Wow I love how creative this is! Its like a sandbox except they dont give you every tool and you have to be creative with what they do give you. The goofy artstyle is also super charming actually. Ill definitely be getting it

The 1 second every 10 seconds was for your hand, that is the unplaced/purchased cubes numbered 1 to 15 along the left side of the screen. This was giving you a little passive damage and healing.
How?
@@wellmaruprepareduknowim3272 paradox clock made it so that any effect that takes time in seconds to work would function from your hand, basically. Every 10 seconds a second would pass for your hand, so say you had a healing container that takes 5 seconds to heal in hand, after 50 seconds it would heal from your hand on it's own.

I'm not a game dev, but I think about making games while I smoke cigs outside. I've had it happen where I've come up with a video game idea in my head that I think about for like a week and how it would work, and then see a new game that's a lot like those ideas I was thinking of lol. I was like wtf??? So I totally feel you, aside from me not actually being a game dev lol.
You could totally become a game dev! Speaking from experience, the two hardest parts of game development are squishing bugs and coming up with ideas, and you nailed one of those already@@danm2084

This is like one of those game ads where the person playing keeps making mistakes or misunderstanding things causing you to want to play it yourself.
I'd totally watch a short series that looks at the different classes and species. Curious how they play differently. Cool game.
One race i really like is Devourer. You infect the land itself with infestations and swarm everything its awesome

Just picked this up after watching Retomation and found your channel via looking for more videos on it. It's so good, and I can dig these graphics as they remind me of the games of my childhood, but this is also such a deep, crazy game, and I love it. Hope you play more!

Oh, realizing at the 30 minute mark in that the eye vortex basically disappears and transfers it’s damage ability to whatever non addon cube is placed next - so one could spam a bunch of eyes and then put down a very safe wall and then that wall would start doing a ton of damage every second

I'd love to see more of this especially with the wording improved so you're less confused by stuff like the eyes which if i'm reading right are meant to just give something their ability if you place 'em first
If I read the eye correctly it gives its own ability (the ne below the text in question) to the first unit placed after the eye is placed. The eye then loses the ability (only one eye ability for you) and dies. So you end up with a unit that hurts something randomly each second, assuming you place a unit after you place the eye.
you can even see the stones hurting the enemy in the 3rd battle

Picked this up immediately after seeing the video. Wow this game is soooooooo incredibly good. This really needs more attention.
the potential on chaotic leyline is incredible with the addon, place leyline at the top of your wall, spawn eyes next to the leyline so they gain buffs then fall, then place any unit to combine all those buffs into 1 unit
The game seems really neat. I'm definitely going to be looking up some more videos for this.

Olexa video hype!
Decided to buy and play it only after 30 seconds of watching the video. First run was very enjoyable. It did feel really easy to create a strategy the enemy couldn't beat.
(In this particular case, I had a few bushes that rapidly self-healed, a low-cost laser with which to snipe the enemy leader, and a mana generator that deals damage to neighboring blocks to generate mana. I think I don't need to explain why the combination of those 3 is powerful).
But maybe it went easy on my first run or I just got really lucky, in any case, I'm excited to try out the other classes and races.
Added it to my wishlist. Picking it up next pay day

Pretty sure you can like out the eye damage effect on like a shrine or whatever is what that means, any allies you place without the addon ability do, I feel like the effect is pretty straightforward but yet hard to understand
this seems like the olexa series that gets 12 views but all those 12 love it too death, kinda like the game itself, me personally I'm one of those 12 people, i house this became a long running series in the channel

I finally realized what killed that boss, and it wasn't the falling lasers. His retaliating walls were reflecting the damage of his mortars, and I think they were being reflected at his own leader.
