I'm thinking no matter who I vote for..... RuthAnn wins for raising such a wonderful family. You must be bursting with pride. Watching this video almost made me cry. It is so sweet to get a peek into your family. I just love seeing how Kendrick wanted to get all dressed up for Christmas dinner and he was such a help setting the table. Hugs to you all. But truth be told, Team A won me over with the mailbox!
Team A for creativity and explaining every detail about the build and the land and what and how it was used. Radishes in the garden...wood by the house and more farther away and when that is gone we need to cut more. I wish there was a Love button for this video. I felt like I was there.
This is Mrs Pete. There is no way to vote for just one. Each one is so unique and beautiful that there is no way to vote for one over the other. Love them all.
Ruthann, you speak of eternal value all the time. It really shows how you’ve cultivated this within your family. I love how Kendrick just sees that you might need help, and just pitches in when you’re setting the table. I love how someone just sits at the piano and plays a Christmas song, and that your little boys randomly walk around singing carols. What memories - well done, you.
TEAM A, ALL THE WAY!!!!! A garden, firewood for cold weather, a pond with shade tree for hot weather, and not just a mailbox but a mailbox with outgoing mail...I love everything about their creation, and they did a stellar job on quality too!!!!!
They were all fabulous! I think you need to have awards by category! Team A for their age should win. Team B’s was the Most Creative…and Hadasa made her own building! Team C’s was the Most Cozy! Team D was the Most Rustic and had the Cutest Baby Team E had the Most Life Experience!!! ❤
They are all lovely - lots of talent! Kendrick definitely deserves a shout out for his composed & detailed story! Hadassa & Team for the great A-frame design ❤️ Blessings to you all in the year ahead!
I love the comments below. As an old lady now, I can tell you that all of your efforts to make memories with your children is worth every second. My children are telling their children that they made gingerbread houses at Christmas and many other activities that we did as a family. I remember so tired, but wouldn't have done it any other way. I loved Kendrick's comment about the frozen garden, "we forgot to pick it', or them referring to the vegetables. Your Christmas Eve dinner table was beautiful. Kendrick wearing a suit to dinner warmed my heart. All of the family looked so well dressed. You are very special, Ruth Ann, thank you for sharing.
That was just precious! I loved watching the little boys talk about their gingerbread house property, so I choose Team A. Everyone did such a fabulous job though. I loved the family prayer and the reminder of how we process the memories. I've helped my husband make enchiladas for over 45 years now. This year was different with the memory reminder. Thank you RuthAnn!
Team A…. Planning and creativity! I loved seeing Dad work on the project too. All in all- beautifully thought out work. Nice to see a family enjoying that time together! 🤗
I have to say, at the end of your video, as you were reminiscent of your father and your vision for your children/grandchildren YOU MADE ME CRY!! I absolutely love your heart Ruthann. Beautiful Christmas at the Zimmermans. Thank you for sharing and reminding us of what is most important.
I’m Team A also! I loved Kendrick’s description of their homestead, especially the use of all their land. “Waste not, want not.” You taught them well, Mom!!
Love how each team was extremely creative in their gingerbread house build. Love all of them but my heart goes to Kendrick and Harrison. For a couple of younguns they thought of it all. Pool, garden, house and yard. Great job boys you have my vote 100%!! Beautiful family memories.
Such a great family activity. I loved them all. The A frame was exceptional, but I think I have to vote for Team A. The little boys went all out. I loved their fence around the whole house. You all did an amazing job. Thank you for sharing your Christmas.
There is so much beauty in this video. I'm voting Team A because who can resist a land with a history, a story, and a well-dressed young man? However, wow! to the rest of the family. Thank you RuthAnn for sharing your amazing gifts. ❤
Oh my goodness, the cow! So fun. Hard to pick a favorite, there are little details of each one that are just so good. Love the A-frame team B, but I also love the porch on team C. The walkway on team D is amazingly straight like it was built with an engineer's eye for detail & the wood pile is so cute. I love the detail (the extra snow😊) on team A & the fact that they used all the land they had for their homestead was so stinkin' cute! So much fun!
