The album truly was a masterpiece, largely because of the heart and effort he put into it. Not to say other artists don’t work hard, but he really stepped outside the usual trends of (Korean and English) Konglish-language music. He chose songs fully written in Korean and crafted a compelling story. In an age where everyone is chasing reels and challenges, he did something very different and did it exceptionally well. Every song had a story and tied together beautifully, and the band's live performances enhanced the experience even more. I don’t know much about NCT, unfortunately, but I discovered his song through the beginning trailer, and it felt like a Disney movie intro-something we don’t hear often, if at all, in K-pop. I'm so glad to have found it. For recommendations, I think "Rest" is very underappreciated.
