Go to the back bathrooms, nobody ever goes back there. They see lines at the front spots and decide to wait like everyone else rather than risk losing spot in line. Trust me, almost all of the back toilets are empty, clean, and stocked
Great video man! Solid presentation, lots of footage from the fest giving people a sense of what this is like on the ground, great narration and direct to the point.
Thank you! Hoping to make some even better vids after this year since I know what to look for and the things I missed.
I used to live 10mins away from Lost lands when it started and now I’m actually FINALLY going 😭 it also starts on my bday so I’m super excited!! Thank you for all the useful info. I’ve been to fests but not a camping one yet so I’ve been trynna do a lot of research and this video is pretty good at explaining. (Especially about the shoes/platforms, you probably saved me so much packing space lol)
So glad I could help! Awesome youre going for the first time. This year is going to be a whole new level!
My birthday is the day of the preparty and its my FIRST TIME TOO🥺🙏 happy early birthday!
Awesome tips for newcomers! Love the Mudlands memories from 2021! 🌀🦖
Thanks for this, first year going to Lost Lands!
No problem! Hope you have a great time :) This will be my second but im very excited
I just realized, my name is also Brett! Haha funny coincidence. But this guide is very useful for first timers! Much appreciated :)
Metal binder clips are super handy for hanging items up off of the floor, holding cloth panels together, hanging wet items up to dry, keeping tickets, cash, ID clamped together, stringing parachute cord up for a clothesline, suspending a light or fan off of the tent high point. Small bungee cords and ball bungees are super handy. Use a small Plano fishing tackle box to keep cords, chargers, cell phone, solar chargers all rounded up. Get the clear version so you van visualize contents. Also keeps dust at bay. Use the quart bag with 3 oz. TSA bottles for your personal hygiene items. The goody bag from your dentist is a good start. Pack minimalist but sufficiently to get you through 5 days. This also includes needed medical prescriptions in your Grandma’s pill box. Most importantly, double secure and guard your car keys so you can take off for home when it’s over.
I could add many things, but one of the most important items I think is having a Massage Gun and Icy Hot. Breaking your neck all weekend is taxing and you have to ensure that you are taking care of your body haha. Also, just any advil/tylenol and vitamins to keep you up and running. Love your videos man, hoping to run into you next week!!
Damn the massage gun and icy hot would definitely be nice to have. I'll for sure be bringing advil and vitamins! Thanks so much :) if you see me definitely say hi!!!
here from radiate ❤️🔥 first time camping and first time at lost lands, thanks for this video so much!!!
Awesome! Just got introduced to radiate, but I like it.
Hope it helped :) More soon!
@@Out_Raging great!! radiate is an amazing app to meet people before raves. but can’t wait, literally have watched many of your videos to help me!
Perfect. These are all the tips I had for my first timer friends. 👏🏼 especially the tips for the cold and mud.
hey i just watched your video and i added you advice to my amazon shopping cart for my first Lost Lands 2023😊 my only fear is getting lost and i dont want to carry a totem, did the walkie talkies work with the vibrate function?
I'll be honest I didn't end up trying it since I went through a bit of a sh*t show before the last lost lands.
Service was horrible but there might be wifi for VIP guests. Making a video about those updates right now!
In general I heard walkie talkies are tough because there are so many people that use them.
Great video! Very informative and you helped me check off a few items I didn’t know I needed. See y’all this weekend!
My boyfriend brought a bunch of portable fans because in 2019 he said it was hot at night. We didn’t realize it was going to be as cold as it was. This year I’m bringing a portable heater as well as fans so we are prepared for anything.
Great call! We were thinking about the heater too but I think we will also grab a fan or two just in case :)
thanks for the tips! me and the bois needed to be informed for our first lost lands!
Cool video!
Appreciate the video as it is very helpful! Going to my first Lost Lands so this is the perfect guide! Thank you!!!
AH IM GOING SOLO THIS IS GONNA HELP SO MUCH
Greet your camping neighbors, let them know youre alone & they will do you solid all weekend. 💜
@@jakobwithak3805 This is 100% a great tip. Even if not going solo. Most people are there to be happy and friendly so its always worth it to try!
I will watch anything with you in it!!!
Thanks for the tips, now I just need to afford to go there😂
I will keep these tips in mind though thank you very much
You're welcome :) keep an eye on ticket prices last minute. They usually get resold for much less than face value.
Forest fam what’s up!!! 🦖 🙅🏼♂️
So informative
Close clamping fam! 2021 was so fun!
@@Out_Raging I am! I think this is my last year for a bit though so we got Glamping and VIP in the fest.