Team E !! The cow 🐄, the barn, and the one peanut at a time chimney did it for me !! From reading the comments, it's apparent who the winner is. GREAT JOB BOYS !! But the cow, the herb bushes, and the patience Dad used putting those peanuts on that chimney got my vote! All the teams built beautiful houses! Thank you for sharing this wonderful tradition with us. God Bless You and Your Precious Family 🙏 ✝️
I can't possibly vote for any one team. They're all imaginative, well thought out. & well crafted. What a lovely tradition. Your children will carry these memories in their hearts forever, perhaps handing them on to many more generations. God smile upon you and bless, love, and keep you and yours in this holy season
I loved them all, but I have to give my vote to TEAM A. They used all the land they had just melted my heart. Everyone did an amazing job and all the houses were so special, but nothing is more special than the wonderful family memories created that day!
Team A . I loved the imagination of the boys, the explanation of all that they did and the fact that they used all their "land"! What a special memory , thanks for sharing a window into your family's life.
I love team E. As a homesteader I know the importance of having a barn lol love the details. Thank you for sharing with us these very sacred moments with family. Everyone did an amazing job! The boys with their fence around their house and the garden was awesome! Shabbat Shalom.
All of these creations are so beautiful and thought out. My wife and I loved the house using the vanilla wafers, it looked so much like a tucked away cabin in the woods! The peanuts being used to make the chimney look realistic, the A frame with its pond, the use of the herbs is a wonderful addition to all making them even more realistic! However, Team A made use of ALL their space, detailing so much of their own farm life. They seemed to have a plan and included all the things they enjoy. So much detail, even getting a little coating of snow in the chimney! Team A is definitely our pick this year! We love watching every Saturday morning to get our weekend started. Loved seeing everyone have Christmas dinner and especially Mr Zimmerman giving thanks to our Lord and Savior! He is such an awesome God!
Ruth Ann, you are such a wonderful mom to teach your children about fun completion! I throughly enjoyed watching! Everyone did great!!!!!However since we have to pick a winner, I vote for Kendrick and Harrison! How creative and unique they were, especially for including the garden! Praise God for these precious boys, and for your entire family!
All of the creations have their own wondrous awe. Kendrick and Harrison have incorporated their childhood passionate memories on their homestead. I vote team A.
This video just warms my heart ❤️ Mitchell helping with Winston and Winston babling at pray brought a huge smile to my heart, what a joy!! Words are hard for me, but i just LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos and truly appreciate you filming your precious moments for us to see. I learn so much from you. Thank you for being you and not what the world says you should be and have and look like. May God bless you and your family!!! 🥰🥰🥰
So hard to choose! When you look closely, each one has its own merits and unique style. Gotta go with the little boys though...creativity and enthusiam. Team A.
Kendrick looked so handsome in his suit! I don’t know that I can choose a gingerbread house winner… they all showed creativity and care. I LOVE that your family keeps getting bigger, and everyone participates!
All the gingerbread houses were made with love & are unique. I think this is a great tradition. Ive seen some gingerbread houses that are first glued together with hot glue & then decorated. What a wonderful reminder of the birth of Jesus.
Team A. The real winner is of cause the Family Unit.. The memories made and praise of God himself. What a wonderful role model for families you folks are. Thank you for sharing. Blessings from Australia 🦘🦘🦘
It is so hard to pick a winner. I mean, I did not know this could be possible but they are all my favorite ! But if I must then... Team A's for obvious reasons stated by the other commentators. But then I can't help but say that Team B's is so welcoming, if Team C's was on the market for sale I would purchase it and take it home with me, Team D's has the most symmetric structure and I love the trees and gardening details of Team E's. Job well done, mim and everybody. I really enjoyed the video. ❤
Team A all the way! Their vision was about "HOME." The home you have created as a family. Kendrick did an awesome job giving us a tour of their home and property and Harrison admonished us to be good stewards of what God has blessed us with. Thank you for sharing your Christmas memories with us!
Everyone’s project was amazing. However, I think that the youngest team. Team A put a great deal of thought into their project. And use of every bit of space they had. I vote for team A❤ What great family memories you have created.
