved the sea my entire life. Kinda weird for a dirt farmer
This weekend is a weird weekend for me. I quit my job and the girl I like is moving away from my city and I am sad and I need some quiet video to distract myself and you just uploaded it. Thank you.
I'm sorry about the girl, as someone well acquainted with romantic heartbreak. I hope quitting your job leads to more freedom and prosperity and self-improvement-- many people are too afraid to make the choice to get out of a bad position because change is frightening. Good luck, I'm rooting for you!

Despite catching these amazing creatures on film, actually seeing them is still almost beyond belief!---I frequently resist pushing the play button, & then when I do, I ask myself why I hesitated!
Its footage like this that makes me feel like the deep sea is an actual underworld. Like after death we swim through a darkness or maybe have bodies of light, no brain or brainstem to worry or suffer in the traditional sense, as the soul eases on a journey to its next life.
These creatures are absolutely fascinating. The #3 looks like someone blew a huge bubble gum bubble. I can see why they call it the venus girdle as it quickly spirals upon itself and tightens. Awesome vid.
Your channel is amazing you bring with your videos wonder and amazement for me. I can't say thank you enough! You cheer me up on a stressful day you are soooooo appreciated!
Soundtrack absolutely mind blowing extremely well put together editing with the soundtrack, the vast waters of the world will always amaze me, Thank you for bringing it to us....
woow thanks for the compilation, so cool. I don't even know why I love watching these videos so much, because though I love swimming in the sea, I fear diving! My dad, who scubadived for decades here in central Chile, tried to teach me when I was a kid, but anytime we got deep enough to get into the kelp forests I got so scared I couldn't keep going. Getting thousands of meters down there must be even worse lol
Sounds like you may suffer from thallassophobia. I know exactly what you mean I have trouble going into any natural deep water. It doesn't matter if it's clear or not or if it's a lake or river or ocean.
9:43 At this point, this channel is irl subnautica. I don't understand how creatures like this even exist. The venus girdle is a great example of this. Also, I know I stated this before but seriously, the music in these videos gives off heavy subnautica vibes.
This world is so beautiful and full of life, alien life to us,but amazing creatures that researchers have yet to discover.I can’t wait to see what you post on here

At 12:30 What a beautiful and strange creature! And the iridescent patterns of its body, the camera work to keep it in view and in focus. It's just gorgeous. Fascinating. Yes huge thanks to PHILTECH. Maybe we'll find something like this in a moon or two of Saturn.

It's so surreal to see such a slow moving creature like a sea cucumber swimming. I noticed all the swimming species lack the ossicles of shallow water relatives. I wonder if the reason we find swimming sea cucumbers in the deep is simply because they share a common swimming relative or if they've converged on that behavior and body after losing adaptations for shallow water environments.
It’s so beautiful, like a ballet dance. We are so focused with space, look at all these amazing creatures who were once thought to be extinct but are still with us and who knows what else is down there. Stop looking up, look down in our oceans there is extremely intelligent life force all around us down there.
Maybe the sharks are migrating somewhere? They look like they’re all swimming the same direction, and I know some shark species migrate. Who knows! Fascinating video in general!
The Shark clip was interesting... Seems like they are "waiting" beneath the Boat for something to come to them.. Perhaps the Ship making noise that would lure a school of fish

Indeed! What even is it?
@@Aethgeir Wiki says it's a type of comb jelly, definitely worth looking up!
There so many types of jellies that we may never see another one. Definitely my favorite ocean creatures!😮

I found it having that little shrimp hitchhiker interesting.