@@DanielleFitzmorris Same! Lol i def will be taking my money to other festivals next year. the glamping and VIP is VERY expensive especially when factoring in flights. Im sure it will be worth it tho :)
Sunscreen- it’s so hard to buy it in the fest if you run out so get the big bottle lol.
TP- even in VIP the ladies rooms ran out of TP every night! Bring extra TP girlies!!
I have a giant rave cloak for lost lands. Its always frigid for afters
This was super helpful! Also something I haven’t found info on yet, what time do you have to leave the campground on Monday?
That’s a great question and you’re right they don’t have that info everywhere. I don’t remember exactly but I believe it was noon. I don’t think it would be super strict, but I was out by 10am which was nice.
Ok so I’m a vegan raver and I was wondering is lost lands has vegan options I really don’t wanna starve🥹 (I usually end up starving at festivals😬)
I definitely would not be the BEST person to ask, but I know they for sure had some options so you wont starve. You just might be eating the same thing a couple times.
I'll make sure to check this next time for a future video :)
Is it get muddy where the stages are, and walking into the festival? Assuming it’s just grass and dirt with rocks. I’m going to lost lands for my first time this year
It wasn’t muddy in those areas last year, but yes it is grass and dirt so if it happens to rain for a while those areas will be muddy.
what was the song at the beginning????
Did you get the walkies? I got some for edc Vegas and it was a shit show. Always getting other people’s signal in every channel lol.
I didn’t end up doing it but I heard only certain ones work well with some sort of specific coding.
Are there any plug ins like outlets in ur tent?
We are taking a jumper bx where uu can plug In outlets blow stuff up ect there like 50 or 60 bucks at Walmart
what is security like to enter the campgrounds?
I don't recommend sneaking things in BUT I will say it seemed about normal, maybe a little bit relaxed. They didnt check my hydration pack 2/3 times and the one time I left water (definitely not vodka) in it they made me dump it out.
Do they sell ice bags?
Great question! They do sell ice bags at the general store. I dont recall the exact price since I didnt need any, BUT my guess would be like $12 per bag at least.
They sell a lot of basic stuff at the general store in the campgrounds stuff is a little pricey in there tho
I would recommend rubber flip flops (shower shoes) so you don’t have to go barefoot into the public showers. 🤢🥴
Great point! Everyone should definitely shower so the rubber flip flops are an excellent tip. Don’t want any athletes foot or whatever else.
Never have I ever grilled at a festival. Fire hazard and keeping your food cold is a pain in the ass. It sucks having to eat things that can't be refrigerated but fruits and vegetables dry goods.
100%
I have heard about using yeti coolers and dry ice, but it just seems like more effort than it is worth.
Plenty of good food to just save up for.
@@Out_Raging we got a pretty sweet grille and I am gonna give it a try this year so that I eat more haha.
@@Out_Raging it’s worth alll the effort not everyone is made of money and can pay 16 bucks in meals everyday
@@Jovani1888 100% if budget is a factor not using the vendors is an option. The pain of cooking is definitely very subjective, but the food is priced based on the convenience. I personally prefer saving up for that so I can relax. To each their own
My dude 12-18$ is not a deal on food. Their pricing there is HORIBLE
But best bang for buck are those noodles
I feel that. For me the premium is worth not having to pack all the stuff to cook hot dogs and stuff at camp.
Who is drinking alcohol there? 😂
Martinez Eric Williams William Hall Brenda
I recommend cooking instead of wasting money on vendor food shit is way over priced
Lots of ex and water 😂
Wow… who brings a hair dryer and curling iron to a camping festival?? Thats ridiculous. Get past your insecurities and rough it like the rest of us. 😂
What do you guys think of these tips?
Is there anything important that I missed?
Can you make a tips video for easy camping? :D
@@AshleyElisee do you mean specifically for the Easy Camping package at lost lands? Like things you would need based on what they give you
OR do you mean a guide to make regular camping more easy? Haha
@Out Raging haha my bad! Like a guide on set up, what's provided, tips, things you wish you knew before you went for easy camping specifically, etc. 🖤 it would be greatly appreciated, I haven't found anything on that and the site doesn't give much description. I want to bring a small canopy to add to the tent, but dunno if it's allowed. How long are shower lines? Can we bring our own pop up shower tent? Those sort of things 🙃
@@AshleyElisee ok that makes sense. I'll work on that. For now, you can bring a canopy and any other gear they would allow in regular camping. Shower lines were not bad especially if you get there before 9am. Same thing for the shower tent as all the other camping gear, but the showers near easy camping were great so long as you get up early.
Tell us more about easy tent camping area. This is like the only video I’ve been able to even see the area. What do you recommend brining for your tent itself??