Every team made a wonderful gingerbread house, but I must vote for team A , Kendrick and Harrison. They had great ingenuity, and they used 'every bit of land that they had'. I loved their imagination for the garden and the pond, and the reason for the wood being where it was.
There was definitely debate among the family on our favorite, but Team A won my heart for how thoughtful theirs was in making a duplicate of their own sweet home/homestead. A good hearty vote for Team A here. ❤
Team A has my vote. First glance, I just loved their fence, and later the fact that they used their entire acreage were the reasons for my vote. Overall though, everyone did a great job. I did love Dad's peanut chimney as a special touch, and how carefully that big man with big hands put that together. Hadassah's A-Frame house was also very nice. They were ALL well done. I was very touched with Dad's before dinner prayer, and I just love your family, as this is the kind of family I always wanted. Ruthann, you have a true mother's heart, and it shows in all of your family. Little Winston is certainly a doll baby and very loved by everyone, and I'm sure there will be many more grandchildren in the future. God's blessings on your entire family.
TEAM "A" GETS MY VOTE! These boys used the most items, covered more of their area, with such a vision of their home, and it came out, still very neat and precise. I loved them all, and everyone seemed to love making them. What a great tradition to have.
Thank you for giving us a glimpse into your Christmas traditions. I loved everything about this video. As others said, it's hard to pick just one house because each had something i really loved. The A-frame design certainly deserves special mention, the cow just outside the barn, inviting walkways to the door, and a wood pile close to the house so you don't have to walk so far to fetch wood. It looks as though the gingerbread walls, doors, and rooves made for good teething biscuits, too. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the Zimmermans!
Team A. So hard to choose! Every one had some unique detail that I loved but Team A really expressed their homestead and how it operated efficiently really well using the ingredients available. Good job, boys!
I love them all! But I would have to say that I agree with Harrison, him and Kendrick used every bit of land that they had. I loved their details too. So I would say team 1 made me smile the most! Just love your family Christmas! Thank you so much for sharing. God bless you all!❤
2 team winners, can't decide....... Love team A's creativity and land use. I like that they fenced their property, and made sure to have a garden. Team B's house is beautiful. Love the original design. Beautifully decorated, with the herbs added a holiday touch. Nicely thought out landscape with a perfect pond. Love all of them but they were the two stand outs. Honorable mention to mom & dad's cow and cow barn, super cute. Thank you for sharing your beautiful family and traditions with us. 😙💕💗💖
I agree with Mrs. Pete! All of them are unique and beautiful. Though not a contender, the "cutest" is Winston eating ginger bread!! I would say that the little boys, Team A, is my vote. Their creativity, utilizing all their land, and logical set up and features. What a beautiful and fun family tradition!
This was such a fun and touching video! Thank you for allowing us to peek in! All the gingerbread houses were beautiful! I seriously mean that! But it was the way Kendrick and then Harrison described their creation that makes me vote TEAM A! I loved them all! Beautiful memories❤ And little Winston wanted to pray, too!❤
Team A not just cause they are the littlest either. I really really liked the creativity. They really had such fun and you can tell. I just love your family.
Wow! Loved all the thoughtfulness and attention to detail by each team! The front porch with chairs, the fire pit, the barn with a steer, pathways, the log cabin A-frame, the roof tiles, the string lights, trees, etc... but I have to say my overall favorite was completed by "Team A". Theirs was most impressive to me! The "dream home", fully fenced yard, a pond, the mailbox, a wood pile to keep from walking so far... and the garden! So much thought went into the whole property, and it was very personal. What a fun tradition and wonderful family memory. ✨️💖✨️
I like them all, very much, buy team E gets my vote. I love how you added the herbs, the little gardens, etc. The little shed barn in the back adds a touch to the little house. You all did a great job!
I so appreciate what you say about being intentional in how your memories are stored. Thank you, RuthAnn. I grew up in an abusive family, and yet there were also some good times. AsI have learned to accept God’s guidance in growing to forgive those who abused me as a child, I have also learned to treasure the memories of good times. I am deeply thankful for this healing process.
