Ore Loads South, Bessemer Power North, & Searchlight Signals! Chasing Trains on BLE!

As the fleet of BLE ore hopper reach time for inspection, the BLE misc local CN L523 has been running north of Greenville pretty often this spring. Usually it only runs once per month at the most, sometimes being 3 months between runs, but recently it has been running nearly once per week. On this Monday in late May 2024, L523 departed Greenville around 10 AM bound for Conneaut. It didn't make it far however as it was put into the MD siding to wait for U702, the SB iron ore train. We began our chase in Albion with U702, chased it down to MD and then chased L523 back up to Albion. We managed to get lots of shots of both trains passing the searchlight style signals which stand all up & down the line!
