I definitely agree with the comment from Riiot09! Even though we use washable paints and markers, I’ve noticed that certain brands and colors do stain~ not to mention all of the other awesome messy activities we do! I was so glad you mentioned easy on/off clothing. When a diaper change requires us to remove the entire outfit, shoes included, it’s more of an issue when there are so many children than it is at home with one or two. On that same note, pull ups are our nemesis! 😅 It’s incredibly rare that they’re used as intended and creates more work for the already-very-busy teachers. Thank you for mentioning labels, too~ they are sooooooo appreciated!

It was always a pet peeve of mine when parents would send their kids in clothing they didn't want to get dirty. Toddlers are going to make a mess at daycare, keep the nice clothes at home please.

As a daycare worker also , it’s not impossible to keep the kids clean. We always had big shirts for the kids to wear when doing a messy activity. Be creative and try to keep them as clean as you can. My
Kids always went home in the clothing parents brought them
In . Parents spend good money on their children’s clothes and they spend most of the time with us. It’s unfair of us to
Ask Them Not to put them in nice clothes because we don’t want to go the extra mile.