I loved team A story, they have quite the imagination and love of homesteading ❤ Team B path was very pretty 😍 Team c roof for porch looked delish! Lol Team e love the lights and trees I will have to pick team... C As the Winners 🏆 Loved the pretzel chairs on porch and the Voight Christmas colors. ❤ 🎄
I’m sorry, I can’t choose cabins. They’re all so beautiful I could move into any of them today!! You have a beautiful family. They enjoy their time together, you can tell. I’ve always taught my children if you want your family to be happy, show them. Hard times come to us all, but this too shall pass , and this is how you work through that. There’s nothing that God gives us that you and he can’t handle together. God bless you all. You teach me something every day!!
Team A for me please. I loved the little boys imagination, the use of all the land (it shows their understanding of utilising what you have available), and not least the story behind their creation. Good job Harrison and Kendrick you definitely get my bragging rights.
All houses are so Adorable, love the wood shed, ponds, trees, back porches, Christmas lights, and more! My vote is for Team A. Cuz they used all their land and built a fence around it. Well thought out boys! Great Job! God bless you and your family! :) ⛄
My husband and I loved Team A! All were great, but the boys put a lot of love and thought into their Ginger Bread home. And as a bonus--used "all their land too!" Take care and God bless, Cindy and Brian
What wonderful Christmas traditions! All the gingerbread houses were creative and worthy of a win, but Team A gets my vote this year. So much thought and detail went into their creation. 🥰🥰
I can’t believe how amazing all these are. Team A went over and above on the details especially for being so young. I have to give it to team A. What a fun project.
I vote Team A!! Those boys thought of everything and used every inch of land that they had. The thought and the details they put into this was over the top! The garden sealed my vote!! Way to go Harrison and Kendrick!
A team! It was great to see the entire acreage used. I like the entrance to the front yard, all the fences and they persevered to make a chimney! ❤ They all had their special parts. Love to all!
Good morning RuthAnn and sweet family! What a fun family day making gingerbread houses. Team A then mom and dad for the win, but everyone done great. Winston is so cute. Everything looked so delicious. Such a beautiful prayer. Memories and pictures are all we have left of our loved ones after they pass. I hope everyone has a very blessed day!
I love that the boys both work and play in the snow!❤ Mitchell bonding with Winston❤ Making memories surrounding food made with love ❤Prayer and family ❤ Now to vote...oh my, they are all so good! Team E, the deer, shed & herbs. Team E, the roof and trees. Team C, the magical cottage, chairs on the deck and firepit. Team B, the creative A frame and fun sidewalk! Almost impossible to choose a winner. Very difficult but for the win TEAM A. The love and excitement of home, good use of space and the detailed narrative❤ All the food looks so good! Love your family!
Team E ❤️🌟💚 Every single one was VERY impressive though! Absolutely LOVE your precious family! You’re such a wonderful momma for making time to create this lovely memory with your family Ruthann.
Oh my goodness. Harrison house was so full of details but everyone was so gorgeous. I have never made one but I will next year. Such wonderful family time together. Love u all
I love how everyone was so serious about the decorations. Great team work . Your family is always a joy to see together, you can tell that everyone cares for everyone. You are a shining example of family love and togetherness. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. Merry Christmas to all. N
I cannot pick one that's better than all the rest, because I love them all for different reasons! I loved that Elvin so patiently glued those nuts on the chimney, the beauty of the herb greenery on those that used it, the boys' well-thought out and executed house, Hadassah's making her own template, just all the beauty and creativity shown! What a wonderful family activity, and wonderful family. Such love, RuthAnn.💙Your children will NEVER forget these memories.
I am going to have to give my vote to Team A, Kendrick and Harrison. They are all beautiful and well thought out, but hearing the reason for everything they di just melted my heart. Great job boys! I also want to say that everyone looked so nice dressed for Christmas Eve dinner. Kendrick in his suit was so sweet.
Everyone did a great job on there gingerbread homes. I choose gingerbread house Team “ A”.. there was a lot of thought and hard work put into it. Your table is so decorated beautifully . And you’re all dressed up. You have such a beautiful family .God bless you all.
The houses were so unique! I love Team E’s peanut detail and the barn animal - very creative. Team C’s roof, porch, and porch chairs are super cute! My vote is for Team A - “ The Zimmerman’s Dream House.” What a very well-thought-out gingerbread homestead.
100% Team A.for creativity, imagination, execution and for the detailed description. And the snow fall....loved it . The A frame was also exceptional. Just loved the whole video such a wonderful experience for the whole family
Team A gets my vote! Team B was a close second. I loved the A-Frame. But honestly, they’re all fantastic. I’m so impressed by such a talented, hard working and fun-loving family! May God bless you in the year to come 🙏🏼
All of the houses were so well thought out and decorated. So sweet to see the family gathered at the table and holding hands and asking a blessing. Very beautiful memory for your family.
Awe! I love this tradition! ❤️ Love all the houses, but my vote is for team A. Also, love the A-frame and mom and dad’s cow. 😊 Each one has their own special touch. Love your family. Merry Christmas!
What incredible creativity! They are all so wonderful but there is a clear winner to me. Although Mom and Dad made an amazing cow … WOW….. Team A clearly thought about how a gingerbread family would live on their gingerbread property and made their home not only beautiful but practical. Team A for the win!! 🎉
Every Gingerbreadhouse is amazing but I love the house from Team A! Kendrick and Harrison did such a great job with all the little details! All houses are wonderful and we're made with lots of love! What a great family tradition! Thank you for sharing this moments with us! Greetings from Germany 🙋🏼♀️
OH, I'm with TEAM A! Kendrick and Harrison have the most awesome "homestead" and thought of everything from the garden to the wood pile(s)---when they use all the wood close to the house, they can send the kids to get some more and they won't have to go to the woods! LOVE IT! AND, they used "all their land". You're raising some fine children. All of the houses were amazing, but I loved the description they gave about their house.
Exactly, how do you vote with this much creativity ❤
Team A for creativity and explaining every detail about the build and the land and what and how it was used. Radishes in the garden...wood by the house and more farther away and when that is gone we need to cut more. I wish there was a Love button for this video. I felt like I was there.
Team A. They have a great design and they used every bit of land they had. In the economics of today's market, we must maximize our resources.
This is Mrs Pete. There is no way to vote for just one. Each one is so unique and beautiful that there is no way to vote for one over the other. Love them all.
Yes I do agree too ❤they’re all unique and beautiful 😍 🎉
Ruthann, you speak of eternal value all the time. It really shows how you’ve cultivated this within your family. I agree with everything you said. Kendrick makes me smile every time.

They were all fabulous! I think you need to have awards by category!
Team A for their age should win.
Team B’s was the Most Creative…and Hadasa made her own building!
Team C’s was the Most Cozy!
Team D was the Most Rustic and had the Cutest Baby
Team E had the Most Life Experience!!! ❤
@sharih5741 thanks for figuring it out for me. I so so liked them all 🎉
They are all lovely - lots of talent!
Kendrick definitely deserves a shout out for his composed & detailed story!
Hadassa & Team for the great A-frame design ❤️
Blessings to you all in the year ahead!

Loved all of them! Your son taking care of the baby’s needs throughout is a real gift! ❤️
Such a great family activity. I loved them all. The A frame was exceptional, but I think I have to vote for Team A. The little boys went all out. I loved their fence around the whole house. You all did an amazing job. Thank you for sharing your Christmas.
Team A for originality! I could see their love of home and their life on the homestead. Great going boys!!!❤
There is so much beauty in this video. I'm voting Team A because who can resist a land with a history, a story, and a well-dressed young man? However, wow! to the rest of the family. Thank you RuthAnn for sharing your amazing gifts. ❤

Looks like team A has a landslide. Ruth Ann, what a beautiful job and family. God is Great! 🙏💜
My vote is Team B. I love the originality of an A-Frame. All of them are so joyful! Great job to all the teams. ❤
They are all wonderful! But I think Team A wins my vote, so creative and I love that they “used all their land”! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Kendrick looked so handsome in his suit! I don’t know that I can choose a gingerbread house winner… they all showed creativity and care. I LOVE that your family keeps getting bigger, and everyone participates!

I think everyone's house was a step up from last year. They just get better and more creative! What a great tradition
Tough choice, but I’ll say Team A. The detail reflects the creative play time they have in real life. Love it!
TEAM "A" GETS MY VOTE! These boys used the most items, covered more of their area, with such a vision of their home, and it came out, still very neat and precise.
I loved them all, and everyone seemed to love making them. What a great tradition to have.
I can't pick one. They were all great in their own unique way! I loved them all!
Team A. All were super creative and beautiful. But the boys outdid themselves with their house that even has a mailbox. Really impressive this year!
I love them all! But I would have to say that I agree with Harrison, him and Kendrick used every bit of land that they had. I loved their details too. So I would say team 1 made me smile the most! Just love your family Christmas! Thank you so much for sharing. God bless you all!❤
That little helper in his suit made me cry...such a beautiful family!! Im partial to the A Frame house 😊
Team A has my vote! So creative! This is truly a labor of love.
Thank You Ruthann for sharing such a special time with us! I really enjoyed it!
Team A... the boys brought all of their talents and ideas this year... they even thought of the garden with frozen radishes. ❤❤❤❤❤
I loved team A story, they have quite the imagination and love of homesteading ❤
Team B path was very pretty 😍
Team c roof for porch looked delish! Lol
Team e love the lights and trees
I will have to pick team... C
As the Winners 🏆
Loved the pretzel chairs on porch and the Voight Christmas colors. ❤ 🎄
Team C here, too. Loved all the colors on the house!
All of the houses are so cute. Gotta go with Team A. Watching everyone put together their houses reminds me of the ones my kids & I did years ago. ❤
Team A for me please. I loved the little boys imagination, the use of all the land (it shows their understanding of utilising what you have available), and not least the story behind their creation. Good job Harrison and Kendrick you definitely get my bragging rights.
I love all the Ginger Bread houses, but I have to say, Team “A” really did an awesome job for 2 little boys, they were very creative.
And as a bonus--used "all their land too!"
Take care and God bless,
Cindy and Brian
What wonderful Christmas traditions! All the gingerbread houses were creative and worthy of a win, but Team A gets my vote this year. So much thought and detail went into their creation. 🥰🥰
They are all beautiful but the thought and detail that went into team A is the winner, hands down!
Team E ❤️🌟💚
Every single one was VERY impressive though!

They were all wonderful! Team A gets my vote for their detail and originality
Fantastic gingerbread houses! I loved all of them! Such creativity.
Everyone did a great job on there gingerbread homes. I choose gingerbread house Team “ A”.. there was a lot of thought and hard work put into it. Your table is so decorated beautifully . And you’re all dressed up. You have such a beautiful family .God bless you all.
Team A I love how the boys thought everything through so thoroughly. How fun for all of you!❤
My daughter & her family made gingerbread houses…🫶👍🏻 Fun times👏🏻 so happy for your family get togetherness! God is good! 🙌🏻
Such a hard decision, but I will go with Team A for the house, but I would say Team E was a close runner up for their extras on the outside. Cute cow!
Team A they did so well at adding all things farm...the pond for skating, the gardens. So much imagination...congrats guys
💖💕love Team A! So very creative, they thought of everything even a shade tree in the summer over the chair at the pond💕💖
Team A gets my vote! Team B was a close second. I loved the A-Frame. But honestly, they’re all fantastic. I’m so impressed by such a talented, hard working and fun-loving family! May God bless you in the year to come 🙏🏼
I loved them all, they are all very creative... I think I have to choose Team A, Kendrick and Harrison , Great Job Guys !! 🎅🎅🎅🎅
All of the houses were so well thought out and decorated. So sweet to see the family gathered at the table and holding hands and asking a blessing. Very beautiful memory for your family.
Awe! I love this tradition! ❤️
Love all the houses, but my vote is for team A.
First, it is very hard to pick #1, because they are all very nice and unique. But.... I will pick C with B as runner-up for creating an A-frame style.
Team A put a lot of thought into it! They have my vote.
